I take full AA spec and CE but I think that's an outdated USN BB build. Still works for me. Don't take secondaries, they are mediocre at best. Even though RN BBs have power crept USN a bit, they're still very hard hitting mid range BBs. Looks like you're doing well so far so carry on. I don't know how much NC you've played but the guns take a bit of getting used to and they're pretty similar on Alabama. If you can play NC/Bama you can play Iowa,Missouri Monty too.

A Hull Kongo and Fuso may look awesome and cool but for someone who has grinded through them they are disappointment and bitterness...

I guess, like the Dragon Flag thing last year... They're trying something different I suppose as they like giving out SC at the moment and there is still a nice bonus for all with more than 1k games.

If you mean T8 for rewards partly because of IJN DD tree then WG says no as they hate IJN and their torps. Only other thing I'd like personally is a 30% off coupon...

Well the 0 compensation model needs a bit of reform. Just tougher punishment for the killers would be good. Then the ones who do it on purpose are punished and the ones who do it by accident will be forced to learn.

True as I've got a lot of battles but I only own 5 T10s. And I barely play them when I get there although Moskva seems like a lot of fun right now. Seriously, this is a good event. What would you have proposed WG EU does instead of this?

I guess but I'd imagine the folks who abuse compensation are far less than the ones who TK from lack of skill or rage. If there are abusers then simply increase the punishment for pink so the killers get massively reduced income or even bans. People would smarten up then. I must admit if I'm team torped without any apology I'll let myself flood just to pink them. 200+ mil credits means I'd rather lump a no income game to teach someone a lesson.

This is a nod to players with more experience. It's a two year anniversary after all, anyone who's been playing that long will get good bonuses. More of the weekly missions and bonuses are geared towards newer players. Giving away credits and other things i find personally useless.

I give WG criticism when it's due but it's not really called for here. The B hurt guy has obviously won nothing in their recent SCs Only other thing I want is doubloon discounts on T7 ships so I can get the Hood finally

Lel in Belfast you've likely ruined countless games... But yeah he'll be pink for awhile at least. WG need to bring back credits compensation and maybe even full flags and camo refunds too.

It doesn't make a huge amount of sense to make CVs massively different as it seems pretty clear that nations that could build them decided fairly early on that it's best to cram as many planes into one ship as possible and leave out as much armour/guns as they deem safe. It'll be the decks and planes that should give the national flavours.

Esports is lol anyway, I play this and WoT sometimes as I'm too old to be taking gaming seriously. I tried following the WoT Grand Final and let's just say I didn't have much good to say about it. CW only appeals as I might be able to grind new lines quicker but I can't be done with regular teamspeak driven practices at specific times... Smoke meta nerf might make Ranked more interesting as I've pretty much got the formula for R1 with USN DDs now.

I recall the spawns made Standard USN an utter pain to grind, especially the Colorado. On the rare occasion that the MM threw Tears of the Desert Domination at you and your BB spawns A when everyone else is C then you might as well press Alt F4 or go afk Good luck getting anywhere on top tier maps doing 21 knots or whatever...

Meh I was in a game earlier on the same map in fact where a completely potato wallet warrior Alabama managed to persuade everyone except me (a Neptune) and two DDs to full lemming to A. It gets better as the Alabama spawned at C too. Needless to say we lost big time... The fact is that not all Random Battles (and Ranked) are going to be winnable. Anything over 50% WR is "good" and 60% means you are very good. Even the best players are simply not going to win every single game unless they either 3 man super Division or play something like the Gremy non stop for months on end! WG aren't going to ever fix this as it's part of their melting pot for everybody ethos.

To be fair to OP, whilst there is an element of whine sometimes the spawns really do F with you in a BB sometimes. One game I can remember, I started in the most north west position possible in a T10 game and I was a GK without Concealment Expert. I got farmed by multiple long range HE cruisers and I couldn't escape nor hide anywhere... That was an expensive game. But personally I'd still say "Deal with it" Shouldn't have been playing a T10 BB in the first place lol!!

The only two ways WG can hope to educate the masses is via an in game tutorial as pointed out or short videos/articles on their main page. Those stupid captain and goldfish videos are actually onto a good thing but they're too cryptic and stupid for most to really "get". Something like short 60s videos with one simple piece of advice will get people watching and be short enough so they don't lose concentration or interest!

I think T7 is my favourite as a lot of the ships in it are starting to get pretty decent all round abilities although you could argue stuff like Belfast and Flint spoil the party. T8 would be wonderful if it was protected or games were pure T8 but that'll never happen.

Higher Tier BB are at the mercy of DDs, CVs and even Cruisers. If the rest of the team fail to do their job then you might as well sail into a corner. So then arguably if you know better then you should be playing ships that can change the course of a game? I own all 3 T10 BBs and barely play them, they're just big fat XP cows waiting to be popped. Meh a percentage of all games in both here and WoT are complete write offs even for the best of players. Whether you're spawned badly, other players are clueless, the MM wants to cr@p on you, the DDs get detonated etc
