WG seem to have sold a lot of Kii... I've seen one in almost every game that has T8 in it's MM.

It's an excellent ship... As others have said it's a medium range ship. AP most of the time unless you are vs angled BB then they burn very easily under HE. The belt armour does work, I've utilised it and had enemy ones stop my BB AP. It's just that everything else other than the belt is a bit of a joke unlike the German T7 sisters which are far more resistant. Monarch is a very similar ship with better armour and higher calibre, I imagine the Lion again is similar but again with improvements in armour, gun and finally heal. Any new line of ship will take some time to adjust to. I've only recently understood French Cruisers and German DDs. Neither suck...

Amagi is actually a surprisingly solid BB other than random long range citadels... Factor in the OP torp belt and she's a tough one.

I doubt WG want too many Free XP ships. I'd wager quite a few experienced players such as myself farmed both a Missouri and a Nelson completely for free.

Your mistake is actually listening to what WG say rather than do... I take their Q&As with a big pinch of salt. Sorry WG but actions speak louder than words

I don't own one but the TLDR is an Amagi clone with weaker armour and a weaker torpedo belt but with much better AA. Also has 6km torps in her tail. Otherwise the same.

WG will never change T8 MM. Look at WoT and their MM issues, WG don't give a flying ****. And at least we're not power crept by crazy armour and the need to spam gold!

Oh it's the Gundam guy... Shame WG don't offer up the camo with all Kii purchases as that might have enticed a few more on board.

Fast BB are inherently pretty powerful ships as they have excellent in game flexibility, especially at the lower tiers where your competitors are likely slower. Once upon a time we only had the Kongo then the next 30knot BBs were at T8. Then the Germans came and brought Heavy Armour at high speed. Add RN HE spam and I'd consider USN BBs at lower tiers now "challenging".

This is one of the most stable games I've played... I can recall literally a handful of crashes in all the times I've played, mostly due to mods. Understandable if it's a PC problem as there are literally millions of configurations out there. Do a Google search and see if you narrow down your specific error as chances are someone else has come across it.

If the 4 are skilled then this can work but ONLY if the smaller group are good. I'd like to say I can do this in a DD or BB but it's maybe too risky in a Cruiser due to the risk of being a one shot. Had the most amusing game yesterday. Our DDs yoloed then went utterly crazy in chat about noob BBs yet we fought back and were within inches of winning but the lone DD we had left deliberate didn't cap so we still lost... Some players are detritus...

What on earth is that silly camo meant to be!?! I'm giving the slightly remixed Amagi a miss I think. I very much doubt the torps make a difference in most games, neither would the AA. It's nice to see a Prem that isn't straight up better than the tech tree ship I guess.

Why not grind a Shinonome? Free and good... Gallant is literally p2w for me, I bought it and it basically got me Rank 1 in about a week. It's fairly difficult to play if you're newer and the single pattern torp spread takes a bit of experience to use well.

That's pretty much how all the Kii reviews read to me and so a Prem ship should be slightly weaker than it's Silver counterpart but it's a bit late for WG to be trying to enforce that policy. Awhile back I'd have jumped at the chance of getting something like this but now I've finished the IJN BB line it's pretty pointless. Plus I've barely played the Missouri or the Alabama despite both being a significant investment in time and money.

I trust I'm up to standard? Don't mind RE the Marblehead, I already have one and all the in game Prem time&port slots I could want for. Only thing I ask is you're a "mature" clan that doesn't go around trolling lesser players. If so lets give it a try...

I'm looking for a clan to passive farm oil. No intention of playing CB as I can't be done to meet at regular times for practice or games. Nor do I want to play with a mic. Done enough of that when I was younger in Counterstrike and other games I consider to be far more pure shows of skill. Although at my stage the only thing that's useful is the repair cost reduction. I pretty much have all the lines of ships i want at this stage.

Benson and Fletcher are very relevant ships still. Grab a Sims if she ever comes up for sale again. Benson especially can earn a fair chuck of XP as you're still effective in T10 games. Just remember to turn and run vs superior odds instead of shooting then laugh at the enemy DDs as they foolishly gun bloom themselves.

USN DD line only really starts getting good at Mahan and arguably peaks at Fletcher. Could wait for P Asian reviews I guess. Personally I'd still grind USN DDs but I like them.

A T5 high speed BB with torps doesn't sound powerful at all... Could probably yolo rush the majority of BBs at T4 T5 and T6. Woe to the USN Standard BBs as they'll be pretty powerless to stop a Julius Caesar rush.

Maybe Massachusetts will be another Ranked reward ship yes, it would fit with the Black. Giving out OP ships to those who don't actually need them... Incidentally Flint isn't that good,I have one and Belfast does the same job better

You mean even WG can't hard sell a Fletcher with 50% less torps? Maybe I'll try and win Ranked with it if radar equipped although that's pretty low from WG and it would also cement my case as a dirty wallet warrior as I've only ever got R1 in Prem ships...

I'll be fairly annoyed if Massachusetts has Radar but at this stage I wouldn't bet against it. £40 on an Alabama and WG power creep pay wall just in time for another Ranked season... They're smoking some pretty insane stuff over in St.Petersburg it seems with all these additions. Balance can't be that difficult, there's plenty of online games that add content without breaking stuff or powercreeping existing stuff out. Like all those poor lower tier USN BB potatoes I keep seeing using HE vs everything as they've seen RN BB do so...
