Actually Monarch isn't bad either... 100k games when you just spam HE. The only explanation for RN BB HE making it past testing is that WG are catering for average players. Which flies in the face of their attempts to make a "pro" or high level scene as low skill HE spamming BBs does not require aim to get AP level damage results

Calendar says Trafalgar RN event in 3 weekends time, can I stay strong until then? Yes, it's each to their own really. Time is quite often money and I can't see any issue with someone buying big bundles to progress if they've got other things to do than solid grind lines. I wouldn't spend that money personally but no need to hate on those that do.

Well Amagi armour isn't great either... I do get torped quite a bit in my BBs but that's because I'm willing to get close for better dispersion and influence on the game. I'm finding the CV threat is low these days, even on my USN BBs I won't spec AA into the Captain. More than happy with my Amagi but I can see arguments for Kii.

Can anyone help me understand why WG believe their proposed Deep Water Torps are a good idea? Why would you want to purposely remove your ability to kill Cruisers and DDs in exchange for being able to better kill the easiest to torp ship class anyway? And why add them when instead you could just restore IJN DD torps? I guess you want to please the Asian market with gimmicks. Finally won't this make the average BB player camp even harder? Those kids you sell £40 Tirps to, after a taste of Super Anti BB torps they'll never get into effective range ever again... Sorry if it's a duplicate topic or whatever but I've not seen any specific discussion into their pros and cons.

That game is another example of how cursed the Duca is. I've had her since July but I've had to force myself to play out all 10 bonus wins, has really low DPM and can't push so you're completely at the mercy of the team... Shame MM always puts us VS!

I think the difference is Soviet iconography isn't specifically banned whereas say displaying N@zi stuff is a crime in Germany. Lots of T shirts and hats etc being sold in the Western world with CCCP etc since the Cold War ended.

Problem with full bow in is you lose 50% firepower in an already under gunned (for T8) BB. Plus the current meta means you're far more likely to get fire spammed now so you're going to take damage.

I've only got a 14 point USN captain (Segal) and I've got PM, EM, SI, CE and FP. AR will take me to 16 and the last 3 will either be Vigil or JoAT plus another level 1 skill. Less need for an AA build these days and higher tier USN BB still shoot down planes without many buffs.

Sometimes yes, we Div but there is no requirement to voice comm or play CB. Suits me but we drift off topic!

Join a farming clan, the I'm part of is such. CL only admits decent players but no other requirement. Join usssss hhhiiisssssss But yeah it's a bit lazy of WG, it's not like the Oil mission needs two weeks work either but I guess we should be grateful...

If you can stay alive and after taking CE then maybe... Folk know KGV is squishy. If I ever start a 3rd RN BB captain before WG nerf I'll give it a try, or I'll head onto the next PT.

I wonder if WG can't tweak the TB drop pattern so it's viable but difficult vs DDs? Maybe being stronger vs BBs is WG's way of accepting that a good CV is probably still OP...

Yeah the lols when you're in a Sho and you get a prefect TB drop on a Yam but get no floods. Yam pretty much flips you the bird and carries on sailing... Such additions don't do anything to solve the BB issues as it'll just make them camp harder. Although that's more of a DD issue as DWT on P Asian DDs just punish brave BBs instead of the fail ones.

WG will never do that as people just won't play instead of grinding. Let the BB kiddies be bad, farm them when they're on the other team.

Yam has a 50% torp belt, she's always been pretty resistance to direct damage. It's the flooding that'll get her.
