What's the point of starting another thread every time WG does something that is not quite the way we want? They will only give you the normal answers such as "we're looking into it" and "we are aware of the issue" because that is all their community staff are allowed to say most likely... It's the same reason why I don't ever read the Q&As seriously as they pretty much answer all the hard questions with the same generic answers. I'm finding Harekaze and Aki are like the difference between Fletcher and Gearing. Yes, Gearing and Aki have better firepower but Harekaze and Fletcher are better all round DD packages.

And that's why I find GK sucks, her angles for firing all guns are simply awful and only having 6 barrels instead of 12 at T10 properly hamstrings you as they're not 18" Imperial rifles. I know WG likely made GK sucky with turret angles for balance but that doesn't make her fun to play...

That's probably RN's complimentary IFHE penetrating your modules... BB RN HE spam is insane and I'd say they could nerf Fire Chance to something below normal BBs. When you're doing a reliable 7k to 12k+ every time vs angled BB then AP becomes irrelevant. I'd say try 20%, with 8+ guns you're still going to be igniting them often. HE spam gets strong when a few of you are spamming away. It makes heal and DCP pointless as you simply saturate and overwhelm any BBs repair abilities.

Maybe a short(ish) campaign that isn't time locked, as the complaints with Ranked and CoE was that they only ran for a limited time period.

I sold out and bought it today, mostly because I was so shocked at WG EU's decision to give us the same Oktober Revoluzion missions as the rest of the planet. Glad I bought it actually, only played 3 games but I'll be playing many more but I've played enough BB to know how to rate them I think. Others have said but she's basically a T7 Kongo, very fast with slightly under powered guns although they have no problems penetrating her T7 peers. The AP goes into German BBs fairly well too. They handle very similar to the Warspite's guns, enough for me to feel they're barely any different although people's data mining suggest they lack the penetration of the T6 ship's guns. The turrets are very comfortable in terms of their tracking speed. I've taken Dmg Con 2 as I don't feel the rudder is worth investing in since you're a mid range fighter, her huge size means you're going to get spammed. Even with CE everyone will spot you, Maybe my view of her is slightly swayed by the fact I have a fully trained 19 point RN BB captain so I've literally got all the extra perks that improve a ship's quality of life. Will probably return to this thread when I've played some more...

The easiest thing to do would be to let us choose if we win one in an SC... The sheer rage I have at the almost double figure Defensive AA modules but yet I've won zero Radar modules.

Thing is how are WG going to dig themselves out of this one? RN BB play essentially the same from KGV upwards, or atleast my limited PT experience in Lion on PT and more extensive experience in Monarch suggests. Conq just appears to be the pinnacle of the HE spamming line which is valid but it's spoiled the AP and angling meta that was BB play previously. I've won a fair few games in KGV and Monarch by simply angling whilst sailing away and peppering enemy BBs with HE spam. Yeah RN BBs might be slightly softly armoured but you're still in a BB that can resist most penetrations when angled. Whereas the enemy AP user will simply get roasted by a mixture of direct damage from the super IFHE shells and the fires on every single salvo.

Dunno, everyone has lowered citadels these days. I loled when a Conqueror hit me for 16k with HE whilst angled, it's worse than Yam as at least RNG might save you: 30k+ Yam superstrikes are fairly rare.

Probably should have waited yeah but I've wanted her for awhile... Even running her Bismarck campaign camo too. The results are because most folk are potato and can't handle a fast, mid range battlecruiser. I am not most folk

Yes, I'm liking her so far... Decent guns, fat HP pool, can run away (or chase things down). But this is a glorious RU topic, not for the RN

My first Hood game I was mid tier, was fighting a Tirpitz...

I'll be giving Italia BB a go when she comes out. The dispersion needed a rebalance, not sure what WG smoke not to know Cruiser grade accuracy is BAD on a BB. And yeah, reviews are not the be all and end all. Plenty of ships I've enjoyed even thought the CCs don't like. Worst two "offenders" are the Sims and Gallant both of which LWM from NA said were Meh yet they've gotten me a lot of success...

Some of the Gearing talk is a little harsh but I do agree she's a pointless exercise now. To the point I might even sell although I'm not short of credits or port slots. Just play Fletcher instead and stay calm

The min the containers can kick out is a day of Prem or 250 doubloons, both of which are approximately £1 or €1. No doubt the majority of containers out there will have the lowest possible prize. I still see buying the ship now as something for the fans, won't be profiting from it and rightly so otherwise WG wouldn't earn anything.

I like fast BBs and she looks like a T7 Kongo. Besides I don't consider myself too bad and I think I could make her work...

Both HSF camo and the Green IJN camo give the same bonuses...

Would like this confirmed too. It's likely credits, all other marathons for Prem ships and otherwise have been via credits. Same with WoT. I can't see it being anything but otherwise someone would stand to earn the ship for free and have loads of goodies on top.

Unless someone was good at Ranked the season before last, bought one during that Elemental event or gets "very" lucky with SCs then they won't be able to get hold of them. I've played quite a lot but even I've only got a single Radar module...

Looks like I have to eat my words and buy a full price Hood when I get home... Although I still personally don't think it's worth buying October Uprising unless WG are going to give you Doubloons for when it's won at the end of the month. I can't see anyone earning back the cost of the ship from the containers. Of course if you actually want the ship

JoAT at 10% instead of 5% on Jacky Dunkirk is a pretty significant hike. The turret rotation is meh tho. If one day WG do a radar BB then he'll be pretty insane. I've already got a good Cruiser.captain so I'm not starting again...

I will bet the difference I would have saved in doubloons on the discount on Hood that I'm waiting for that WG EU will give us less than the other regions... As in if we mirror them I'll pay full price for Hood

The bow tank meta has been power creeped by HE spam, my potential damage in BBs seems to have suffered as everyone just uses HE these days. It's so bad that any AA BB captains I've had are now in the process of being swapped out for Fire Prevention. I've sold my NC and use my Alabama now instead anyway.
