It's not the guns I think but the armour that make BBs strong. Even a bad player takes awhile to kill in a fatty boat. Other classes are simply less forgiving. -

Warspite is one of the all time great BBs, don't you dare use HE with her unless vs DDs. She was designed before WG had any idea what to do with RN BBs and has very strong AP shells. -
Yes, Emil is great to play as she's fast and has decent guns. De Gasse will be good when she's on sale again. It's just a shame the French line is basically better Duca...

Well that's the issue, Atlanta spits fire and can crush a DD in about 10 seconds on a good day, Duca isn't even going to fire two salvos in that time... I'm finding a lot of players simply ignore Duca fire until they've picked the higher priority target then they come for you alone. The French stuff seems to have higher DPM so can at least be a bit more threatening.

Well I do pretty well in her but she doesn't inspire me in the same way as Hood but enough about the big detonation ship Problem is Nelson is easy to kill when you know how. E.g AP her to death as she can't heal nearly as much damage. Key plus point other than the heal is the frontal turret configuration that offers excellent flexibility when diving between islands. You can get maximum firepower almost all of the time regardless of your changes in direction. Something BBs with rear turrets will never manage. -

Triple figure BBs in queue with single figures for all other classes. Working as intended according to WG... Although I played a game earlier with NO RN BBs, was 3+ KM per side however. -

Oh... In that case maybe Nelson but she's fairly meh. Pretty nice to play and offers a unique BB experience. Your tank is your healing ability and you need to know when to disengage. The 16" guns are competent in both AP and easymode HE. I'm a dirty RN fanboy and I consider the Hood far better than the Nelson because of her speed and more solid armour pattern. -

Don't spend money on Tech Tree ships, especially not Conq unless you're gambling on no nerfs. Yam is ok and it's unlikely they'll change her I guess. I'd get a Missouri as radar is utterly OP once you learn how to sail as the heart of an aggressive pushing fleet. She's probably my favourite high tier ship and you're at no disadvantage vs T10s if you know what you're doing. I just like fast BBs however and she's the fastest out there. -
Don't get me started, in the last 2 weeks the Yam campaign has frustrated the hell out of me. 2.4 mil potential damage in a BB when the goal is 2.5 mil. 1.4 mil in a DD when the goal is 1.5. 9 Cruiser citadel hits at least twice when the goal is 10 and probably a few other close but nope missions...

In game the camo mission is one time only and you've got until and including Monday. Always best to look in game as that's where WG put their best staff to work it seems.... Other than taking years to correct the hilarious YOU ARE TEAMKILLER!!! message. -
My 19 point super German BB captain build is: Anything for level 1 PM, PT or even that fighter one, AR, SI, ManSec, AFT, FP then whatever you want as the final point. Even in a brawl you will not need EM, German BBs have turrets that out turn most other nations with the EM buff. FP is a must in the HE heavy meta, you'll survive far longer with it equipped.

Please don't go to a T8 DD without knowing what you're doing. Cruisers and BB are one thing but if you're 1 of 2 DDs in a game and you're bad then you're throwing the game for the entire team. If you want credits then just play the weekly missions. In fact there are even more this weekend.

Keep playing her as Moskva makes the pain worth it. Then either put the captain in a Shchors or Budy or maybe just put him in Moskva and keep on rocking. I profited from WG's RU DD changes and had loads of extra captains.

I tried really hard to like the Duca but she's simply too weak in terms of DPM, you can't do a thing to influence games. Ships will just walk through your 8 guns even with IFHE. Her torps are only 3 a side so you'll be unlikely get many hits either. Duca was so bad I couldn't even get the 10 complementary wins mission completed. The turret angles are nice as you are very hard to hit, the armour is occasionally decent too but you still take huge random citadels whatever the angle. I'm only on but French Cruiser Emil at T5 but already she does the same job the Duca is meant to that much better. Needs a range or RoF buff I think personally.

Yeah true, I have a Moskva with it. I've got it on RN Cruisers which is less useful but I've pumped my Minotaur with AA buffs as the DPM is off the chart anyway. WG could actually do with tweaking AR for individual ship classes. Like CE except not to favour BBs as much... -

I always take flags, having up to 12 flags at random three times a day can certainly help build stockpiles on top of farming achievements. Although I only really use the heal and fireproof flags with some repair costs and money ones with higher tiers. WG didn't like the idea of people hording flags so needed the drops from 5 to 4... -
OP has been asking the same question on every ship type's forum... Only the individual and their wallet can really answer the question but personally I'd only get a Prem ship in a tier I'm actually familiar with. Otherwise bad things happen. Kutuzov is a fairly easy long range HE spammer. As long as you check something is spotting for you then spam HE from smoke and profit. Too many poor players smoke up and realise they've got no line of sight anymore, that's very noob... Atago is my personal favourite but the ship is fairly hard to play. Will take no prisoners as you really need to know how to read a situation and when to break stealth to attack. 9.1km concealment with full skills+mods, 10km torps that covert almost 360 degrees, a heal and decent HE guns that start lots of fires are key strengths.

AR is awesome, although out of all the classes it probably buffs BBs the most as their reload times get scary late game and a well saturated red HP BB can still take quite a beating before blowing up. It's especially lulz on Scharn as it can touch the reload time of an Atago. Whilst it's great on any ship other than CVs, smaller botes don't benefit from it as much as their reload times are already pretty swift. -
Did it yesterday and didn't even notice what game... Easy with certain ships but I can see why some may rage.
