Yes I used to enjoy the old one, epic brawls on the south side. But WG decided to rotate it so it was completely vertical aand made the north/A cap an utter fail zone... -
This is Ranked in a nutshell, it's no accident the two out of three times I've hit R1 is in a DD. I play DD in Ranked as I simply don't trust others to do a good job in said little bote. I can't explain how frustrating it is to lose in Cruisers and BB when playing Ranked because your DDs have yoloed themselves back to port. I have probably lost hundreds of games that way and if another season ever comes round I'll be playing DD.

This is really my #1 pet DD hate and I can't say it enough. When the leading DD sees the enemy, cr@ps themselves and sits in smoke doing nothing. GG for everyone behind them too...

Or a blanket 25% reduction in the size of top tier maps wouldn't go amiss either... Your idea is doomed to fail Jethro as you go on the assumption the playerbase has a brain Even with a tutorial they will see a cap that's rarely contested e.g the ret4rd cap as the place to go so they get a few points... -

If they're not going to release new maps atleast remove the fail caps on existing maps. Such as D cap on North, A cap on Okinawa and A cap on Islands of Ice... -

I'm thinking of Atago (to Zao) or a BB of some sort. Unfortunately my Atago captain is 18 points and I'm not dropping points just for some stupid fireworks and an ability that might trigger once every 100 games. Yam is 16 points but I consider top tier BBs a form of suffering. Have plenty of good DD captains too. Might just leave him in cold storage

Out of all the T9 stuff I've played I've only kept Fletcher. Everything else isn't really worth keeping. Missouri is obviously pretty good too... -
There is literally no reason to play Zumo after getting Yam. She's big and fat but without the firepower to make up for it. The three 16" turrets look tiny on the ship and the huge flat BBQ ready surfaces just add to the lol The Nelson in comparison looks compact and functional but there is just so much useless space on the IJN ship...

The extra HP of Aki over Hare is worth way less than 5.4 concealment and a small slim profile... Hare can't equip smoke and torp reload booster but at 5.4km you simply outspot pretty much everyone anyway.

Moskva is already a light BattleCruiser... Although she can't be played like a fast BB, you'll have short games lol RU BBs are inevitable due to where WG hail from. They've even said that RU lines came faster than expected as their staff worked extra for free to bring them to the game...

Well they're likely never removing radar.. The planes being shot through stuff is just the quick and dirty AA mechanics, as in it's a bubble and not actually any guns firing. Which makes dual purpose stuff a little silly as you can literally be firing constantly and the AA is also slapping birds out the sky. T8 has always been a bit challenging for MM. It's probably the hardest point in the tech tree other than T5, I only keep T8 stuff that I feel can cut it vs hard T10 MM. A lot of the higher tier maps completely suck, they're too big and open. When potatoes see the size they assume they should be camping at 20km+ so games often result in fast triple or quad caps. Tears Epi is utter trash yes. In fact I probably would have stopped playing by now if higher tiers was the only ships I could play. T7 MM is generally awesome as you end up top tier seemingly very frequently. -

KGV with armour could have easily stood at T8... Considering Monarch has no problems with 1 less gun and a far lower fire chance. -
If someone 2nd line torps then eat them and flood out so you pink them. Turn into them on purpose if you feel like it. There's simply no excuses for torp TK. If there is any danger you'll hit your team then don't launch. Yeah it can block you getting kills sometimes but that's just how it is.

CVs are not weak, even now... Just ask a DD captain how well games go vs a good CV who spots him and his torps non stop! And the eternal issue when MM gives you a potato CV with a decent enemy one... -

Actually sometimes T7 as that's when fast BB start appearing but yeah at T8 every fatty is a monster that has few weaknesses other than the potato at the helm. Personally I think they peak at T8 and T9 as they're a little "too" big&fat at T10. -
