    Hello! Lately I haven't been able to finish games because of insane lag followed by disconnects, which means I lost valuable time doing the new Fly! Strike! Win! Tasks, which I mean, is annoying, but I can make that back fairly easily. BUT THIS This is just plain fucked up. Why the [edited]do I get the teamkilling penalty on top of being unable to play for half a day? And why is there 0 info on what the [edited]is happening to the servers? When will the game be playable?

    Of course, but would it not be an improvement? It'd still prevent people of questionable skill to get carried into higher ranks, and help people progress without having to rely entirely on their teammates. You're also saying that as if the current system didn't incentivize selfishness too. I wouldn't ever have been able to rank out in the previous seasons if I didn't put myself ahead of the team. They clearly value base exp as "your worth in the match", so given that, I can't see any other solutions to this problem. I don't give a damn about what world of tanks tested, that's a different game.

    It's not afk people that are the biggest problem, some teams I've had this season were outright counter productive. I've had teammates torping me/pushing me out of my cover in almost every 3rd game. I crap you not I'd have been better off with afks. I also had this gem of a game where I killed the entire enemy team, the last one by ramming (since I had barely any HP left, vs a full HP P. E. Friedrich), and still lost because they had a slight points lead, thanks WG, they totally deserved that star. This star system is in a dire need of reworking, like give the best player on the losing team a star (if he gets like 1.3k base exp), the best player on the winning team 2, and don't give the bottom 2 guys on the winning team one unless they break 900 base exp, and voilá, you have a system where people can't progress unless they actually contribute to the matches, and individual skill is still rewarded even if your team is absolute garbage. Thank god this isn't a full season, I was already considering suicide by rank 3.
  5. Removing the ability to control the ship when you have a (not returning) squadron in the air seems questionable, and I doubt that it improves gameplay in any way. With this, unpredictable plays from your teammates and enemies will result in a loss of your damage output (because you have to return your planes first in order to change course), and more importantly a loss of survivability as you can't react to a threat as quickly as you could before. Why not let the man set a different autopath course for the carrier while flying? Is the captain on a plane as well? Can the planes not find the carrier if it moves? I don't quite get it Again, I don't see a benefit here either way, just something purely frustrating Otherwise it seems interesting. Do call me out if I'm wrong though

    Balance changes

    I think the stealthfire removal simply makes some ships almost unplayable. Take the akizuki for example, it's slow, big, and the only things really going for it are the guns and the ability to stealthfire. And even that is easily countered by a scouting enemy destroyer. Stealthfiring is only a problem if your team doesn't spot properly or you decide to solo cap in a battleship, under normal circumstances it's not really breaking the game. Of course, there are some examples where you can abuse it, like camping in the back with Zao for instance, but again, most of the time if you don't have an enemy scouting within 16kms of you, then the enemy might already be doing something wrong. The thing with stealthfiring cruisers is that most ships already have a lower detectability than the minimum range at which those cruisers can stealthfire, so if we strictly take 1v1 situations, it does not really provide an advantage, unlike in destroyer vs battleship fights. I feel like the only good thing about this is that german dds might be a bit less crap now. I still think however that the change will yet again make battleships stronger, while nerfing almost everything else. I suppose it's time I'd rebuy my russian dds.

    0.5.12 Update - Economy Changes Explained

    Well, it sounds nice, but after I hopped in my Zao, did around 110k damage, died defending a point, team won, the maintenance cost was still above 300k, meaning I lost 151k credits from a game I helped win. I don't have premium atm, but with it I still would've lost quite a lot of credits. Is this an issue? Am I supposed to still play like the other Zaos that when get spotted run away until they can stealthfire? Because honestly, I enjoy being aggressive in it, but after every second match in it I have to play a game with my Atago so I don't go completely broke. This crap is ridiculous. Edit: I also got quite a low amount of average exp despite that a lot of the damage was done to destroyers

    I see, thanks for the help guys! Yes, last season was pretty nice with the Fuso, you just can't go wrong with that many guns. Molotov still seems like an interesting little ship. I'll just go and discuss this with my wallet.

    I'm not sure if I should get this baby or the Warspite. Which one do you guys think is better against people with a higher skill than your average random battle fellow? I'm in dire need of a solid tier 6 ship, considering ranked season 4 is on the horizon. (still can't believe I can't use my Amagi nor my Atago this time )
