Habe etwas gefunden. Danke

...especially since the second one is a premade kit. Pointed that out already in the submissions thread, but got lost probably. But anyways, the contest was good fun. Liked it very much. Congrats to all winners

be cautious with your blames....It's much harder to scale a 3d model down and develop a folding plan from it than you think (not just assembling). Even though, i'm not sure if there are so many 3d build models in here. For my part, i measured on a 1/700 plastic model of the Z37 and transferred it to Inkscape, so really created the parts (btw regarding the "special" tools: www.inkscape.org, it's open source). So just because some of us made our live easier through using some tools it doesn't mean that there was less work than you had with pencil and ruler (i spend around 20 days, too). The real thing that should bother us are guys like the Aurora dude who takes a pre cut kit, build it badly and then wants to take part in the contest (one can easily see if that's the case).

To the guy with the Aurora: Took me about 5 minutes of Google: http://papermodeling.net/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=267&search=150 Same scale, same lettering. Also you would have printed the WoWS Logo directly on the stand and not glued it on. You also wouldn't have numbered the frames and everything. The numbering of the mounting points is also too professional for an unique. And if you still think i'm wrong, i would like to see your schematics (as they are computer generated, you surely still have them, haven't you?) Just my 5 cents...

Haven't use a 3D program either. just Inkscape, which is a 2d vector graphics program.

Proudly presenting my entry for the contest, In-game name: MS_Seegurke German Heavy Destroyer Type 1936a: Z37 1/460 This powerful heavy destroyer entered service in 1942 and quit service 1944 after a collision with another destroyer. It has very powerful 150mm guns mounted in a twin turret and three single turrets. This large caliber was very unusual for a destroyer. If german destroyers will come to the game one day, this class will be nearly unavoidable as a high tier ship. I documented the building process to proof that i made it entirely on my own and just out of paper, see here: http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234993387-scratchbuilding-a-1936a-class-destroyer-from-cardboard/ Enough the talk, here are the pictures: I usually model with plastics, so this was a new experience for me. Very hard to do, but at the same time one has much possibilities (though i won't recommend going for a smaller scale). May the best win!
