Maybe create a program where veterans can sign up to be a mentor to new players. So newbies have someone to ask their questions to. Maybe wit a big fat "i" button in port. (Obviously they can ask the forum but I think that about 0.01% of new players actually visits the forums when they start playing.) Why would veterans do this? Create a small reward for doing it. Maybe flags, camos, credits, coals, etc. If it's prone to abuse make it so that the system that asigns veterans to newbies is random. Or that the reward of the veteran depends on the opinion from the newbie if the help was useful or not. #showerthoughts -

My theories on these players are that they arent interested in playing a multiplayer game with others. They play randoms because it gives them more xp per battle than any coop battle would. They're probably playing to unwind after a long day, or to collect as many ships as possible, or because they like the cinematic aspect of wows. It could be anything. I understand the mindset but I do not share it because I cant play a game just for fun. Maybe when I'm playing tictactoe with my little nephew but when I'm playing a computer game I want to understand how it works, how I can get good at it and how I can win. How to get them more engaged? Exponentially increase the rewards as you gain more xp. Like a multiplier. Want to get X3 credits and commander xp? Get yourself 2000 base xp. Oh you only got 500 base because you yolo'ed and died after 3 minutes? Here, have X0,1 credits and commander xp. Make it clear to all players that playing for the team aka getting good yields more rewards than spamming games.- 295 replies

Depends on the situation. At the start of the game it would be nice for your teammates as well as yourself to have more information than that single enemy ship but if you're certain that is the only enemy ship on your flank then ofcourse keep him spotted. -
So....if I encounter CVs in more than 2 % of hightier games I'm unlucky?

I could fill up the whole "carry harder thread" with my games. It is insane how many games are lost simply due to having more "hurr durr im rushing in after two minutes and i am dead but i had fun" potatoes. So sick of it. If you dont know how to play just stay in coop or stay in tier 2.
