Funny isn't it? You never see threads like "I played like trash this month and got a 55%wr. MM is rigged in my favor." Nor do I ever see threads like: "I usually have a 70% winrate, but this month only 60%. MM is rigged against me." Why is it always people who have a winrate that reflects their poor performance over a period of time who complain about the results? You don't get a positive winrate if you don't play to a certain standard. If you are on a losing streak don't push it, because either its not your day or you're not playing your natural game. If you win 90% of your games it's your amazing gaming skills and if you lose 90% of your games it is the evil companies who want your money. Classic.

I haven't played it a lot yet but the matches I played I felt underwhelmed. Partially due to the ship being hyped up by the community because of its ridiculous HE Dpm (on paper!!!). In reality tho... Imagine having an Atlanta without IFHE. That's what the colbert feels like. You have insane RoF but your effective damage output is nowhere near that of a worcester for example. Kremlin, Yamato and GK just laugh in my face while I sprinkle them with tiny 127mm shells. Bounce, shatter, bounce, shatter... Etc. If you have to kill a T10 bb by lighting it on fire you're gonna have a bad time. Unlike smolensk you cannot smoke up everywhere you want. So positioning is really important. Sadly, you can't openwater gunboat because of your paper-thin armor. If a BB looks at you funny you lose 50%-80% of your HP. The floaty shells arcs enable you to shoot over islands but it's very hard to hit targets beyond 14km. She is still very new to me so I have to play a bit more to familiarise myself with all her characteristics. But from what Ive experienced so far..... Mehh. I rate 5/10. I get more out of every other T10 CA. Smolensk outperforms her in dpm output and worcester beats her in utility. And now back to my cocktail on the beach. Have a nice day all! o7

Not to forget: colbert 127mm vs smolensk 130mm, might seem like a minor difference but it makes a lot of difference.

imo the easiest way to achieve that goal is make simple missions for those specific tiers. But yeah its WG we are talking about....

There is nothing wrong with playing for fun. In the end we are all playing for fun. Just like you, I play multiple tiers and multiple ships besides tier 10 because i like those ships. Quote me where i stated that i need to grind to have fun. You just pulled this one out of your *ss. Some people have nothing left to grind for. Hence the NTC is a good option for them to incentivise them to start a new grind with a reward. Obviously new players, players that do not play that much and players who dont like tier ten will not use the NTC that much. That does not make it a bad idea.

T8 cruisers are too weak to deal well with a T8 DD 1v1. - Akizuki just straight up out dpms it. - Kiev is hard to hit at full speed and has a heal. Besides these ships cant get erased by the BB that easy. All cruisers can lose 50-100% of their hp if the bb looks at them funny. Furthermore a DD heavy setup is way more flexibel during the battle than a cruiser heavy setup. Faster and more agile ships mean you can react to a heavy push from the enemies in quicker. That is why all top clans play heavy DD setups.

The big difference is that NTC included combat buffs to ships which would break the game. Research bureau doesnt.

But that is the thing: When you lose you blame MM monitor because your team is bad. If you dont use that, you start to look to yourself. "What could I have done better of differently that would have made a difference in the outcome?" If you start to have that mentality you will improve as a player. Otherwise you're stuck in a neverending cycle of blaming everything around you for your own mistakes.

Smolensk will be coal i believe, tier 10 alaska isnt anounced yet for which currency. Guess NTC will focus high tier for now but maybe lower tiers in the future, also not annoucned yet.
