Funny. Never posts on the forum, asking for advice/tips/tricks/etc. But apparently does spend hundreds of euros on a game he evidently sucks at. Only to starts of his forum account by ranting and stating he will quit. Fascinating human behavior if you ask me.

If there wasnt RNG in the game, unicums would D O M I N A T E each engagement. So yes, it does. But it is a necessary "evil" to make sure all players get their dopamine rush. Even the uber-potato ones.

So you mean it stimulated people to play in divisions? Isnt this a good thing? I don't get all the fuss honestly. Sure, you met some purple clan 9 man divs and got stomped in 3 mins. But we played a lot of games with 5-6-7 man division alongside randoms and it was very fun. Even invited randoms into our division after games. When you didnt take it as seriously it was super fun, even gainst obviously superior opposition. The rewards are pitiful anyway, so that shouldnt be a reason to play.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... by making it easier to retain your stars in bronze it has just become even easier for plebs to get into silver and thus into gold where they can turbo farm their way to all the gold rewards with 10% wr's. For the love of Poseidon: MAKE IT SO THAT PEOPLE CAN DROP OUT OF LEAGUES.

I wish these accounts were exceptions but unfortunately they are the norm of supership players. Call me elitist but these kind of accounts shouldnt be playing tier ten. When I see people use the word cowards in this game for anything other than CVs, i just die of cringe. Yes, very cowardly to sail around with the least amount of hp, scouting for your team, capping caps, and being susceptible to plane/radar spotting most of the time if you dont AFK on the 1/10 line. Is it also cowardly to use islands to block line of sight and deal free damage? Or should you *checks notes* "charge out in plain sight and fight like a man!"?.

Honestly, in randoms... there is no insurance policy. Randoms is litteraly a farming environment where people farm their xp and credits. Some care about winning, most don't. So its best to abuse this to your advantage and farm as many enemies as you can. Stay alive. Do damage. Give you both the most xp/credits and probably the best Winratio you can manage. Trying to get any sort of teamwork going with randoms is just wasted time and a cause of frustration.

When i see people making general statements like this i get this uneasy feeling that the underlying issue is between the monitor and the chair. As someone with about four times your battlecount: Caps in this game arent nearly as important as most players make them out to be. Teammates will ping you and call you names just because you dont rush forward in your radar cruiser or DD to cap. That is often a fatal error, especially in randoms where teamsupport is questionable at best. The most important elements to WIN games in WoWs are: Information and positioning. Enemy team takes all caps and gets a point lead? Thats fine. As long as your teams keeps them spotted and positions themselves better, you have a good chance to still win. Caps can be recapped but ships cannot respawn. Besides, games can flip reeeeeeaaaally fast with only a few kills.

That is the catch. It requires the entire team to play aggressive. How many times does that happen in random games? Almost never.

Arent there already stun mechanics in WoT? If so, its 100% guaranteed coming to wows as well at some point.

On a related note: The "pittadel" is also a thing. Shoot at a target for multiple salvoes, no cits. Target gets to about 5% hp. Citadel kill shot. Sure game, sure.

100%. It goes the other way around too: an enemy player shoots at me and completely misses only for this one stray shell to magically citadel me. Check his profile after the game: 43% wr. And how many times have you seen squishy cruisers reverse from an island only for your salvo to completely land around him? Check profile: Complete noob.

Where else should the answers have been gathered other than the forum, reddit, discord, facebook and twitter? Or are we missing a platform where this mysterious silent majority isnt a part of? Every platform has players from all layers. The various polls are almost without exception similar in outcome. But you and your colleagues keep implying the answers are from a loud minority instead of a reflection of the entire playerbase. Quite rude and disrespectful if you ask me.

it happens when CVs or special ships/subs have sat in the queue for 5+mins. Then the MM scrambles whatever they can find, resulting in weird match ups.
