winrate - absurd and no logic in it

I am not familiar with these mods, so i cant sorry. Sure, knock yourself out: http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/shipstatswk/svr/eu/ship_20201114.html The AL Yamato's and Belfast's winrates proof what? That non-cosmetic mods increase winrate?

    Manoeuvrability of ships

No, otherwise it wouldnt be fun to play. Arcadegame -> Gameplay <-> Realism <- Simulator

    General CV related discussions.

We do not know if they are oblivious because most of the playerbase isnt as invested and will sadly never visit the forum or any other form of platform. But perhaps you are right. Although most of the playerbase falls into the 45%-52% wr category, even they can form ideas of gamebalance/enjoyment. Unfortunately we will never know. Yeah, that was obvious to me from the very first notion of a cv rework. :)

winrate - absurd and no logic in it

Doesnt really matter, since all that would show is less outliers but the distribution would be the same.

    General CV related discussions.

CVs can wait for ever to get into a match with only hallands/frieslands/kidds probably. Less % than the ones who will opt out of cv battles since we do not have a 205 page long thread about DDs, CAs nor bbs. Ofcourse it won't solve anything but if it was only implemented for a week it would once and for all show how the ENTIRE playerbase thinks about cvs and not just the "vocal minority on the forums/reddit etc.".

winrate - absurd and no logic in it

Whats with all the insults you throw left right and centre? Funny that you call those clans and players nolifers while at the same time you give weight to your opinion by measure of games played. Hypocrite much? So, who is the "best" player here? Mister super unicum PR?

winrate - absurd and no logic in it

Repeating PR on itself has meaning doesn't make it right. But you believe what you want to believe. No need to call others brainless my friend. My advice: ask some topclans if they recruit players solely on PR because "it covers all statistics".... Or even better, send the guy behind wows-numbers.com a message and ask him how meaningful PR is.

    Alaska advice please!

@DerpyMcDoom Glancing at the leaderboards, I'd say ask @VeryHonarbrah for advice as he is a very proficient Alaska player.

winrate - absurd and no logic in it

Because you're a good player it may seem that way. But other players might experience this totally different whilst playing at night. I am not saying you are wrong, because i experienced the same when i used to play late at night, but the point is that its not a fact that the players are on average better at night. ;) PR is merely a statistic to show how your performance relates to the rest of the playerbase. PR on its own says nothing about a players' skill. For example, is a guy with 10k pr because he just plays V-25 5 times better than a guy with 2k pr who solely plays stalingrad?

winrate - absurd and no logic in it

Less glue eaters means tougher opposition, means less high winrate. And by the way, who says there are less glue sniffers online at night? You? Maybe in absolute numbers, but then so are the skilled players. So you're still left with a same % distribution of player WRs. That is why you look at solo winrate.... More important: PR, WR, damage, etc. are all meaningless on their own. But combined they paint a pretty accurate picture about a players' skill.

Tier 10 has absolutely no fun anymore

@mirceasml What do you want/expect out of this thread? That everyone here says "Oh gosh, you're completely right and HE is overpowered, cruisers are overpowered, dds are overpowered and cvs are overpowered. Better nerf them, hooray battleships!" If you have trouble dealing with the aforementioned "issues" why dont you send a message to one of the top BB players of the server and ask him how he deals with these issues. Because now it comes across as a rant based on perceived imbalance due to incompetence and a lack of experience. As a battleship, HE/fires/hidden cruisers/dds/CVs are all problems that can be dealt with. But it requires effort and an open mind towards constructive criticism. ps. Please stop referring to realism in discussions about this game. There is nothing realistic about this game. Ships that never existed, HP bars, infinite ammo, repair parties, fire durations, sailing speeds, turning circles, etc. etc.etc. This is not a naval warfare simulator. Its about as realistic as Call of Duty is a "combat simulator".

Tier 10 has absolutely no fun anymore

Sniff sniff. I smell a BBaby. Historically bbs got raped by cvs without ever seeing them. Besides bbs had way more range than any other ship type. Realism? Aye lmao, this is an arcade game my friend. CVs hold aces against any shiptype except their own. This always has been and always will be. If you can't deal with it, just quit.

winrate - absurd and no logic in it

Please tell me how to increase winrate with stacking mod packs. Right now this is a claim without proof. As is playing at night. As is whaling. Those things do not influence wr whatsoever. Non cheating mm? I'm assuming you're meaning no divisions, mister division hater? Not if you look at solo winrate, such as in ranked. And quite frankly I've seen you many times in ranked, more often than not you played abysmally and blamed the team. This is a statistical outlier. Ask El2 how many times he lost ten games in a row. Probably never. So don't claim it is the norm.... It's not. "Skill" winrate? You mean damage farm from the back while your team dies-winrate? It's stupid. Do you want people to camp and spam he? Because this is how you get people to camp and spam he. Just look at @DFens_666s thread in @159Hunter's post above. Is that player "skilled"? No, he is abysmal. Yet he is first of the team.

He has the right to question why people feel the need to buy such things though. Now, combining such a question with stats might come across as saying "you shouldn't be able to have X because I don't think you're good enough for it", but it is an undeniable double edged sword Wargaming created yet again. While on one side they created a new source of revenue to keep the game going, at the other side they undeniably decrease the average level of experience in higher tiers in the long run. The stats we currently see for ARP Yamato vs other TX BBs are, besides meaningless due to so few games/players, inflated. Firstly, only few people are willing to spend so much money on a single ship and are probably already heavily invested into this game one way or another, and secondly, mostly skilled veterans from CST clans have the doubloons necessary to outright buy the ship without spending cash. So with such a low player count it is more than likely that within the group arp Yama owners reside quite some top 10% Yamato players who had nothing to spend their dubloons on anymore. Now to the question if its a bad thing that WG sells this ship. In my opinion it is not since it is marketed to a niche audience within a niche audience, therefore not affecting the overall gameplay all that much. But it's more about this being yet another barrier broken in the ever increasing monetization of the game. When we have one buyable TX (I know you can kinda buy others by converting free xp) there will surely be more. That foresight worries me. And what will be next? Gold ammo like in wot? Coal and steel for sale? TX carriers for sale? The word "never" apparently has a different meaning at wargaming headquarters. Remember? Never will there be subs. Never will there be TX premiums. Nothing would surprise me anymore really. After the first proposed iteration of the Research Bureau it is clear that Wargaming are just testing how far they can go with the monetization, each time pushing a little bit further. It's a shame, the way they milk the existing playerbase at the expense of gameplay quality. I am sure there are other ways to go about this that would make a lot of money without pushing novice players towards high tiers.

To push a cap or not?

If you can always take the kiting/defensive position, because then you will always have an advantage over the pushing enemies, even if they outnumber you. Just FYI, we won this game....
