More clueless people means more wallet warriors trying to Pay2win, which means more €€€€ for wargaming. Keeping the playerbase as clueless as possible is sadly beneficial to wargaming and therefore any sort of improvement is at the very least highly unlikely.

@Lantirn Do you still have the replay? Because giving advice based on a few screenshots is tricky business. But nonetheless, as a bb I would always try to support the caps at first. Tanking damage, being a presence, scare enemies away so that my DDs can cap. Then afterwards, heal up and move to a position where I can prevent or stall an enemy push. Especially due to speedboost, the Georgia is an excellent ship to do this. At the start of the game I'd stay around the 1 area, supporting my Buffalo and DDs. (It's actually amazing that your team hasn't secured a cap yet, considering the enemies have no radarships.) Once you see the heavy ships flanking on the 10 line, you stay aware of this. Watch where they are going. They either push straight into the cap or, more likely, push all the way around. Luckily for you, that will take them a while, which gives you time to reposition to area 2. This means they either push into a nasty crossfire between your guns and friendly torps, or they stop/turn around.

This has been bothering me for a while now and I've heard many other players complain about it as well: Why isn't there an option to disable the auto-purchase of flags for doubloons for ALL ships in one click? Now I lose doubloons quite often because I do not check every ship before every game. It is quite annoying. Sure you can check every ship before you press 'battle', but in reality that doesn't happen all the time.

As a CB enthousiast with a lot of spare time due to Covid, this sums up how I feel about the current state op CBs: Rather walk barefoot through a bunch of lego's than play this dumpster fire iteration with cyclones and CVs.

Why play so cautious when youre one of the fastest bbs and youre full hp? You can use the islands to break line of sight while doing a turn, or to break line of sight with an enemy to prevent a 2 on 1 situation. But overall, 11k dmg and 300k potential damage after 10 mins.... Yikes man. Waaaaaaay too passive.

Although i understand, I hope they don't. A lot of people on EU don't like the late hours either. Advantages of the many > advantages of the few.

There is a flood of BB captains who yolo and repair the first fire. It is basically childsplay to farm witherers these days. Just look for an obvious potato BB who is going to push right from the beginning. Shoot HE, let him repair, shoot more HE = witherer + arsonist. The amount of really bad players means that farming them isnt even a challenge anymore. They basically gift you their full hp ships on a silver plate. This afternoon: 5 donskoi games, 2 arsonists.

No, I am asking for a change of this mechanic but I am expecting mental gymnastics and justification. ;) Why after all those years? Because I am not in abundance of doubloons on my second account and it annoys me that i lose them to silly things like this.

I know, but I like to hear with what kind of PR-speak they justify this "feature".

@Execute0rder66 Players can do that for themselves. Let's say I am a beginner and i post a thread on this forum with a question regarding gamemechanics or what to do in a specific situation. In that thread a number of people will give their reaction and/or opinion. Now I can listen to the guy with 1000 games + 45% wr and follow his advice, or I can follow the advice of some dude with 15k battles and 65% wr. But that is completely up to me. Nothing elitist about it.

I loved RTS cvs because even IF you had CVs in your game, chances were they wouldnt be that good anyway. The very few times I faced a SU CV player you would just get it over with asap and go back to business as usual. Now you hope every game that the CV simply doesnt chose you as their prime target. If they do, you hope theyre not good. But even if theyre not good, theyre either going to kill you or atleast make your game miserable. So yeah, broken or not: I'd rather have my behind kicked by a skilled RTS CV player 1 in every 50 games than being annoyed to death almost every other game by an average joe who goes hurr durr planes go brrrrrrrr.

Same with any other DD/light cruiser really.
