I evaded the dead eye infested randoms by playing loads of ranked. Sure, there are bbs in ranked as well but often not more than three per side. Which makes positioning against them easier than in randoms. Besides, nobody expects a mino to carry radar. The avg kills show how much DDs I annihilated at the start of many battles. Get spotted, radar, dd panic turns, eats two or three full mino salvos, ded. GG EZ.

Mostly yes, since players like you presumably make up 5% or less of the entire playerbase. I rarely see any players in my contacts list online in those hours anyway. Ofcourse this sucks for you personally, i can understand.

@Redcap375 I love this Ranked system. You can basically consider them same tier randoms with less players. I don't suffer the fear or missing out as I did with the old ranked system. Back then I felt I needed to reach R1 to keep up with the steel income so I really felt pressured by the time gating of ranked. But now you can play super casual, basically every day all year round. Missed a week? Don't worry, next week another chance. I only wish that players could drop down a league after a string of losses. Because after three or four weeks the game spamming apes have reached gold and they're there to stay. Gold should be for the skilled, not for the spammers.

Since you have experience as an FC in cbs: wouldn't you agree that it is way easier leading players of a certain skill-level compared to lesser skilled players? The more skilled players are, the less micro managing they need, the easier it becomes for the FC to focus on the bigger picture.

Besides the whole point of stats and mindset: if you play a team game and your only goal is to "yolo in and farm some potential damage because the campaign says I needs to" then to me this is peak toxicity and selfishness. Farm your potential damage, or practice your yolo tactics in coop where you don't bother the 23 other players who MIGHT not share the same mindset. It is the "everybody has the right to play as they please" that bothers me a lot. If wargaming would ban all these players to just coop this game would become infinitely better and those banned could hardly tell the difference anyway.

Let me answer that for you: No they would not. You can paint a turd gold but it's still a turd.

I know but since you mentioned ELO more than once: at this point cbs are the closest thing to an ELO system we have since that is the only league where simply spamming games doesn't bring you higher up the ranks.

How do look at players competing in clanbattles and reaching the top league in that? Hurricane league. A clan can only reach hurricane level if they play at a certain level.

@Lemasive regarding your anology with the Sunday league footballer vs premier league footballer: there is no league in this game as you know. So the premier league level player plays together with the Sunday league player. The only thing that sets these players apart from each other is their performance, which reflects their mindset, skillset and toolset. The premier league player who scores a hundred goals over the season is statistically better than the average Joe'swho score just once. Despite his advantage in equipment, training, mindset, etc. Etc. He would simply be a more skilled player. And it shows. Even if you turn things around: let the average Joe have all the equipment, mindset, training then the premier league player would still outscore him by a country mile. That is skill. It works the same in this game. Regarding to a players' mindset and available toolset determining a players' result: yes they contribute to your results but only partially. It's easier to carry in a fully decked out shop with a 21pt captain. Yes, the average Joe doesn't care as much about a good game as the try hard. But that doesn't mean that the results all these players have over the course of thousands of battles do not paint a pretty accurate picture about a player. Ps. An ELO system would be great because it would finally be a way to let all these self proclaimed experts with 45% wr know how bad they really are.

You can freely respec until Feb 18th. So once you get familiar with them speccing before a match should take just a few seconds.

Maybe tier 8 ranked is above your skill level after just 200 games played.... You need to learn how to walk before you are able to run, my friend. At 200 games played you should be at tier 3, learning the basics of the game. Not sailing T8 ships into a semi-competitive environment. Right now you're simply a liability for every team youre on because you lack understanding of game mechanics and experience.

No concealment expert and no PT on US CA? Those are no brainers for me. And you have picked IFHE (if I remember correctly, I'm not 100% sure)? Not worth it imo.

Assumption? I did not make any assumption. This is litteraly a bbs role. You can disagree with it, that is fine. But every top bb player will tell you the same thing. It all comes down to battle influence. You can snipe and do lots of damage every game with an abysmal winrate because your cruisers have to tank damage with armor and hp that they do not have, or you can take some hits for the team. Your choice. Ps. Please don't put words in my mouth. Quote me where I say that "every bb must play the same".

Fulfilling your role also means being a deterrent presence for the enemy team and tanking damage for your team. When you sit sniping in the back *but muhhhhh dead eye* you neglect both these aspects of a bbs job. Then im not surprised people report you.
