Why did you play 900 games before maybe asking more experienced players: "Hey guys, what is happening? I am getting blown out of the water by ships I cant see. What am I doing wrong?" But that would take some self reflection and -criticism and something tells me OP lacks in that department.

I hope it will be like you say but with WG's trackrecord in mind: I doubt they will make rewards "easier".

for example: first ranked season you could win 100 steel each week. Second ranked season you can win 200 steel every 2 weeks. So per ratio the same, but when you read that they increased stars needed by 1.5......................... it basically means more grind for the same rewards. As in typical WG fashion, dare I say.

I use IFA on my Zao and find it very useful since you cannot afford to take big hits. Just hit the breaks and turn whenever a Deadeye sniper shoots at you for easy potential damage.

And even though the effect isn't as big as many people make it out to be, it's still a bad effect. We see more sniper-bbs in random games, especially in higher tiers. We see less cruisers in randoms, again especially in higher tiers. I don't understand why it wasnt implemented the other way around in the first place. The closer you are to the enemy, the more accurate you become it would make more sense imo.

No, because that would be exploitable: you could avoid coming up against tier ten when picking tier eight ships by using a tier seven "anchor". This would mean solo tier eight players face tier ten more often as they have to "fill the gaps" left by those mentioned before. That would create an imbalance between off-tiered divisions and single tier divisions as well as solo players, since they objectively face tougher opposition.

It is the interplay between classes and your ability to read, predict and anticipate on the match flow that determines your influence on the match outcome. For example: In a hindenburg you cant "chase" DDs, so you focus on what you do best: Farming down BBs and heavy CAs. That way you influence the match at the best of your ability. That is basically all you can do. The same goes for a Thunderer: You cant directly fight with DDs, so you focus on killing their counters, Radar cruisers. That way you influence the match at best of your ability.
