Wargaming and doing things randomly. Are you new?

Stop being selfish and think about other players' enjoyment for a second. For once wargaming does something most of us can get behind. Boohoo you can't play your favorite ship in clanbattles for two weeks. Well, cv mains can't play for the entire season... Just pick another ship and stop QQing. If this ban system turns out to be refreshingly enjoyable for the majority of the cb players, I'd say: sucks to be you.

You have to earn it. It isnt given.

May we have this quality of life improvement?

FDR is boring after a few matches. Very one dimensional CV: Bomb the sh!t out of BBs. Stalingrad suffers a bit after the latest updates and in this meta. Its fires have long duration and no more fire prevention. Good luck fighting atleast 2 thunderers every match. Bourgogne is very fun as a -speedboost-mini-BB. I'd suggest Bourgogne.

Trojan horses have invaded us boys! Run!

I voted for "I only really tryhard in cvs" but the "my other classes are old stats" is also a good one indeed.

iChase you felt a need to respond to Flamuu, as do I to you

Who would have guessed that, right? -
My only aim in this game is to grind for detonation flags. Cvs are indeed the weakest class. LOL

WHO HAD RADAR!?!?!?!?
-
See below. I'm not going to post it here because it would probably be statshaming. But let's say I'm not surprised of what I am seeing. You know... Between choosing to listen to the opinion of top players from all servers, such as Gaishu and El2aZeR (who frankly also play other classes at the highest level as well as competetive), and some nobody random players who's only accomplishment is being a unicum in CV's, I'm pretty sure who to listen to if I want to hear an unbiased opinion.

Ofcourse I know. Yet you forget one pivotal aspect: In the hobbies and professions you mention the people practicing are actually interested in getting better at it for various reasons yet that is very much not the case in wows. Most players don't give a flying f**k that they do not improve because the game rewards them regardless. They die each game as the first ship, yet it gives them xp and credits after each game. So why improve right? They probably make more xp/hour than I do, simply by using their yolo-die-nextgame-tactic. So yes, in most professions and hobbies people get better after thousands of hours yet in wows you see players with tens of thousands of tier ten games ask if the Zao has radar.

Above are the winrates of the players with the most played random games. All 40.000 games or more. Now tell me again how time invested equals skill?

*I'm dumb, didn't realise OP was talking about ITA BBs* 1) yes, and upper belt. And aft and stern. Take into account damage saturation tho, as sap dmg yield deminishes greatly when saturation kicks in. 2) SAP hurts destroyers especially hard, yes. Ofcourse not "more" per shell as that is impossible. But DDs can't bounce it as easy due to their thin armor. 3) light cruisers yes, heavy cruisers yes, battle cruisers (such as stalingrad) probably have too thick armor to pen with sap. But I'm not a numbers guy so you'd have to check in training room. My experience with sap however is that it's pretty much the go-to ammo on ITA cruisers.

Was playing against a known player from a topclan the other day. After the battle went to check if he was streaming and he was. So I was curious to see the battle from his side. He didn't know me, but apparently he used matchmaking monitor as he singled me out as "that player needs to be eliminated asap". So as soon as I was spotted across the map he tried to kill me. It was at that moment that I realised that having your stats hidden is a huge benefit to your own survival. Players will go out of their way to focus you down if you're above average.

Recommend me Build for Minotaur (British Light Cruisers)
GarrusBrutus replied to DaBung's topic in General Discussion
I enjoyed the faster torp reload thingy as well. Since you use them quite often. Also, I used to take radio location but been running without it for a while now. It seems you catch more people without it, because as opponents aren't seeing the "located" icon they play more reckless. -
You have 40k games so with that amount of experience this must be true.
-
Dd is more important. In competetive without cvs, often the team with the best vision wins. That means a fight for map control. A role that is best suited for a DD. Especially in tier 9 where cruisers are arguably the weakest class and where you have a wide range of very good DDs. I know bb mains don't like to hear this, but their class fills more of a support role and as a deterrent for the enemy ships.

My experience with trying to help lesser experienced players in this game: "Grandpa it helps if y-.." "Shut your mouth, you elitist little ****! I play for fun." -
Which one? None of them are entertaining imo.

Ah you're one of those people who believe a cvs strikeplanes equal surface ships' hp pools?
