Indeed. It's easier to carry semi-competent players than complete mouthbreathers due to the design of the game: points reduction after a death, no respawn and map vision through friendlies. If one or two mouthbreathers yolo and die early they give their team a massive disadvantage, whereas semi competent players tend to live longer, which gives a competetent player more time to turn the game in the teams favor. This was my silver league ranked session yesterday. Amazingly enough I actually made quite good progress. But you can imagine how mentally drained I felt.

Luckily for me I wipe my browser history every day...

Because the event has stopped and you could spend those points until yesterday.

Been there, done that. It is not worth it. You're just stuck in a neverending cycle. Just pick the things you enjoy most and don't bother about all other events/grinds. Saves you a lot of headache. Btw: 99% of the players are casuals who enjoy a wide range of modes/events to choose from. Im one of them.

And you have to participate in all of these events.....why exactly? Nobody forces you to do so.

Correct. That is why you increasing numbers of players with less than 20k average damage on Tier 10. Quite baffling if you ask me. But its a direct consequence of the direction WG is taking with the game: Push players to high tiers as soon as possible by making them spend as much as possible.

I have a disabled brother with down syndrome so I'm quite well aware thank you. For example I'm not letting him play with my football team despite him wanting to. It wouldn't be fun for my team nor the opponents. There are endless possibilities for him to have fun and not feel excluded. He has way more fun playing with similar skilled players in the handicapped team.

So considering the other participants' fun is now considered being selfish... Okay, nice mental gymnastics. The fact that you can, doesn't mean you should participate.

So his fun at the expense of all other peoples fun is okay? Kinda selfish view.

Ranked is semi-perminent 7v7 with 1 tier spread. Just get to Gold.
