    WHY?

which is inherently false. Starsaving has nothing to do with your own hp pool but with your dmg output. Since BBs have higher avg dmg they tend to save their star more often, however DDs have a higher impact on the battle outcome.

    WHY?

So BBs cant save their star because they have a lot of hp? That is not how it works.

    Worst tech tree cruisers t8,9,10

Amalfi and Brindisi just arent working for me. Smoke is a nice gamerturn cover mechanic but also kinda gimmicky. SAP mechanics seem weird and random. Sure you get to blap some pepega DD every once i a while but overall the dmg output is lackluster. T10 i have to say Goliath. Its gimmick is its survivabilty but other than power farming enemies with HE (which HE focused TX cruiser cant?) the Goliath brings zero to the team. I see people mention IJN CAs and US CLs. These ships have very particular roles and when played accordingly they're one of the strongest picks for their respective tier. An IJN cruiser kiting a flank can be devastating. A well placed US CL can wreak havoc among the enemy team. The thing is: They're both unforgiving. Misposition and you're most likely dead.
  4. That someone is nice to you doesnt mean he or she is nice to others. Some people find Gibbins a nice guy, others find him toxic AF.
  5. Buffalo's mistake for trying to be a teamplayer. Should've just camped and farmed damage like the rest of us.
  6. -> "Otherwise, I hardly see anything worse than early star saving (where damage farming often is done by otherwise good players with a mod to show them win probability as well who start "mitigation" from the start of the match)." nice pot and kettle there buddy. Good players often use mods? They often damage farm to save their star? You get steel for wins. Winrate and progress doesnt matter. You can't drop back from any league either so even if you afk hundreds of games in a row you'll get the rewards up until R1 rewards. If you practice the tactic "yolo and die, next match, rinse and repeat" you can pump out hundreds of games per day more in comparison to players who try to actually play the game. Their winrates will be atrocious but in regards to time/rewards, i doubt its way worse. And even if it is worse, the mental burden with this "approach" is probably zero. I'm not advocating elitism, im simply against the abililty to farm rewards by botting as it ruins the game experience for regular players, both good and bad. Both as they arent mutually exclusive. And its ridiculous and almost game breaking that this is even possible but sadly that is how the gamemode is designed with its starsaving and safe ranks. You're missing the point. This whole thing isnt about steel acquisition. Its about ranked being full of leeches who use the aforementioned tactic. Its making ranked unbearable for regular players since it is becoming less and less a test of personal skill but more a lottery whose team contains less leechers.

    Proposed nerfs for RN CL's

Thats because of their high skill floor. The average player will perform better in other ships with better survivabilty. So they're not bad, just difficult to play.

    WHY?

@Fonfalks Dmg is in %. 100% of a DD grants more xp than 70% of a BB. So even if you did 20k (dd from 100 to 0) you can top a teammate who farmed a bb for 90k. Just now I saved my star by killing both enemy DDs while my friendly thunderer had high calibre and three kills. Thats how it always has been and how it always will be. It's fair. TLDR: shoot DDs, get xp.

    Balance the game and ships

That would make sync drops even more easy. Also, I've had matches where the enemies had zero radar and my DDs still got spotted and killed early on. So radar and hydro don't have that much impact on game outcomes. Player skill, or lack off, has.

    Balance the game and ships

... and despite that being obvious, everyone sticks around and keeps buying. Can you blame WG for making money off of all those whales? I'd do the same. This is a game marketed towards rich, old, naval enthousiasts with a gambling habit. They are the biggest cash cows who happen to not give a f*ck about game balance or competetive gameplay.
  11. Sad royal navy heavy cruiser noises

I screwed up and fell for the RESET hype

Good points made by Verblonde. However I feel that the RB is meant as end game content for seasoned players who need to be kept busy regrinding after having reached all silver tier tens. Yet nowadays i see people with RB-ships who have played just over 2000 games. Then i think to myself: Either the RB content is that good that it justifies spending money on, or it makes people blind for all other silver lines by merit of being "speshul ships".
  13. @mdjmcnally its the whole package deal of thunderer that makes it absolutely braindead easy to play and cancer to play against: The accuracy and range of the guns, the manoeuvrability of the ship, the insanely effective HE, the overmatch capabilities of the 457's.... It is in my opinion the easiest ship in the game to get 100k damage in for a 45% wr player. So im glad with every bit of nerfing done to this abomination of a ship. It might not solve the campy meta we have now but its better than nothing.

OMG WG!! ... What Are You Doing?!!!

In the beginning the argument that she was OP was moot because only very good players had her, skewing the stats heavily. But now even the lowest skilled players have a Stalin in their harbor. Yet... Stalingrad still has 55% winrate in the last quarter of the year!!!!! Go check maplesyrup if you do not believe me. And btw: "Hard earned ships"? You mean just playing the game? The days where you have to reach a certain threshold in comp to gain a stalingrad are long gone.

OMG WG!! ... What Are You Doing?!!!

Wargaming has this weird habit of nerfing/buffing the areas of ship that have nothing to do with them over- or underperforming. If Stalin is overperforming, then maaaaaaybe the guns are a bit too stronk?
  16. 20km should be plenty of range if you consider it has better concealment than most cruisers.
  17. Now wouldnt that be nice? Maybe instead of nerfing its range, rather nerf its HE effectiveness so that pepegas who shoot nothing but HE cant rack up insane amounts of damage............................

I screwed up and fell for the RESET hype

Resetting with free xp grants RB points which can also be used for premium ships....

Lol. *Resets line* Omg! It's actually reset to zero! *surprised face* People these days...

    Unsportsmenlike behaviour problem (edited*)

Thats because they're banned. It would be awesome if wargaming told us how many accounts get punished for behavior such as OP described. It happens so often nowadays that it seems to go unpunished.
  21. First: naming and Shaming is forbidden. Second: this stuff is supposed to be handled in pm's. Putting it on a public forum is neither classy nor mature. (yes, so is the message. I get it. But still... )

    QUALIFICATION SO HARD

When you win its because of your own amazing level of play, when you lose its because mm is rigged.
  23. GarrusBrutus

Buff Zao and GK turret angles.

    Just shoot High Effective ammo

    QUALIFICATION SO HARD
