Yeah that's nice being all Ghandi or Mother Theresa-esque all the time but when I get brutally gaped in the downstairs cavity by the enemy CV because ours is sniffing its own behind then I'll call our CV nasty things. And I really don't care if that makes me toxic. The level of peace and love would dramatically increase and the amount of insults dramatically decrease if the lowest half of the playerbase (on the skill-level) would learn the absolute basic game mechanics and tactics. But I'm probably just being elitist in saying so. *edit

Just remove the whole wait thingy. If someone wants to wait 30 min to get into a match, by all means do it. But if they want to have a quick match, pick another ship and get into a match in 30 sec.

Punished? How? You get better so being uptiered should be less and less of an issue. If by punished you mean you face higher tier ships and boohoo you can't yolo in anymore.... Well. Sucks for you. Go play tier 1 if you want "fair" matches. Ps. +2/-2 means you also get to play against ships two tiers below but what a surprise, I don't hear you about that.

Of all the games I've played this has to be the least toxic game so too bad it happened but it is not that frequent. If it is frequent then maybe you are doing something to trigger it since it doesnt happen to me. And if it does its most of the time someone who is absolutely garbage at the game so I just laught about it.

I make myself go through each ship even if it is a pain. I want to push myself to learn how to play each ship before progressing to its higher tier equivalent. Most of the time I succeed (finally having fun in the Freddy and the izumo) but sometimes the grind is hard and long. Although one ship I'm seriously considering skipping with free xp is the Z23. It just doesn't do anything particularly well. Guns are meh torps are meh, stealth is meh, sure hydro is cool but all in all a very mediocre ship where I find myself at a disadvantage because of its characteristics most of the time.

It's kind of stupid thinking about it. It could be either resource. Remember when ships were either xp or €? Luckily I've got a massive amount of steel, coal and freeXP stored.

Wow you're actually not even worth the time but whatever I've got nothing better to do atm. The way you play is completely selfish, cowardly, and hurting this game. Because your actions hurt your other 11 teammates possibility to win and creates an unfair match for them right from the start. What if everybody did what you did? "Oh, an afk teammate. I quit to port." "oh, two afk players. I quit to port." lol, the match would be over quite soon. And where do you draw the line? Too many tier 10s. You go afk. One tier ten en a lot of tier nines. You go afk. Enemy has one radar more. You go afk. The water is wet. You go afk. The world does not resolve around mister killroy67. Grow up man. You sound like an eight year old crying about how unfair everything is. You pressed the random battle button and then you have the chance that you're faced against ships two tiers higher. Deal with it. But instead you quit. I don't think playing as a tier 8 against tier 10 is such a big deal. You've played all the way up to tier 8 experiencing +2 matchmaking all along the way but now suddenly at tier 8 it is unbearable? Give me a break. A tier 8 can do just as much damage to a tier 10 as a tier 9, given the right opportunity. But if you quit the match before it even started you will never find out. These days I find myself carrying many tier 10 games with my tier 8's. It's doable but if you hate being challenged then... Yeah.... Good luck with your life. If you want to have a fair game go play fortnite kiddo. It's full of like minded people. Let the grownups play their boat game.

Even if they're spotted rather quickly, you sent so many of them down range you're ought to hit some. The closer you get (and the more dangerous you play) the more dmg you will rack up. It's simple risk reward play. If you can ride the line of detection to perfection IJN torp boats are the most deadly hunters out there.

That goes for every ship and isn't exactly Bourgogne-specific. So how does the Bourgogne require more skill than other bbs (or a Stalin) to play right?

I use shift to zoom in and out. I rarely use the scrollwheel because those two modes of vision are the only ones I need. But it's personal preference I guess. As for aiming you can use the enemy ship's smokestacks to see in which direction its moving. But in Nurnberg there is another great atribute you can use: your torpedo system. Select your torpedoes when aiming at a ship to see if it is accelerating or decelerating.

Got a couple from last weeks... Musashi, full hp after 75% of the match on the map border with HP buff. Classic. Lately the "my turret decides to do a 360 no scope through my ship for no appearant reason"-bug has been happeninng to me more and more. WG pls. Obviously when someone shoots predictive torps and you sail into them it is cheating. 4 T10 BBS. THERE IS EVEN A SIGN GUYS. SPECIALLY FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU. These are probably the people who push doors that say "Pull". 5 mins into the game and all four DD's were dead. Why do I even bother?

Managed to become orange and was "sentenced" to 80 coop games. Apparently (was playing coop to grind the snowflakes) setting a waypoint to the centre of the map and then quitting to port isn't enough to prevent the afk penalty. Now do that 10 times in the space of 5 minutes and the penalties start to accumulate. Oops.

Amongst other things such as performance in CW-ships, avg kills, avg dmg, survivability rate and above all 'is he a nice guy to play with and does he play well', yes we use PR as one of the instruments to determine if a player is good enough to join.
