Really? When I look outside of my restaurant I see plenty of other restaurants offering food ... so ... who's forcing you to eat at my place? One could see it that way, yes. But as said above, we don't know what other targets where put out there, that we don't know of. Either way, Barney is probably right about this thread being just a discussion for random things. The rework's here to stay, and I don't see a reason why that should change. Even if this thread piles on to a thousand pages ... because in the end, neither of us (me as the bad cook, or you as the guy who doesn't like pineapple on his pizza) is in charge to change anything.

While that is honorable, that still didn't answer the question? Let's put it this way: If you come accross a design flaw in your mechanics that you designed you have to options: Fixing it, or removing/replacing it? If you then uncover that fixing it would cost you three times the ressources it'd cost you to remove/replace it, what'd you do then? Hol' up. I said it "could it be save? Probably!" What I didn't say (or imply) was how easy it would've been. My guess is, that somebody looked at the investment cost and figured that reworking CV's would cost less than fixing them (probably partially due to selling premium CV's upon rework release). True. But neither of us knows the exact job description they had with CV's. Which, given the amount of feedback (not only on CV's, but in general), would require quite a lot ressources to answer that. Like two or three developer-interaction-managers, that just explain themselves on why they did A over B. That's a huge investment for ZERO monetary return value. But lets assume for a moment that you deem the monetary invest a worthwhile one, even then people would rage. And what likes to explain themselves into every detail? Usually not the successfull ones... Which makes it kinda democratic. If just 500 players voice their concern about a point, why bother? If it's 50.000 ... hey that's more like a majority. Is it? As far as we know it's on the back log. And I'm pretty sure, if WG would put open up their development plan to the public, pretty soon people would rage AMONG EACH other, over what item should be moved forward and what item should be moved backward. So better to not let players dabble too much with the developers plans (in my opinion) and just consume (or don't).

Hmmm so it's not allowed to shift my target when I recognize that I don't want to put up anymore with the work necessary to make me a better baker? Is it so hard to accept, that while the sound advice might've helped (and probably actually would've) simply wasn't what the devs wanted? Could RTS be save? From what I saw, yeah it probably could. But as I said: If I want to make pineapple pizza, I don't need advice on how to make perfect pasta (even if that advice is sound)! And you know, one can appreciate feedback but simlpy value other points of an argument more. That is not ignoring feedback. Although I can see that for the one giving feedback, the result is the same: The feedback is not encorporated.

If I'm terrible at baking these magnificent mirror marble cake, and then decide to simply tone it down and try for a few simple waffles, all I can do with the suggestions on "How to get better at creating magnificent mirror marble cakes" is to say 'Thanks, but I've moved on and no longer bother with mirror marble cakes!'. I mean ... is it so unimaginable, that the devs simply didn't want to be bothered anymore with the RTS?

For those who got GENOVA via the random/"random" 22-part queue, at which place did you get it?
Allied_Winter replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
Soooo there she is ... but I don't complain. It was achievable for free and I got all but one coal packages so far ... so a good ROI. -
Das ist die richtige Einstellung! Danke! Wird erledigt. Thread geschlossen.

Italienische Kreuzer (SAP) - Ein Griff ins Klo WG

Das klingt alles so ..... so balanced :D -
Italienische Kreuzer (SAP) - Ein Griff ins Klo WG

Which ship-missions did you get from the free (non-premium) Italian Cruiser containers?

According to Sub_Oct, WG adjusts the drop rates for each event individually. Although only in small increments! -
Clan Battles Season: Crash Zone Alpha
Allied_Winter replied to The_EURL_Guy's topic in News & Announcements
A little late on the announcement isn't it? Maybe for the next season a bit earlier? Like one or two weeks earlier? Thanks! -

Edit: Also Stand jetzt konnte ich nichts finden.

Italienische Kreuzer (SAP) - Ein Griff ins Klo WG
Allied_Winter replied to Halz's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Jein. Also was die T8 und T9 angeht. Könnte man. Aber bei der Venezia? Nope.

PROPOSAL: Move KÖNIG ALBERT to T5
Allied_Winter replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
Don't get me wrong: Options are there. Plenty! But as said: For one WG burnt their fingers to a crisp with the GC debacle. And giving players a choice (keep the original ship or exchange it for the re-release) could turn out to be a zero-sum game for WG, so I doubt they'd do that either. Anyway: Thought experiments, nothing more. -
PROPOSAL: Move KÖNIG ALBERT to T5
Allied_Winter replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
No. But if you look back at the GC thread (and afterwards discussing with my clan mates who were opposed to the move), it wasn't about battles played. It was simple a principle dicission: "I bought a T5 ship! I want to keep a T5 ship!" It may be different on the outcome. I say maybe because I doubt that a buffed version of the KA would work on T5. Anyway, the process is the same: WG sells an OP ship, sees it's OP wants to move the ship up a tier to get rid of it's OP state. And trust me, by now I know this community quite well: It would be the exact same storm going through the forums. Best case scenario would be (as proposed with the GC): Leave original OP premium as is, bring out new (balanced/uptiered) version. Make new money. BUT: That was already discussed back and forth with the GC and Sub_Oct announced after that, that the message they got from the community was quite clear: Don't touch stuff I bought with money! -
PROPOSAL: Move KÖNIG ALBERT to T5
Allied_Winter replied to 1MajorKoenig's topic in General Discussion
It might be different for you, but a) I doubt that the majority of players would just willy-nilly suddenly accept a premium ship getting uptiered just because it's T3 and b) WG burnt their hands quite thoroughly on the GC disaster... I doubt that they'll launch any attempts whatsoever to rebalance for money sold premium ships via up/down tiering after they're released. The community made it quite clear what they want: Buffs? Yay! Nerfs? Ney! -
Italienische Kreuzer (SAP) - Ein Griff ins Klo WG
Allied_Winter replied to Halz's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
Italienische Kreuzer (SAP) - Ein Griff ins Klo WG
Allied_Winter replied to Halz's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
