As said: Debatable. And in the end that's what this discussion will come down to. Those that like it a different way than presented and those who don't. So? Sure some are bothered by it, but if you read the portal article often enough, you're good. Don't read the portal article? Your loss. Sure it wouldn't. But on the other hand, if all respec is 14 days, WG could basically drop it all together with the clan battle respec and the likes in between. And I highly doubt that that's within their monetazation scheme. So rather than drawing it out to long, make it short and sweet. Which "forces" one to play a clanbattle. What if a player's not in a clan? Or can not field enough players to a clanbattle? You see there's always room for "raising the pitch fork". WG made their decision and sticking with it. Not the decision I would've made, but I can live with the current one as well.

Thread nicht konstruktiv. Ich mach mal zu. -
Yeah ... you're at the mercy of RNG once more.

Nah, you're just back to rolling the RNG dice for extra spicy fire chance. Or bust.

[PÖLL] Do you think 2M FXP is a reasonable price for (T10) ships.
Allied_Winter replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
How so? While in earlier times you only had Papa Papa signals to gather FXP you now have a multitude of sources that can increase/accelerate your FXP gathering process by quite some factor? Just going by feels I'd say it's nowadays easier for a seasoned veteran to gather FXP compared to Missouri times. -

Allied_Winter replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
Never denied that. But why should I spend my FXP on something mediocre? -

Less so. I mean ... give her smoke and maybe a tad better concealment and I'd be fine with her 2 million price tag. -

Allied_Winter replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
I say the price of 2 million is justified for something that IS interesting (Pobeda anyone??), but not for some simple copy pasta bote like the Smalland. Also I'd say it's much easier to gather FXP nowadays than back in "Missouri-is-the-only-FXP-ship-days". -
ST - "European Destroyers. Part 2", Ranked Sprint, Clan Battles, and Port changes.
Allied_Winter replied to Tanatoy's topic in Development Blog
I assume so. If we think back to 1v1 sprint: BB's could meet CV's. So I'd say it'll be the same here. -

I think CV should be removed (or rebalanced) - the whole community is complaining about the current state
Allied_Winter replied to anonym_mUbHU0hZb1bv's topic in General Discussion
What my statement is, is irrelevant. The only thing relevant is, is what WG thinks of them. And to Wargaming CV's are overall in a good enough (= not detrimental to the game) state. If you want my opinion (not that it matters): CV's are imho broken. As they currently are I see little chance for them being balanced in any way shape or form to fit in the game in such a way that the major accepts them. CV's currently are in a state of limbo for WG: Nerf them further (either by improving the AA or lowering their DMG output) and the playernumbers drop (as some play solely because they are "easy" to entry, yet not easy to do remotely well in). BUFF them further and the players of surface ships will revolt more (maybe enough to bring WG so far to actually change them, which would be - as far as I assume - a financial loss for WG). Thus: Leave CV's as they are and concentrate on new ships/lines/classes. Precisely! Thus WG can use them in any way to suit their line of argumentation. As in: As long as the silent majority doesn't care, WG goes the way WG thinks is the best for the game and the future of WG. Which ... overall might not be the worst choice given how bad the community IS at balancing if they are given the choice. -

Allied_Winter replied to anonym_mUbHU0hZb1bv's topic in General Discussion
And what makes you think that? Remember: One goal of the rework was to increase CV player numbers. The last time Sub_Oct was asked about that he admitted that the numbers were already on the low end of the expectation. Meaning that any change that could jeopardize the player numbers even more is off the table for WG. -

Allied_Winter replied to anonym_mUbHU0hZb1bv's topic in General Discussion
Keep in mind: All forum and reddit together make up less than I'd say 5% of the playerbase. The remaining 95% are simply silent. Enough silent mass to not change anything major according to WG. I mean ... if CV's really were that gamebraking as the forum makes them out to be ... wouldn't you think that the actual majority of the playerbase would've already quit the game? But since playernumbers remain stable enough ... -
Puerto Rico Grind - geht Wargaming zu weit? (Sammelthread)
Allied_Winter replied to xReunited's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen

CV - Rework erfolgreich oder nicht?
Allied_Winter replied to linkum's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen

Thread geschlossen.

What's your opinion on the new/reworked ship modules?
Allied_Winter replied to HMS_Kilinowski's topic in General Discussion
Which it already was before. Didn't stop a lot of players choosing it. Iirc Sub_Oct said one time, that roughly 20% of the playerbase value concealment (and the necessary builds). While it's not a confirmation that 80% of the players used TAM (and will use the new module), the numbers were suprisingly high (like that Asashio that got me once killed in my Lightning due to him having TAM slotted. My question for the "Why?" was answered with: "Don't know, don't care!"). So in short: From a good players perspective it is a noob trap. From the average players perspective it doesn't matter.
