Oh and yes, I have taken the perspective of others: In this case all the players out there that have (or had) the Moskva and never bought a perma camo ... they gain something while the rest is - to use WG's words - not losing anything. Sure I can understand that those who are at the "pitiful" position to not lose anything, but on the other hand: How many of the Perma camo owners are out there compared to those that gain something from this move?

Nope. Own currently neither as I opted for the regrind a few months back. But don't own that many camo's anyway ... only two at T10 iirc... mostly because I know that WG might nerf a ship I like, so of what use is a perma camo to me on a ship I might no longer enjoy playing.

Dürfte CV sniping (T8 Keilerei, 899-Div, oder T10 CB) sein. Kenne zumindest einen Clan der mit Haku und 6x Stalin erfolgreiches CV sniping betrieben hat.

Ist aber dann kein Problem der Hurrican oder Taifun clans. Die nutzen nur die Mechaniken die das Spiel hergibt. Ein ... nennen wir es mal ... "Gnadenfrist" gibt es nicht. Die Frage die ich mir dann stellen würde: Wie gingen den andere Hurrican oder Taifun Clans damit um, dass z.B. in einem Taifun vs. Taifun Gefecht ihr CV nicht versenkt wurde?

Anderen vorwerfen ob ihrer Handlungen asozial zu sein. Das hast du noch nicht gemacht. Deshalb auch meine Empfehlung. Du findest es nicht toll? Gut. Haben alle mitbekommen. Allerdings gibt es keine Regel die besagt, dass man bestimmte Spielmechaniken nicht nutzen darf/soll. Im Allgemeinen gilt: Spieler die sich mit den Regeln UND den Mechaniken auseinandersetzen wissen ganz genau was möglich ist und wie man Spiele gewinnen kann. Wenn dir nicht gefällt was gute Clans hier machen, dann empfehle ich dir folgendes: Gehe in die Update Sektion des Forums und hinterlasse dort ein möglichst konstruktives Feedback zu dem Thema. Warum stört es dich, wie beeinflusst es dein Spiel und wie könnte es besser werden. Wenn genügend Spieler deine Ansicht teilen, sieht sich WG vielleicht irgendwann mal genötigt diesbezüglich etwas zu ändern.

Das einzige was gegeben sein muss: Es muss den Spielregeln gehorchen. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Ansonsten empfehle ich darauf zu achten das die Wortwahl nicht ausfallend wird.

Have the LU mission and reset my tree a couple of weeks ago. And while I could reach the Moskva in time, I bank on WG to give me the Freemium Moskva due to having her researched in the past. That way I can keep the XP I currently have on the Donskoi and put it towards the Nevsky. Don't think though I'll grind forward with the LU mission ...

Ah ok. No, Moskva will keep her LU Mission (or if you already have the LU, you will keep that). So no "LU by default".

As said before: True! BUT, there was no need for them to distinguish further and I'm sure legally WG's wording on that is fine. So ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey there, I think this post here might help you: Don't mind the link to the German section, the content of the linked comment/post is English. So in your case, all possible earnable research points should be transferred from the Moskva to the Nevsky (with a little bonus as can be read in the devblog: "If the soviet cruiser branch was reset, a bonus to Research points will be applied to cruiser Alexander Nevsky." ) So I read the information like this: Yes you will get your Research Points, though not from the Moskva but the Nevsky. Yes you would get the Moskva for free. The Legendary Mission should stay active until 31.12.2020 (as leg mod missions aren't touched by the line reset). Regarding the modules? Moskva doesn't have any, so I assume she'll stay a she is.

True. Especially since there's a Thread on page one of (at least the german and the english section) that basically links to all devblogs and such...

Nicht ganz richtig, siehe Kommentar hier: Solltest du zu irgendeinem Zeitpunkt deiner Warships Karriere die Moskva mal erforscht haben, wird sie dir mit Patch 0.9.5 in den Hafen gestellt. Alle möglichen erspielbaren Forschungspunkte die man durch einen Regrind bekäme werden - wohl mit einem kleinen Bonus - auf die Nevsky "verlegt".

Bottom line still stands: You can not ask for the same money back that you used some time ago to buy stuff (well ... I mean you could ask, but the answer should be NO). No matter if it ages or not. That to me is irrelevant. You buy something, you use it. Thus you get something for your money. HOWEVER (and this is where it gets subjective): IF this "something" is enough ... well ... that's entirely different on each and everyone of you. Nitpicky me would have to say, that the fact's still stand. Sure WG is the one for creating these facts, but does it make a difference? No. Which so far ... seems to work a-ok? So far, I see no reason to think that from one day to another customers are running away. In fact: Even though many players complain about WG ... they still seem to buy what WG offers ... so ...

Sigh ... ok ... again: The "Perma" in Permanent camo is used to distinguish it from one time use camo's. Why? Because it's permanently reapplied to your ship (unless you turn it off). And this continues to be the case after the Moskva becomes a special-/reward ship! So ... your permanent camo ... is still a permenent camo. What you're referring to is, "Perma" as in unchangable ... which ... given the very nature of the game, can never be the case. Otherwise all progress and balancing should be halted.

Honestly: Given the similarities between Friesland, Halland and Smalland I'd advise you to grind your way through the EU DD tree first (maybe use a little bit of FXP on the way to unlock upgraded moduls and skip stock ships). IF you like the ships, you can spend FXP on the freemiums. It'd be pretty sad, if you spend 1 mill FXP on the Friesland + 600k XP on the line skip to find out you don't like the playstyle of these ships.

None of the former splits included a silver ship that turned into a reward ship. So ... to take your words: New facts had to be created. The rest? Fair enough. Your choice. I'm not gonna try to convince you otherwise

Fair enough. The facts regarding the T10 silver liner Moskva perma camo are clear. Unfortunately - only now after a clash happened. But does that change anything with regards to the underlying principle? No. As with others perviously in this thread: We have to agree to disagree on that matter. Problem with this "Slot" thinking is, is that WG doesn't apply this. They applied Camo tied to the ship (which happens to sit in said slot). The conclusion is then quickly drawn that the camo is tied to the slot. Especially in light of previous splits. And sure, just like "We don't plan any guns larger than 460mm (as of true when the statement was made)" WG did little to distinguish in the past between the Slot and the Ship argumentation. Simply - so I assume - because it wasn't necessary. Now when an explanation is needed, WG - to some: finally - clears up that differentiation. Ideal? No. My personal opinion is of little interest here, but since you asked: It's credits, why care about it. I don't mind if WG gives back every player 10kk, 20kk, 30kk, 40kk or nothing in terms of credits. Because it's just credits. So ... meh ... not really have an opinion on that one.

Sure, one could argue that WG wasn't clear enough in stating in the past, that you don't buy a T10 silver liner camo for 20 bucks, but a T10 silver liner camo specifically for ship X for 20 bucks! But technically ... it's still what it is. So: You got a T10 silver liner camo for the Moskva prior to the split. You got a T10 silver liner camo for the Moskva after the split. You got a T10 silver liner camo for the RUSSIAN cruiser Mosvka prior to the split. You got a T10 silver liner camo for the RUSSIAN cruiser Mosvka after the split.

Erm ... no? WG knows how many Moskva's and perma camos float around. Let's say it's a ratio of 100(Moskva):1(perma camo). One complains while 100 get a perma camo on top. If you feel ripped off, fair enough, I can understand that, but I don't share that view. Unless you didn't buy the perma camo let's say a week before the split, there was enough time for you to make use of the improved economics. You got your 20 bucks worth out of it. As said: Could it've be done differently/easier? Sure. But, it probably is just not the most economical/profitable solution for everyone involved.
