Frage: Was davon ist wertvoller? Ich bin für ersteres. Greetings

Greetings

Torpedos jetzt immer sichtbar ?
Allied_Winter replied to totosniperofhell's topic in Feedback Archiv
No! Each ranked season you have to start from scratch. You can only prevent that by ranking up, and safe a few stars for the lower ranks. Example: In your first ranked season you reached rank 15. This entitles you to start the following (second) ranked season at rank 19 (instead of rank 23). If you don't play the following (second) ranked season, and you only join with the then following (third) season, you start at rank 23 because you don't have any stars safed from the second season. Your Flag however is permanent. And the "permanent" (or unrevocable) ranks only count during a particular season. Greetings

The new repair's influence on Gameplay
Allied_Winter replied to Gunship14's topic in General Discussion
Pretty much what I expect to happen in 0.5.13. Either a changes will be made or not. Only reason to roll it out in its current state was the much larger playerbase than on the PTS. Greetings -
The new repair's influence on Gameplay
Allied_Winter replied to Gunship14's topic in General Discussion
The thing is: There is a fine line between a concentrated push, where the team goes for one objective but does not overextend, and a YOLO rush. The former is currently a way to generate XP and credits, but the latter is easier for most. Give it a few weeks time and see how it develops. Greetings -
XP outcome is now closer together. At least that is my observation. In games where I expected 1.7k+ base XP I got around 1.5k XP. However battles where I died early and couldn't contribute much and expected rightfully only 300 XP I got 500+ XP! This is mostly due to spotting XP and tanking/dodging XP. I had one game in an Anshan where I spotted 5 enemies, had roughly 50k spotting DMG, shoot up 8/10th of a Kamikaze and a bit of a Minekaze (total of 10k DMG) and then eat a torpedo . Totally my fault. It was the beginning of the game, so I thought I'll end up on the bottom. Nope, still made 550 XP! Best on the team had 1800... Greetings

Terrible cost to this game
Allied_Winter replied to anonym_EFwxJOPWzlER's topic in General Discussion
Pretty much this! Each game I had so far in a BB where I pushed and got more than 1kk potential I got a comfortable credit output. Overall my 16 battles tonigh (mostly BBs from T6 - T8) and a few DD and cruiser games where much more consistent credit wise. So despite I had really good or pretty bad games, my possible credit income was more or less linear with the damage dealt and potential damage recived. Also: XP-wise everybody sits closer together. Where I expecte 1.7k+ XP I got 1.5k. Where I expected less than 500 XP I got 700+ XP.... Greetings -
Can confirm! Two battles (both with the Horst) so far, and it was quite some brawl. I think, due to the Islands at A/C it's difficult to a) long range snipe (for BBs) and b) takes quite a while if you want to go borderhug the 1/2 or 9/10 line. Great map! Greetings

For Developer's of the launcher - Instaling takes longer than downloading.
Allied_Winter replied to Crusherheads's topic in Archive
Hmmmm currently my downloads take about an hour... or two.... or even more if it's a update that exceeds 3GB. The installation itself goes rather quick (usually somewhat 5 minutes or so...) Greetings -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
Allied_Winter replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Met darky_fighter in his Fletcher! Was quite awesome. The following game Neochrom joined my team. He fought quite well against a triple division (2 x Mahan and a Farragut) and came out alive. My questionable moves however, made my Amagi a nice target for the red ships ... Greetings -
On the german subs there is someone who was offered the Molotov. Greetings

Greetings

Repair Cost and Smoke Duration charts
Allied_Winter replied to Kurbain's topic in General Discussion
There is an updated list (with all changes coming in 0.5.12) regarding the new service cost for all the ships on the NA forum. LINK Thanks to WG NA for providing it, rather than having Iku or Vaexa datamine it! Greetings -
Some thoughts in the 1st year of this game.
Allied_Winter replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
@OP: May I ask something: Are you afraid, that the British cruisers will enter the game unbalaced and are either completely over- or underpowered? Greetings -
Not necessarily. I had games in this mode, where a DD from each team just sat in the inner circle while the rest of both teams, just circleing each other way outside the most outer circle. And both teams got lots of opportunities to shoot at different broadsides. And the teamplay aspect: What use is a BB if it rushes the center cap and gets focused to the bottom within one or two minutes? This BB would've been better of by supporting through mid range fire. Greetings

Allied_Winter replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
Wait a Moment... you lost me? There is (currently) no British heavy cruiser with 8 203mm guns. Leander (as the others will have the 152s) Will the british heavy cruisers a ship at T5 with 8 203mms? I don't know. I assume even the STs don't know at the moment, so we're just speculating here. But as I said: gun caliber alone is NOT THE WHOLE PICTURE. Look at the Furutaka also at T5. Currently at T5 we have 4 cruisers, three light (Omaha, Königsberg, Kirov) and one heavy cruiser (Furutaka). I think most will agree with me, that DESPITE their obvious differences in gun caliber they are quite balanced. Or do you think otherwise? And if so, why? Greetings -
Some thoughts in the 1st year of this game.
Allied_Winter replied to Anthoniusii's topic in General Discussion
Kirov vs. Leander is bad because we don't know the exact stats yet. What we can do is take the Omaha instead (also 152s) Kirov has a lower RoF (3rpm) compared to the Omaha (iirc it was 8rpm) Kirov has a higher alpha DMG (due to its 180s) over the Omaha Kirov has a slower rudder shift time compared to the Omaha Kirov has a bigger detection radius than the Omaha. So in GAME TERMS: While Kirov has bigger guns her other stats are "weaker" than Omahas. Does this make her a bad ship? Don't know, depends on what somebody likes (I for one don't like the Omaha, but that's purely personal) Were that the GAME TERMS you were looking for? By balancing through more than just armour and gun caliber it's fair for everyone! And as for light and heavy cruisers: I don't know why WG opted to do the British light cruisers first. But does it matter? If you like heavy cruisers, you can either choose a different nation or wait a bit longer. Don't forget: Just because a ship has bigger guns it's not automatically better. Look at Aoba vs. Cleveland. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. Greetings -
Actually a funny one: One of my teammembers started the team chat with some spanish. Not that uncommon as you may know, but the responses from the team were rather irritating. So to ease the tension a bit, I replied with: "No no senor peter no home" Team shared some laughs... Greetings
