Der Event-Kalender für den Oktober
Allied_Winter replied to Sehales's topic in News und Ankündigungen
Also erst Mal schön das (endlich und hoffentlich beständig) Entlastung ins dt. Team kommt. Greetings -
This seems just one of the days where I have to execute face_meets_desk.exe almost hourly Why is it impossible for you to just tell us what's coming in the next few weeks? Just a simple list with few or no details at all would be sufficient (to most of us). Greetings

Der Event-Kalender für den Oktober
Allied_Winter replied to Sehales's topic in News und Ankündigungen
Greetings -
T10 - G.Kurfurst - 286k dmg ... "economy" could be alot better...
Allied_Winter replied to Crusherheads's topic in General Discussion
Sure thing! But IMO it's ok to not get that high earnings anymore in a T10 battle. On a loss. With that much damage. And on a standard account. Now I'm not saying T10 should never generate a positve outcome, but a significant of credits hould be sunk in the high tiers unless you're one of the top 5% players. Best I can give you is this from the US forums: http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/97516-0512-downtime-and-notes/page__pid__2396292#entry2396292 Greetings -

You made a profit on a loss in a T10 ship, and your point is...? Greetings -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
Allied_Winter replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Met Nekrodamus in his NC in a ranked battle yesterday. His sacrifice of ramming a Bismarck, and taking one for the team, made winning much easier. Greetings -
Best Premium Ship - [edited]

Before discarding the sites, I'd look at all aviliable sites, to see if they provide the same tools for the user. E.g at warships.today it's rather easy and intuitive to choose a certain tier and timeframe. Something I never found on other stats sites. Maybe OP just took the overall stats and I specifically went for the two week frame. But aside from each sites "Player Rating" they should all be pretty equal, since they all use the same data provided by Wargaming. Greetings -

Best Premium Ship - [edited]
Allied_Winter replied to anonym_O8tf3somLU6N's topic in General Discussion
quoted post removed But if you look at missions, there is allways a silver ship that can do the job just as well. In the end it all comes down to a personal opinion which ship one suits better. There are a few ships in there, that are OP (Imperator, Gremy) or close to (Atago). Those ships that are OP won't be sold anymore. Luckily we can keep the Atago in the shop, because many new players buy her and don't do that well --> bad statistics of the ship. Greetings -

Fair enough. If you take a look at a different statistics website and look at the stats over the last two weeks you get a different picture: The both crusier on the top of the two week list are the two "old" premium cruisers. Both outdamaging and outwinning their tier-mates. Not to mention, that the Atago has over 40k battles played in two weeks. And thanks to the heal, Atago has the highest survivability of all T8 cruisers. If you look however on the all time history: All cruisers sit much closer together with the Kutuzov and the Chapayev tied in DMG, but Kutuzov has a higher WR. Mogami and Atago are also quite close (both in WR and DMG). But you mustn't forget, that the alltime stats include the time frame when Mogami had access to AFT, resulting in much, much more DMG/battle on average than today. So the alltime stats are skewed. Just saw, that you quited me about the Arizona as well. This (also) can be explained via statistics. Arizona was deemed rather mediocre by most reviewers. So, only those who really want a slow, brawling BB with a smaller caliber than the british brawling BB, bought it. You can see this by looking at the battles played. 7k vs 17k (Warspite) or a whopping 107k (Bayern). This leads to the assumption, that only those who know how to handle such a ship, bought it. Unlike the Tirpitz, that is known to be the "Löwe" of Warships. Greetings -

Now before I take a closer look into the provided statistics, may I ask where you got those statistics from? Are the the last two weeks only? Or over all time? And as some mentioned: Stats are one thing, especially if one can buy into T8. A new player in the Atago with 200 battles played will loose in most cases against a player that worked his way up to the Mogami (choosen because of similar playstyle). If you put however two equally skilled captains against eacht other, then usually the better ship will have an edge. In this case it would be the Atago due to her forward facing torpedo arcs and the repair party, to name a few. Greetings -
König Albert not to be for sale on the EU, only as a reward/prize-ship. It was meant to be like that from day 1?
Allied_Winter replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
Warships community used "Demand Information on topic XY" - WG EU is confused WG EU used "Delayed communication" - It's not very effective Warships community used "Incoming Shitstorm" - It's very effective WG EU used "Delayed communication" - It hurt itself in its confusion Honestly I usually don't give much about server disparities, but this absolut lack of communication and understanding of the playerbase by WG EU is rather worringly. Care to explain a) Why do you think the Arizona is so over the top? b) Why do you think the Atago looses over the non-premium cruisers? Greetings -
No special flag for ranked battles S5?
Allied_Winter replied to diegomalito's topic in General Discussion
Flag for reaching Rank 15 will be the Flag of Wilhelmshaven. Greetings -
Correct! I'm just not sure on the exact numbers, but basically: Warspite can/can not repair the same stuff other BBs can. Only more of it. Greetings
-
FTFY! Warspite isn't able to repair citadel damage! The only thing she can do is repair more regular pen and fire damage. For every other ship it's 0.5%HP/s. Warspite has 0.6%HP/s Greetings

Rampant political correctness on these forums
Allied_Winter replied to FaceFisted's topic in Archive
ON a serious note: There's a difference between: - Hey look at my screenshot/video and how well I did (like e.g. a streamer, those don't blur out names) AND - Wow, this team suXX hard! Only L0$er$, I'm tha best playa on this team! The later is toxic and has any right to be removed. But judging from your response I assume you know that allready. That leaves me only to point out Dunning-Kruger and get myself some Greetings -
So it's basically implemented, but via a post battle refund. Nice to know. Thanks! Greetings

From the NA Forums: Return of approx 50% of the repair cost for PvE only SOURCE Greetings

economy change is the best thing WG has done
Allied_Winter replied to Comrad_StaIin's topic in General Discussion
With premium or without? I heard that there is currently something suspicious with CVs, but loosing money in a TX ship should be the rule! The exception would be win a small amount on a stellar game without premium. Greetings -
Is the game more/less "enjoyable" now compared to when you first started playing?
Allied_Winter replied to IanH755's topic in General Discussion
More enjoyable. Sure there are some stinkers, but overall the improvements outweigh them. Greetings -
Exactly, while a CV can't tank that much, spotting is well within it's capabilities. If however a CVs captain is capable of changing his playstyle is something different. Greetings
-
Ran out of +1. Apparently there's an economy problem for CVs. I say apparently because I my self don't have a CV so I can't confirm/deny such claims. The rest: Seems ok so far. It feels like, stellar games won't bring you that much credits than before, while on the same time crapy games won't take that much credits out of your account. The thing is, it'll take a while for the average Joe to change his playstyle from super passive to the right aggressiveness. Remember: The line between a concentrated push and YOLO rush is a thin one. Greetings

1500 Base EP bekommt. Greetings
