Make it time gated I'd say. Each reward ship is allowed to be one year 'excuseliv'. After that it's for the public. Or skip special reward ships in general and give out different rewards.

Maybe. The thing is: Bringing out a new 'ship concept' as a reward ship (that people can grind for) is always tricky to balance. It would've been easier if WG went for e.g. the SMS Baden (sistership of the Bayern) as a T6 premium. It is what it is though. All we players can do is voice our (dis)comfort with the ship and see where it goes. I'd say: Balanced for a few is ok. But making such a ship a reward ship isn't what I'd consider a good idea. A reward ship should be something of T5 or T6, for a mediocre grind and in the end something that may be weaker than same tier counterparts but more fun. The thing here again is: WHAT is fun? In the above mentioned case with the SMS Baden, I don't know if I'd have fun with a shotgun that is the Bayern.

To me? Speed (something I value quite highly, I can't stand slow BBs, that's why I rarely play my Warspite anymore... she used to be quite fast when there were only Fuso, New Mex and her around... today though). Armour when angled (yes she dies when broadside just like it should be, when angled though, quite tanky so far). Accuracy (I rather have guns that hit where I aim, than guns that hit hard but ... well... looking at the Bayern). One COULD mention AA but with the upcoming CV rework I ditch that for now. Why not. Would be probably a waste of ressources from a developers side (creating a ship that only 5% of the playerbase will do GOOD in) but from a players perspective? Why not. On the other hand: WG balances by numbers. Fun can rarely displayed in numbers. Look at the Grozovoi. A good ship, but rarely played. So WG buffed it in the hopes of players playing it more and now it's even stronger.

Yeah, but here's where I have to agree with Wilk: Fun is subjective. And I assume that to players who value guns that hit hard as a good trait in a BB, the PEF will be unfun. Just like it is to you. To others however, that value different stuff more, that changes however. So far - while the PEF is a challenge to do good in - it's a fun challenge for me.

Und? Da kann man trotzdem sachlich antworten. Wenn der Post auf den du geanwortet hast, Verschwörungstheorien vermutet ist das seine Sache. Dann fragt man nach Beweisen für die Theorie und erklärt (nochmal) wie es funktioniert oder verweist auf einen entsprechenden Post. Oder man ignoriert es.

Nö. Überhaupt nicht. Nur welche sinnvollen Informationen will man aus einer voreingenommenen Umfrage ziehen? Wäre alles so einfach: Frage 1: Nächstes Ranked wird Arms Race, wie findet ihr das? Antworten: Gut, Schlecht, Mir egal Frage 2: Nächstes Ranked wird T9, wie finder ihr das? Antworten: Gut, Schlecht, Mir egal Frage 3: Nächstes Ranked kombiniert Arms Race und T9, wie findet ihr das? Antworten: Gut, Schlecht, Mir egal Da kann man viel mehr sinnvolles herausholen als aus der Umfrage oben. WARUM sollte man das so machen? Das Forum ist nur ein kleiner Bruchteil der gesamten Spielerschaft, wenn - was ich mal vermute OP mit der Umfrage bezwecken wollte - WG die Wünsche der Spieler berücksichtigen soll, dann sollten wir als Spieler auch darauf abzielen, dass so viele Spieler als möglich an so einer Umfrage teilnehmen (was bei voreingenommen Umfragen immer weniger sein wird als bei unvoreingenommenen) und dass die Informationen die man aus einer solchen Umfrage ziehen kann für WG nutzbar ist. Und zum Abschluss: Die wissenschaftliche Methode hat uns zum Mond gebracht und bringt uns Licht, Strom und Heizung, warum man zwecks "Einfachheit" drauf verzichten soll diese Methode im täglichen Leben anzuwenden ist mir schleierhaft. Ich setze mich ja auch nicht ins Auto und denke mir: "Die Forschung hat zwar ergeben, dass ich bei 100km/h aus der nächsten Kurve fliege, aber das wird schon so nicht stimmen!"

Klar. Aber ich bezog mich auf die Missionen und Kampagnen :)

@Otto_Carius_512 Ne hast das absolut schlüssig erklärt bzgl der Menge an erhaltbarem Stahl (wobei es ganz genau genommen 10038 wären).

Frag mal die ganzen HiWi's und Doktoranden die mit falsch formulierten Antwortmöglichkeiten oder Suggestivfragen Umfrageergebnisse ziemlich leicht beeinflussen können. Eine Umfrage sollte deshalb (wenn man ein unvoreingenommenes Ergebnis erreichen will) so objektiv als möglich formuliert werden. Ist hier nicht der Fall weil OP anscheinend - und aus seiner Sicht wohl zu Recht - keinen Bock auf T9 und/oder Arms Race hat.

Jup. Wäre nicht das erste Mal, dass nur diejenigen ein Event auch tatsächlich zur Gänze bestreiten können die auch mehrere Klassen/Nationen fahren (ich erinnere mich an ein Event bei dem man 50 Flieger in einem Stufe 5 oder höher CV abschießen musste). Natürlich kann ich WG schon verstehen, weil man so die Spieler dazu animiert alle Klassen/Nationen mal anzuspielen. Ebenso wird WG sagen, die Spieler wissen jetzt schon was auf sie am 10.01.2019 zu kommt, sie können also jetzt schon bei noch nicht erforschten Nationen auf die Stufe 5 kommen. Auf der anderen Seite ist das aber ein massiver zusätzlicher Grindaufwand, so dass ich jeden verstehe der sagt: Nein, danke!

Du kannst nur beide machen wenn du das teuerste Paket gekauft hast. Jedes Andere Paket ODER wenn du dir die PEF kostenlos erspielst ermöglicht es dir 'nur' die "Nerven aus Stahl" Missionskette zu bespielen.

Ahh yeah. I thought the other way round. 8019 Steel (like your calculation above) without the Might of steel missions. Yeah... this could've been sooooo much clearer. But WG went 'NO tenks we are here to confuse'

So, WG released the information on PEF and the campaigns: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/game-updates/prinz-eitel-friedrich/ In short: - Directives to obtain the PEF (if you buy the PEF before hand and obtain her additionally through the campaign you get 6800 DUBLOONS as a compensation), up to 2000 steel as rewards possible - Campaign that you can start once the PEF is in your port, up to 2019 steel as rewards possible (- "Steel Monsters" campaign from the shop for up to 4000 steel) Per Directive it's 11 missions over 5 weeks. So 44 missions in total. Although some missions might be nation bound to e.g. Poland or Italy. Thoughts?

Because in the patch notes, the 'Might of Steele' mission chain isn't mentioned (thus 4000 + 2000 + 2019).

Ist der 'gleiche' Auftrag wie 'Nerven aus Stahl'. Das bedeutet man bekommt nochmal 2019 Stahl. Muss dafür auch weniger machen. D.h. die Aufgaben sind die gleichen (z.B. XP farmen) nur insgesamt weniger. Auch kann 'Nerven aus Stahl' NUR mit der PEF abgescholossen werden, wohingegen der Auftrag 'Die Macht von Stahl' mit allen Schiffen der Stufe III und höher abgeschlossen werden kann.

Wasn't it, that with the patch the 'regular' premium Time got changed to Warships Premium? Or we had a change to switch? My games yesterady hat a 65% XP multiplier. So if I buy now this offer for dubloons I should run Warships Premium throughout. Right?

Fair enough. I quite liked the pre-buff Yorck. Sure the buffs were nice. But to me the buff wasn't really necessary. But ok, different tastes :)
