The Georgia is a phenomenon, if we are each chiming in our opinion. I play this beauty in full secondary spec as I feel that is what she was designed for, and it's wonderful fun. As for the apparent debate concerning her guns - I find them to be extremely accurate, consistent and extremely punishing. I adore her guns - citadels for days! She is a little squishy, so you have to be sure to position her correctly. Obviously. Easily one of my favourite ships.

Umm... Bum-Pee?

Queued 10 games as tier 8 since the patch, and placed into (heavy) tier 10 matchups in 8 of those games - so, 80% bottom tier (-2) matchmaking. I'm not sure if it's an improvement on what it was pre-patch as I stopped queuing tier 8 months ago due to the appalling matchmaking. I am sure however, that currently it's bleedin' awful.

A question (not a cry for the nerf bat). I can shoot ships. I can torpedo ships. I can hide from ships. I cannot defend myself against a competent CV captain that selects my ship for deletion, however. How do you guys deal with such occasion/encounter? Hints/tips welcomed. **I will not accept: 'teamwork' (as this rarely exists) or 'buy an Atlanta' (as this isn't a solution, it's a cheat) Hehe, cheers people.

I like all the replies, they are well founded, sensible and expected. To be honest I knew all this in advance of my question but appreciate you taking the time to write it and offer helpful advice. Yes it all applies, and in most regular circumstances against most regular captains you can take a few hits and move on. If you find yourself in a position that makes you the intended target. But. As you approach and play the higher tiers - if a competent CV captain targets you for deletion, and you are not in an Atlanta (e.g) or sailing in a pack.. you are removed from the game with but a whimper. I guess I was being a little tongue-in-cheek asking for advice. There is no answer to a competent CV captain (that anyone has given me anyway). They can consistently 1-shot you. Hence the volume of videos online demonstrating their 250-350k damage rounds. Good on you if you are the competent CV captain. Enjoy it! But I'll be damned if I enjoy being the victim.

Boo-ya! I'm opening myself up to trolls and exactly the kind of people I'm referring to in this post, but meh - I have broad shoulders. More of a point than a question/suggestion but.. Why on earth has the WoWS community become so aggressive, abusive and damned-right vile of late? - when I first started playing it was (relatively) pleasant. Now people are fighting before the countdown has even finished, and they're on the same team! Bring back the love <3 Regards.

I've played a number of games with the typical 'anonymous a**hat' community, and appreciate it breeds in every game - and typically it is over winning (or not on some occasions). It's just a shame, I can cope with frustrated outbursts or abuse for a bit of luck (WHY are detonations in the game, they can be so so cruel! ha..) I just don't get people that go nutty-weird psycho before their engine is even enabled. It used to be fairly pleasant. Yes I am a disillusioned fool, but I guess I just wanted to communicate my feelings - as as stated previously - and yearn for yesteryear, when it was a little more civil. Oh well.
