Yeah, steel would be preferable. However, crates containing dragon signals ain't bad either. What worries me, is this XP threshold. All it took previously, was to win in coop. Easy, fast and relaxing. Now, knowing WG, we can safely assume that the XP requirements won't be that easy anymore to force players into randoms. This could turn this whole thing into a massive crap fest, when everybody yolos in randoms, because the threshold is too high for many in coop.

I know that feeling. I keep misspelling "restarted idioms glee sniffing windowlacking imbalances", which seems to upset people for some reason... WG bans me for it, they don't seem to know about that thing called "spelling weakness", and ban me for it. But why would they take away premium time?

WG already shot that idea down multiple times. In over 5 years, we had only two threads asking for premium ammo, you're the second who asked for it. People say a lot of things openly, asking for premium ammo was never one of them. You are not the vast majority of the playerbase. Disregard everything your parents told you: you are not special. You are not the one. You are not important and you do not speak for everyone. They lied to you because getting rid of you in the nearest forrest is illegal and they decided to live peacefully until you reach 18years. :p I was thinking this could possibly be bait, but then, i remembered how...intelligent...the average WoWS player is.^^

Unlocked Ægir two days ago. Now begins the long grind for Siegfried, ECXP and FXP (although the latter at a lazy pace, as I am not willing to waste Dragon signals with 50% win bonus). Reached rank 10 a few days ago, and while i usually stop there regardless of how good the progression is at that point, i feel tempted to continue, simply to gather more steel. I am sitting at 20k atm, and i hope to reach 30 by the end of the year (somehow), hoping that Kitakami might be added as a steel ship, or if WG decides to shelf her again, can instantly buy one of the three other ships with a coupon: Stalingrad, Bourgogne or Shikishima.

Ah, thx. So, we have the finals this weekend with one drop, and in two weeks the super-finals* (because finals aren't final enough) with another drop? *Interserver finals?

Haven't played Iowa in years (in randoms, and only once in coop for crates), but why play Iowa when there are ships like the ru TIXBB and the Riga?^^

My teams this evening were horrible, so i decided to play a ranked game in a ship i never played before: Manfred von Richthofen. Well, the game was close 'till the end, as we were always behind on points and i had to cap with the DD. It was a game of atrition between me and the enemy CV, but we got lucky i guess. Still surprised how good my game was considering all i did was brute forcing my way through enemy AA to drop targets behind the AA wall.

Enterprise is a premium ship bought for Real money, which WG will not nerf as they would be forced to offer compensation. Slava is a resource T X, without premium status, which means it can get nerfed anytime.

Despite the fact, that WG finally implements a qualification for ranked, something i've been asking for years now, i'll hold my horses until i see it live. In regards to the new format, let me tell a a short story first: Friends of mine recently shared a vid of their little baby son pooping in a chamber pot for the very first time in his life. They were soooo exited, and he got excited too and was all happy (maybe because his parents were?), and they gave him candy as a reward for this "achievement", and turned this into a small celebration. Now, lets fast forward a few years from now...i honestly doubt he, or his parents will consider pooping anywhere other than his pants an achievemnt anymore. There won't be any celebrations (unless, he turns out to be one of "those" kids...and his parents have a sign on their front lawn "days where our son did NOT poop in the palm tree at the mall: 7) for something that happens on a regular (weekly/monthly) basis. So, what does pooping have to do with ranked: well, ranked always was a sh*tshow, and if WG turns it into something that happens on a weekly/ monthly basis, it stops being an achievement. Pls don't do it WG, 4 times a year is enough. I know they want us to keep playing, out of fear to miss out, but seriously???

I am 1/3 through the fifth stages, so far i received Bumblebee and Megatron in those pleb crates (the Khaba bot in a premium crate). I hope that subOptimus Prime is in one of the crates i'm going to unlock soon-ish.

And more actually. The only ship i use the Asian camos on atm is the München, as it provides and additional 200% per game, and gave me 50k+ FXP, depending on my performance in this tin can. Everything else is played with Tokyo show camos (100% XP and 300% FXP). I'll save the asian camos for the xmas celebration vicrory bonus. All Dragon signals, camos that boost XP and FXP, the 200% victory bonus and good performance yield usually between 25 - 45k FXP per game on a victory. Between 10 and 25k on a defeat.* Also, praying to be bottom tier regardless of what tier i am playibg for added XP bonus. *i play each ship only once. Once won in that ship, i switch to the next one that gives me 200% for the victory.

Thunderer is stronk? OMG! I am now almost as shocked as i was, back then when the ship was added and everyone else put commentaries on YT...a lifetime ago, considering how the game progresses. ...no wait, what i thought is utter disbelief that causes rumble in my stomach, on how such a ship could make it into the game, was actually the chilli con carne i had for dinner. Bummer. I do follow him on YT, but there is sometimes a bit too much...drama...in some of his vids. And this vid comes months too late to be any news.

Yesterday, i had 88k FXP when ended the game session, today i am at 440k. Four of the games i lost today - needlessly i hasten to add, but my teams wanted to win harder or not at all - were so good, that i scored top on XP or close to it on both teams. I can only imagine how much FXP i could have gotten from those games, i'd probably be over 550k. Coulda, shoulda, woulda... Looking forward to break 700k tomorrow, unlock the Anchorage and with some luck I'll have enough FXP by thursday to get Ægir. Have to remember to post some screenies tomorrow...cause some of them are mind-bogglingly hilarious, especially some of the defeats.

This sums it up nicely. That's why ranked is a sh*tshow, but WG won't change it. At least, it allows me to grind the legendary modules for Midway and Haku, without giving a damn about the end result.

Yeah it's intriguing, that there is so little merch to buy. Cause, i am pretty sure, WoWS themed glue bottles, smart phone sized and framed portable windows in the shape of a bulls eye ( with 'lick here' sticker) as well as WoWS themed boxes were players can out their little b*lls in while playing the game, would sell like hotcakes.

Unlocked M. Von Richthofen today, without playing Parseval (which i unlocked 2 days ago - without playing the Weser) once in randoms. ^^ Which means, i have all tech tree ships unlocked! Now, the grind for the two non- Premium store ships i don't have begins: Ægir and Siegfried. Sitting at 88k Free XP after unlocking Richthofen, and if all goes well, i should reach 400 to 500k free XP by the time the 200% victory bonus ends ( which should be Thursday morning, iirc?), although i'll try my best to reach 600-650k till then. Theoretically, 900k would be possible, but that requires victories, and my team mates aren't always keen on winning the game.

i prefer the new BSG...the old one is entertaining but the new is the best shiw ever made.
