Yeah, intelligent design and balans decisions have been banned from WoWS DEV work, because they interfered with what spread sheet said. They also made sense, so off they went to the ban locker. While true that he didn't get solo-ed by the CV, he has a point that FdR is [edited] toxin for the game.

I have that in port, haven't played yet on my main account. Screen freezes, performance is horrible. Funnily enough, my alt account works like a charm (both EU).

Read faster. I know what you mean tho. It's annoying, but I do think that chat messages are logged, as they are the basis for extended chat bans. So, there seems to be a system in place, it's just that there seem to be a client side bug.

Well, you're talking ships, my post was more focused on camos. Granted, it seems we'll be able to grind Florida for free, but all the special camos are behind a paywall. I don't mind paying for premiums, i just don't like this whole 'grind for premiums AND pay anyway' concept. Didn't stop me from getting Odin and Anchorage, but those are ships that may never be on sale in the store, and the reason why I got Anchorage, were the ~18k dubs that dropped from SCs in the WG BD event. In previous events, we could get the lower tier camos just by playing, but now you're forced to spend money. Especially if you want 'early access' to TT ships. This whole concept is dumb.

Broke 200k damage in my Weser in OPs today for rhe first time. Yay me. Also, not really WoWS related, but WG related, so what the heck. Bought a bunch of the 'special crates' in WoT, and hoped to get the new T77 tank. With the re-rolling mechanic, where you can spend gold (100, 250, 500, 500, 500) to reroll if you don't like the content of your RNG loot crate now in place, we might see this more often (and while i hate it that WG found a new way to double monetize fraking loot boxes, i really wish this mechanic were in place in WoWS now in the Transformer crates!!) and soon in WoWS. I got a the VK tank - which i didn't want because I have the Mauerbrecher (same tank, but with a perma skin) AND the T77 and a bunch of crew books and other goodies for the price of one premium tank, which i would have bought anyway. I guess WoT knows how to make you feel all warm and fuzzy, unlike WoWS. FFS, WoT used to be the greedy, money grabbing evil DEV team and WoWS the ones with moderate monetization policies. Funnily enough, WoT uses practices previously used by WoWS. For instance, if you by lots of crates during the xmas event, you'll never feel disappointed (unless you want a very specific tank out of them ^^ ...last years double-barrelled IS tank anyone?). While WoWS crates leave a lot to be desired.

The only non-premium i mentioned was the Minnesota, the other two are the TVII and the TVIII premium ships. And in the previous events, we could get the TV to TVIII camos just by playing the game without spending any money.

If you used the rewards (Signals, aso...) and don't have any spare, you might be out of luck and have to live with the knowledge, that you contributed to golden toilet seats in WeeGees moonbase. Contact MrConway and/ or Crysantos to look into this or give you advice on how to proceed.

Well, since i am a collector, of course i'll be getting them. This might be a slooow grind tho... ...i'll get my coat.

Agreed. In fact, you're onto something here. If we follow the path you just showed... What if, WeeGee removes CVs altogether?Nobody y would complain about how useless AA is and we could have fun in the game (i mean the 11 players on each team that aren't CV players). Yep, i like that idea very much!!

FdR is not a premium and can be nerfed too.

Since it is a TT ship, i don't care about the drop chance at all. I just don't see the point spending money on something that will be free anyway. I am however interested in the premium one. But with my luck and RNG...

Still waiting for the day, when WeeGee gives the heal consumeable to the Z52 to offset it being just slightly better then the Khaba.

Possible indeed. My guess is, they split the line at tVI, turn York into a premium (210mm guns wouldn't fit the TT anymore), and we'll get new Münchens all the way up to TX. Squishy shios, with no armor but heavy hulls that turn like Kurfürsts with 150mm guns. Possibly 180mm on the TX, but then, this caliber seems to be reserved for ru ships.

This below: There is a small chance, that WG is to blame here. See, WG assumes, that the players are able to think and breathe at the same time. WG also assumes, that the players - on top of the prevoius requirements - are able to look at the mini map, understand what's happening there, AND occasionally leave the zoom view. Not to mention, that WG assumes that the players actually give a damn. So yeah, i blame WG. ^^

I hate CVs, so can't be arsed to play them with any resemblance of skill. So, i use brute force to drop targets, means i pretend AA does not exist. And it works. Regardless of what CV i played in ranked, i was always able to drop loads of balans against any target, even if blobbed up. Among them, Petropavlosk who was sitting next to a Thunderer and a Daring. He still ate double citas from my dive bombers (MvR).

I think, me as a long time member and premium user, should be allowed to do more then three tasks at the same time. Basically, divide the players into three groups: F2p plebs Premium plebs Glorious premium master race (me)

I just raced down a California...in my Warspite.

I hate the fact, that i received Optimus Prime AND the Khaba camo from free crates on my alt account. Optimus being the one captain i'm missing on my main account. Great RNG...

So, as far as i know, we have twice a year events where having Tier X ships in port yields rewards, like the recent birthday event and during xmas time. Since i started playing last year again after a nearly 1 1/2 year long break, i honestly didn't pay much attention whether these kind of events have become more common or not. Thing is, i want to grind the Siegfried and i thought about resetting 5 lines for it. Resetting that many lines at the same time would make it impossible to get back to tier X in a short time tho. Unless there is a change i am not aware of the next "knock off flakes from your tier X" event should be during xmas, which would allow me to grind those lines at a normal pace without turning this into a full time job i have to pay for...^^ Am i right? Or was there an event between WGs birthday and xmas last year? Are there any such events planned this year?@Crysantos
