WG does focus mostly - with very few exceptions - on famous naval battles as events. There is on the forums somewhere, a dedicated section/ calendar, where WG names those battles, Battle of Jutland, Samar, Leyte Gulf for instance.

Oh, we are smart enough to see that. We're just more annoyed by the fact that there was a CV in the first place. If you get crapped on enough by CVs, you simply don't care anymore. You fail to see, that for some of us, it doesn't matter which CV gets nuked at the start, as long it's a CV that gets nuked at the start. And having a CV on your side is by no means a guarantee for a victory. Is it annoying when it happens to my team? Yes. Do I feel sorry for the CV? No. In fact, I'd be much more annoyed if the first victim is a DD or a CA.

There is no "rigging", that's how the game works. If you face a triple unicum division with no CVs, do you call that rigging too? It's a means to play with friends AND allow the div a more coordinated play, for the sole purpose of winning games. And a lot of players consider playing against CVs with no means of counterplay, unsporting too, yet CV players usually don't give a crap. Accept it, move on. And I'm still wondering why we don't see more of these divs, cause I like the concept. Each team should have one of those.

Yes, it is good play. Because if they don't, the CV will remove a DD or CL right at the start. And of course playing in divs is a means to increase WR, that's why people do it in the first place. Nothing new or wrong about that. Statpedding divs are as old as WG games, you can find tons of those in lower tiers, mostly those cancerous CV/ Kamikaze divs, and those play mostly against new players. You don't have to like 899 divs, all you can do is just dodge, and if that doesn't work, accept it like the rest of us has to accept that CVs are in the game. Is it fair? No. But neither is playing against that broken class. BTW, I am open for 899 divs...mention this for no reason whatsoever... ^^

Pretty much this. Besides, getting wrecked by means you can't really counter, apart from the obvious "just dodge"...why does it sound so familiar? Oh, right! That's how CVs work, and how everyone else, who's not playing them feels, almost every game.

Post here if you're available as merc. I am willing to fight for your clan as if it is my own (actually for steel, but who cares... ). Have all the TX except Stalingrad, Shikishima and Bourgogne. Mostly DD and cruiser player, however with CVs in CBs and all, the radar spam, i doubt anyone will field DDs. Can play all classes, even BB if needed, or heck, even CVs if need be, although i hate them with passion and am not the best CV player out there. Edit: No prior CB experience. Preferred ships (but as mentioned, i can use any, if needed): Prefered DD: Gearing/ Somers and Shima (Daring possibly) Preferred Cruiser: all of em (don't like Moskva very much tho) Preferred BB (if needed): Yamato, Ohio/Montana, Thunderer Preferred CV: Manfred von Richthofen, Midway, Hakuryu I am mostly a nice toxic guy, who doesn't talk much. There may be some restrictions in playtime due to RL/ job, depending on which days CBs are played. Since the goal is steel, my only concern is to win, don't care about damage or kills in ranked/ CB environment. What i learned in 5 years of WoWS: Will take credit for each victory. Hizen looks more a Izumo type then a Yamato. Pretty much this.

Then it might be a design variant of what was supposed to be a Yamato class ship. It has little to no resemblence to the actual Yamato.

Hizen is a Izumo variant. I like the camo. Besides, it removes two ships from the xmas crates, i could get and allows to drop higher tier ones. Irrc, black variants drop in xmas boxes too(?). Last year, I bought one bundle with crates that dropped: Benham, Azuma, Friesland and Georgia. All that for the price of a tier 8 premium. I wanted a black Atlanta for a long time, so it's insta-buy anyways. It also gives me more ships to knock tokens of, plus dubloons. ^^

I'll be getting that Atlanta and Cossack for sure, JB maaaaybee(???). Kaga, eh. Maya might be of interest to me, however it will depend on the price tag for the ARP ships.

Personally, i'd say no, since i have 300+ ships for ages now and never had issues. Besides, i doubt that the game engine pre loads ALL ships which indeed could cause these kind of stutters and lag. My gut feeling tells me, that Crysantos is onto something here, as with increasing numbers on my VIP list, the issue got worse. I just didn't make the connection between these two things.

Tried to count them, but the lag and stuttering makes that impossible. I estimate there to be at least 500 names on that list, possibly much more. Alright, i'll contact Support and see if it fixes this issue. Thx mate!

Hi, thx for looking into it! I do blacklist people, but i have no idea how many made it onto my list, i do however know, that i haven't reached the limit yet (unlike WoT^^). Gimme a few mins and i check.

I'd prefer it, if WG would add multiple perma camo options for each ship starting with tier 4. While the bonuses would be always identical, it would allow me to choose how I want my ship to look like. And from comments over the past few years, I can safely assume that there are other players who would fork out cash for perma camos, if it make their favorite ship look like the real life counterpart. As much as I love the Scorpion Halloween camo for Yamato for instance, it's not something I'd sport every game. The standard perma is nice, yet...boring...for the lack of a better word. And the HSF camo is too...anime-ish. Having options would be an incentive to buy other camos. Take Atago for instance, which has the standard perma (for being a premium), the combat one, the other one which i forgot and one that can best be described as acid-trip. I bought them all and I don't regret it. Options, is all I am saying and not only for meta ships pls. Did I mention that I have 401 ships in the port?

Possible. But also the fact, that OPs do not bring any money and have to be reworked after each game mechanic change/ addition. That costs money and eats resources and time, things WG wants to use to make revenue. Basically events and content that be monetized directly. That's why we have a limited set of OPs, that don't require much attention and with the economic nerfs to these, WG ensures that people use more signals and camos to compensate.

Does Yamato have the same gun sounds as any other ship in your mod, or did you account for the big badda-boom? Love the secondaries!
