Whats the deal with Steven Seagal as commander?
Jethro_Grey replied to Hades_warrior's topic in General Discussion
I'd like to have Admiral William Adama as Captain for mah ships, he kicks so much a$$ that he makes Chuck Norris look a like a chicken. ^^ -
Since we can get all ARP ships now.. what about the 3 other captains like Gunzou, Iona and Kirishima Bear?

Edit: nevermind, was answered. -
Haven't played her yet myself, so i can't say anything. I do have regrets myself, for NOT buying the beta package with the Gremy when i had the chance. Granted, back then i didn't for a second consider to stick around long enough or buy actually anything in a F2P game, and now i could kick my [edited]from moring to evening. Lesson learned, as long i have interesst in the game, i'm gonna buy ever.single.premium. that gets released (applies to WoT too...[edited]my life).

I like the mission requirements, a step in the right direction as it makes the grind easier for a lot of folks and - as added benefit - doesn't disturb the gameplay itself - for the most part at least. In regards to the rewards, i fully agree! Don't get me wrong here, it doesn't have to be always a super-mega reward, i'd be perfectly fine with commemorative flags for events like this one. The british cruiser event offers such a special flag, yet i doubt a lot of players will get them considering that unicum players will grab them and the rest is crapout of luck. Creating such flags is a minor and easy task, yet it adds quite a bit to the game. Unlike signals, credits, camos, heck even dubloons which are nice to get, yet once applied they're gone. A flag stays. Yesterday, i managed to complete two of the missions, the secondary hits mission is halway done (FdG, Yamato, Izumo, Montana FTW!) and decent progress on all of the others - except the torpedo mission...i find the lack of torps on my high tier BBs disturbing.
-
Good question, but in the end, it doesn't matter - for me - she's quite a looker. And i didn't bought the Mikasa for her perfomance. ^^
-
Don't worry, you have 2 months to complete that mission, which should be enough time. That particular mission is rather easy, as i got 4-6 kills in each nation, and i found the Win X number of games much more challenging in the higher tiers. :p

Well, the lack of HE makes them very dry, but so is british humour.

Ah, there she is...took her a while to sail all the way from NA to EU so slow as she is. ^^

What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?
Jethro_Grey replied to Hanszeehock's topic in General Discussion
Finished two of the ARP missions, despite having mostly shitty games with lotsa defeats. Finally won the Halloween mission. Got chat banned. Again. Same old, same old. -
Which forum members have you seen in random battles?
Jethro_Grey replied to Cobra6's topic in General Discussion
Heya! Right, while they can't aim, position themselfes, WASD or even sail in a straight line properly, they are superior when it comes to being more useless than a umbrella on the moon. That game got me chat banned btw. ^^ -
Haven't won once...seems this game mode needs bright red arrows that mark the next objective as players go to far away locations on the map just to kill the Zikasas. It's like Ranked got filtered and the worst of the worst are playing this mode.

Kill 20 Cvs, 20 BBs, 20 CAs, 20 DDs and 20 Submarines. Deal 2.09 points of damage, set 1000 fires with RN Cruisers ( no premiums allowed!) within a 2 week frame.

Dear WG please consider adding "Repair Party" (heal) to Tier VII "Premium" cruiser "Atlanta"!

True, advise is better than complaints, but a lot of players ignore advice, suggestions or requests. The reactions range from simply ignoring, than there's the usual BS like "lol, noob" "stfu" "no, we all should go to one cap and ignore the fact that the enemy team is already capping two and contesting the third". It's - sadly - very rare that players consider advise and follow it, which leads to some frustration.

Again about Germans OP BBs AA defence
Jethro_Grey replied to OOAndreasOO's topic in General Discussion
Agreed. One thing tho: using the Moskva as example is not really a good idea. Reason for this is, that the Moskva can citdel an Imperial Stardestroyer in the Orbit of Coruscant from whatever spot she's here on earth due to ...reasons. -

+1 Personally, i'd prefer smoke over heal, but sonce this is unlikely due to "Flint", i'm supporting this suggestion.- 44 replies

Met Teob_VG (my team) and WarburtonLee (red team) last night on Hotspot. Managed to cap A and sink Warburton ( DesMoines FTW^^), but got surrounded by several ships and sunk after our BBs chickened out of A. So much for being the rear guard.^^ Despite that, still managed second place after Teob, so it was a decent-ish game results wise. There was some friendly banter during the final stages of that match which happens rarely. Met Shaka_D in a previous game - which my team won - on the enemy team in his Leander, he managed to make the top of the list. The game itself would have been a defeat as our BBs - 4 of them - didn't push the C cap but tried to hide behind one Rock. So i pushed the cap in my Konigsberg, sank a Gneisenau and crippled a Cruiser but got stuck on the Island and couldn't reverse fast enough to avoid the torps from the Cruiser. He died seconds later, but if our BBs would have pushed with me, i may have survived that one. Got complimented for that action as it saved us a second cap, and despite being sunk early, managed to do decent in the TVII game. Shaka played the last man standing game quite well. -
?% chance for getting super-container
Jethro_Grey replied to Hades_warrior's topic in General Discussion
Had my first Super container yesterday and got 250 (useless) Signals that increase flooding...which raises the total number of useless flooding chance increase signals to 600.^^ Not complaining tho, it was nice to get the SC and i'm going for surprise containers anyway. -
Again about Germans OP BBs AA defence
Jethro_Grey replied to OOAndreasOO's topic in General Discussion
So, one KM player decided to specc his Bayern for AA and all of a sudden the game is ruined? KM BBs are in most cases easier to drop than US BBs, and i'd rather go for a Bismarck than for a NoCar. I try to avoid spending too much time in the AA aura of any ship, as planes even melt when they're exposed to weaker AA. -
How to make the RN CL's more fun to play
Jethro_Grey replied to Admiral_Jellicoe's topic in General Discussion
You assume that they need buffing...^^ Since WG already stated that they are supposed to be more difficult to play, i doubt that they gonna get a buff - at least not one that is nearly in line with what OP suggested. And if you take a look at the stats for the RN line, it seems not likely at all that WG will touch them anytime soon and even if WG decides to buff the lower tiers, we will not see HE on the RN CL line. Ever. -
we had our issues in the past few months, mostly in regards to server inequality i.e., events that EU did not get (talk like a pirate day - i will never forgive you that one!), the fact that ships got on sale on NA while EU gets a vague promise and of course the fact that you sell shiny tanks on NA and SEA while EU gets the same $hit over and over (where the fu_ck is the TOG?). Despite all that, i never stopped throwing moneys at you and bought all them shiny new ships and tanks. Now, this topic isn't so much about your failures, but a suggestion how you can start to make up for all your past sins, it's basically all about: Commemorative flags The ones you sell in your super-mega-inflated-but-you-can-save-25%-bundles. I can somewhat understand the reasoning behind your bundles policy, but i simply don't have means to buy all the mega bundles. And i'm sure i'm not the only one, now i had a idea that could benefit us players as well as you! Make those flags purchaseable with Dubloons, say 1500-2000 Dubloons per flag. I'd be happiliy buying all ship flags, and while not everyone would do the same, i think that quite a number of players would be tempted to spend some coin to get a flag for their fav ship. Players who just dont want to spend 100-130€ for a Bundle. I'd say win-win. best regards a paying customer^^
