I bought 9 for myself and the first one dropped the Gremy, the only Premium ship which i was missing in my port, the rest where camos and dubloons. No point wasting money after that so i saved quite a bit which i used to buy the Krupp Steyr Waffentrager and the E25 (my preciousssss) in WoT. But you see the same complaints in WoT in regards to the giftboxes for the Holiday Ops event (which i didn't buy a single one as i got to ops rank 9 just buy playing). Folks somehow expect specific items and are quite salty when they don't get them - which is not aimed at the OP, he seems merely disappointed.. While i can understand the disappointment, i do not understand the saltyness and the "WG rippoff and scam" threads here and over there at the WoT forums.

On NA, RU and SEA sure not, on EU otoh...doubtful.

Well yeah, you have to get close to get reliable damaging hits on other ships, take advantage of both the secondary batteries as well as the turtleback armor and in doing so, you get a higher hit percentage. Most of the BBs i play as brawler have a way higher hit% compared to more medium-range-snipers like Amagi.

The secondaries are fine as they are, and they make up for the rather lackluster penetration and accuracy of the main guns.

Muting the chat is the one of the most stupid thing a player can do, and players who ignore the chat usually get reported. Just suck it up.

True, no official statement on the subject. Yet, the possible options are limited and unguided missiles were indeed a thing in WWII. I'd prefer a kraken that eats camping and HE flinging BBs, scond row torping douchebaguettes and HE spamming clusters of CL chickens.

Well, i guess that they didn't have many hot war era ships, and as long it's balanced i'm fine with it. I'm more worried about the new "weapon" type that's supposed to come sometime in 2017...pls no missiles.

While Des Moines is - next to the Cleveland - the most fun ship of the line, other ships can really get fun too. Granted, some of them (Pensacola, New Orleans) are quite situational and can be a chore to play sometimes but when you in the right situation it's hilariously fun with those rather weak ships. Des Moines is in any situation fun as i can either burn whatever i face or AP the crap out of whatever i face.

Possible reasons: fun, Des Moines, different playstyle compared to other cruisers, Des Moines, historical/ personal reasons, Des Moines. There's also Des Moines. If you can do well in TVII - tIX, you'll do very well in the Des Moines and that ship is a beast.

Depends on how much you play. I just finished Santas Convoy and i played one mission each day. It's a bit grindy with all the XP/ base XP grinding tasks, but very well doable.

Buy Scharnhorst, and play for Graf Spee. The former is a good ship, the latter is...a collectors item.

Well, Kamikaze is out for ages on all other servers and has been on sale on multiple occasions. EU is the only who doesn't had her yet, so i've got not much hope.

I do behave myself, but there are these situations where someone - or multiple someones - does something really stupid, displays cowardice par excellence or both. Critizing them, explaining them the basics to make them useful players and valued members of the shafted EU community is one of my declared goals. This leads of course to some misunderstandings after several attempts in a nice fashion to educate them. This leads to "don't sit behind that rock like a effin pu$$y you spineless chicken", which somehow gets perceived as insult instead of what it really is: the umpten-billionth attempt during a match - in a language they do understand - to make those oxygen wasters do something useful. It boggles the mind how many people throw a game just to do something retardedly stupid and than act like spoiled brats and start reporting me for telling them to be useful. Kids these days... ^^

Doubt it, as they said they never gonna sell the trio infernal again. Besides, this is EU...the other servers get the goodies, we'll get excuses. I guess it's better than nothing. ^^

Happy new year to you 2! I know weekends and holidays are horrible, but these days are...i don't even have words. Just had a game on Trap map in the Bastion mode. We had one DD more (3), and since i spawned near 3, i (shima) went there and informed my team. Two guys in a Division started pinging me to cap 2 and as i told them that we need to take advantage of the fact that we have one DD more, they strated threatening to TK me if i leave 3. When i returned to 2 to cap and torp a approaching BB, one of them tried top torp me with his Ibuki. This distraction was enough to allow the enemy Yugomo to kill me ( was at 30% HP after a gunfight with a Atago which i won - so yay that). And both told me, "i promised to TK you and i keep my promises", there was also lots of rambling on how i'm not a team player and l2p and stuff. I guess threatening to team kill and actually attempting to TK makes one a team player. Need to install Aslains again to enable replays, cause these kind of dipshits need to be removed from the game asap. Two absolut douchebags.

Not killing somebody due to having only braindead pussies in my team. Is there a event running "lets throw games in the most stupid way possible" or something? Yes, WG was catering to our needs, be grateful ffs! Weekly missions with very hard conditions, so only few players can get it while other servers get easy ones? ARP missions with ridicilously hard conditions for the average player while other servers get the easy ones? Well, here you go EU - we are catering to your needs! Convoy missions that a lot more players will be able to complete? Nah EU, it's too difficult, let's remove them and put the stuff you'd get just for playing them on sale...no need to thank us, we are catering to your needs EU! We are so spoiling you, aren't we?

WG wouldn't care that much if a few players on the forums stop throwing money at them - a drop of water in the desert. They also don't give a rats a$$ about some players leaving to play on NA. Once the numbers shift enough, and NA becomes the server with the most players, WG EU will start throwing content at us. Even if all the players who participated in this discussion would leave to NA or leave for good, WG wouldn't even notice it. While they sure want to make players stay, they care more about players who haven't joined up yet. By keeping this $hitstorm contained on the forums and on reddit, they can play their game as usual - stalling, trying to sit one out, making pointless and unbelieveable excuses and promises they tend to forget. Raise awareness outside of these platforms, on all boards that have a off-topic or gaming discussion going on, you reach players that don not visit WG forums and far more important potential players who most likely wouldn't consider playing WoWS when they can expect to get shafted on a weekly basis. This would hurt WG way more than a few guys who refuse to spend a few bucks now and than. Keep in mind, WGs main source of income, comes from micro transactions, Dubloons/Prem time that the silent majority buys to progress. You want to hurt them? Spread the word and make it known to a much wider audience - specifically players who do not play WoWS/ WoT yet, that they will get shafted on the EU Server.
