There is currently a offer on the WoWP shop site, with 360 Days of Prem time and 12k Gold for 80€. https://eu.wargaming.net/shop/wowp/specials/5470/ While the Gold can't be used in WoWS, the Prem time can. This offer may be interessting for everyone who plays WoT too, as the Gold is shared between WoT and WoWP. If someone was disappointed by the xmas offers but needs Prem time and plays WoT, this might be for you. If you do not play WoT or WoWP, this will not be a bargain for you at all.

Bogatyr new configuration for commander skills
Jethro_Grey replied to Lukewehr's topic in General Discussion
I bought it, it's a nice ship with decent armor, slow speed and decent guns. -
Thx, fixed the typo.

Lmao! With RL/RPF everybody camps! DDs and Cruisers REVERSE from the span locations, whatever retard invented this should should remove it! This $hit needs to go! Best class to play right now are - as unbelieveable as it sounds - CVs. You will not win, at least not with 11 pu$$ies in your team, but your chances to do damage are somewhat better. As added bonus, when your pu$$y team pisses you off, you can support their demise by setting unrepairable fires and flooding!

MrConway already posted in this thread that the announcement will come later.

RPF / RDF / RADIO LOCATION: The Ultimate Petition To The Devs
Jethro_Grey replied to t3h3th32's topic in General Discussion
signed, this RL/RPF $hit needs to go. -
Can't say i'm a fan of him ( or any other WoWS/WoT YT), but i like his vids and his style (yes, i watch Jingles, Flamu, Aerroon and Quickybaby on a regular basis). He plays - like me - usually very aggressive (tho he is a better player) and he doesn't sugercoat things, which is something i like. When someones a pu$$y, there's absolutely no need to call him a "careful player".^^ He indeed comes occasionally across as being arrogant, but that's what i come to expect from a unicum - in both WoWS and WoT. His guides to the new "frak you" skills was quite useful and i used it as base for my own captain builds.

Feed back from the Facebook debacle today
Jethro_Grey replied to anonym_j17GKWzHKZAZ's topic in General Discussion
I haven't watched it, was busy trying to get used to the new effed up captain skills. Nothing you wrote here surprises me, WG - like many other companys - tries to twist and bend things into a form which most users can digest. And they fail miserably, every single time (xmas convoys spring to mind). And yes, some of the new skills are as shitty as most folks say and i'm not going to write them here as there have been enough threads about them. My verdict: they need to go - asap. You are also right that they indeed changed the meta, for the worse. Now, not only BBs are sitting back like pu$$ies, now cruisers and DDs do the same. Good job WG! -
The relentless drive to try to make us play high tiers continues
Jethro_Grey replied to Admiral_H_Nelson's topic in General Discussion
Fine with the mission tier restrictions, a bit sad cause i wanted to buy the Taiho tomorrow...yet no discount on TIX+ ships. -
Patchnotes. On the Frontpage.

A premium Fiji? Shut up and take my money! Also, all my yes and than some more! We need tis WG, you can has our moneyz.
-
I covered that under ARP eff up. ^^
-
Because they dislike us with passion they have their own opinions on what our needs are and how to cater them they consider kicking someone repeatedly in the groin is spoiling them €U is WGs cashcow they give a flying frak about server equality they don't even give a flying frak about €Us playerbase opinion on the subject of server equality they haven't learned the lesson yet Granted, we only had a few $hitstorms sofar, so we can't expect them to at least try to cater to our needs. Sofar we only had the Kamikaze R eff up, the GNB eff up, the lack of interessting missions with commemorative flags as rewards eff up (still in progress), the ARP eff up, the major royal xmas convoy eff up...and that's only the €U office event eff ups (or so they say). We also have the eff ups on a global level, with RL wall hack leading the scoreboard atm, and a few others. We shouldn't expect any improvement after only 15months, give it time.

The first one for reversing more than 3minutes, while the enemy is more than 15km away The second for maintaining a distance of more than 16km to the closest visible enemy ship, for taking less than 1million possible damage and reversing more than 5minutes while the closest visible enemy ship is more than 15km away. Also, for using more than 3HE salvos per game. Accumulating 5 of the first ribbons or three of the second grants you the commemorative flag which will auto equipped on all ships in port and is not removeable for 5 games. In case the offender gets another of these ribbons in his 16th game, he will have it equipped permanently as well get [Chicken] to their nick. Once he past 20 games with his chicken playstyle, he gets a dark purple color - similar to TK - and have [Chicken King] added pemanently to his Nick and Account (applies to WoWS, WoT, WoWP and every other WG title henceforth). Yep, that'll do. ^^

Been there, done that. No idea why they aren't ingame yet, considering how much thought and effort i put into these: and a commemorative Flag to go with the Ribbons:

Do we get the chicken flag as well?

gave the Bayern the camo Bismarck used? Cause it looks a lot like it...or iz i wrong?
-
It's obvious, that you really didn't read what i posted, and also don't seem to play a lot of high tier games.
-
You make the assumption that the new skills encourage teamplay. They will not as all the tools needed for teamplay were already in the game ever since it went live, it's just that players found new ways to abuse mechanics to create a $hitty meta. There will be rarely if ever teamplay enough - apart from Divisions. WG heard the complains, analized the data and drew the wrong conclusions, which is why we have new stupid skills nobody wants to have. RPF completly screws over an entire class of ships, not to mention everybiody who does not use it.
-
Wrong actually, while the latter group - the one part of my post you didn't quote - will end up with $hitty results, the other one will have decent.
-
Welcome to the new meta. Cause that's exactly what's going to happen with the new skills, and while i do not endorse this kind of behaviour, i can understand it. The question a lot people will ask themselfs are: Why would i want to be the first to get detected? So the enemy can focus me instead of the guys who have armour? Why should i be the one taking the lead and be the sacrificial lamb? It's one thing playing a Shima with 8km torps, knowing that there are Radar Cruisers in the game. Radar is not always on, CV/ Spotter planes have cooldowns. Playing the Shima under these circumstances is a calculated risk, yet you have more than enough possibilities to stay hidden and ambush someone when your team plays the camping game. With RPF they will always know where you are, they will always know from which direction they can expect torps. And as long you're the closest ship to the enemy, you are basically neutered from the get go. So yeah, i can understand OP and i do believe that this $hit skill will change the meta for the worse.

Type 16 Camouflages. Pay more for less!
Jethro_Grey replied to SerPurr's topic in General Discussion
Yep, the only ones buffed to 50% with the previous patch were the Xmas camos and the New Years camos. Camouflages Added a special expendable camouflage "New Year 2017" that gives a 200% bonus to Free XP per battle. In version 0.5.16, this camouflage can be resupplied in the game client for 5 Doubloons. Increased the XP bonus provided by the permanent New Year (2015/2016) camouflages of Cleveland, Minekaze, Nürnberg and Gnevny from +30% to +50%.- 18 replies

Note about captain retraining cost (BE CAREFUL!)
Jethro_Grey replied to cro_pwr's topic in General Discussion
At this point no, but it has the potential to become a $hitstorm of the same magnitude. In regards to OP, i have 170 ships in my port so i have not much room for error for my captain builds. -
Hm, seems like WG managed to patch in some bugs.
-
Good to know, now i can use IFHE in conjunction with RPF and CE on all my rapid firing cruisers. How long will it take 'till folks who haven't used the forums previously start a raging $hitstorm on the forums due to these new skills?
