Complex problem, the solution is simple really. Play the first two games in coop, get your first and second victory and then switch to randoms. Problem solved, you’re welcome.

RN DD hype!!! I do hope however that WG releases them with RM Cruisers to avoid screwing with the MM. Besides, I have an Italian captain ready for the RM Cruisers, so bring it WG. -
Yep, this whole „my country’s navy was awesum ur‘s was not“ crap is annoying. It’s a game ffs, and as far as i‘m concerned, people who show to much of that deserve to get mocked till kingdom come. Let the mocking continue.

How is that bad? it‘s Just a different design philosophy. Back on topic: since OP told us how awesume-esque the boats of the RM were, I went to the wiki and skimmed over some articles. Apart from their newer designs getting their teeth kicked in by RN pre WWI designs and guarding their harbor, the RM didn’t see much action. Considering the 0 impact the RM had in WWII it shouldn‘t be in the game atm, or should have been introduced the same time the othe navy with 0 impact would have been introduced: the Swiss Navy. Which raises the question : why are RM BBs so strong when irl they got steam rolled by ships that were obsolete by WWII standards?

I‘m fine with OP Italien BBs getting secondary range buffs as long Bismarck and Tirpitz ( and all other German ships for that matter) are getting historically accurate guns ( a sigma of 3.0 should suffice ^^), the ability to detonate enemy ships with each shell (it’d be historical ) and a consumable which, once activated automagically makes all enemy’s crap their pants and run for their p00per.

Arty nerfed? It changed the way plays and reduced the damage output ( on lower tier artsy) but introduced a even worse stun mechanic ( for non artsy). I have no doubt, that CVs after the rework will be as annoying as they are now, just like arty is as annoying if not more than it was before.

Working as intended. If you occupy someone else‘s smoke, it‘s your responsibility to watch where you shoot. You didn‘t seem to take into account that your team mates might move in the smoke, which quite common. So yeah, it’s on you. But as mentioned above, keep a low tier ship around and work your pink status off in lower tiers. Personally, I never had issues sharing my smoke screens, however in the past few months i‘m hesitant to smoke up near allies, simply because I do not want to be shot at by people who fail to check whether i might catch shells from them or even get pushed out of my own smoke. And i made a habit out of it, when I get set on fire i let it burn to maximize the team damage penalty for the perpetrator. If people can‘t be arsed to watch where they are driving or shooting, I can‘t be arsed to share smokes or extinguish fires set by a friendly. -

Despite being usually not too concerned with Radar ships when playing DDs, this becomes really annoying. WG should have known that beforehand and introduced BB missions to counter the radar spam or keep it at least in check. I said it many times before, I say it again: releasing a new line is nice and dandy and of course always welcome, it does however frak up the MM for very long periods which is not welcome at all. I wouldn‘ mind waiting a bit longer for WG to release two lines at once , preferably lines which counter each other. This suggestion is of course not ideal, but WG seems to be willing to take any route except the direct one: fixing the MM itself to balance radar ships distribution for both teams.

True, but I still like to angle my ship to present a smaller target area and to avoid the mistake I once made in my Leander... counting on the AI Aoba to shoot HE at me while I turn...it turns out, unlike many players, the AI knows to shoot AP at broadsides. ^^ -

Don‘t play BBs, play Cruisers instead. With careful positioning you can exploit the fact that the AI follows the same path. Your ship can move, so use the WASD keys now and than and you‘ll be able to stay angled most of the time. Don‘t sail towards the enemy, position yourself in a way where you can stay angled and can kite them. Try to git gud, once you‘re gud, try to become even gudder. If all fails, try playing WoT. -

I can only imagine the fun we‘d have if all lower tier ships had their historical torpedo armaments. All the t3 BBs that would try to torp DDs...not to mention all the team killing...it‘d be hilarious. -
The RP on the Abruzzi is about as useful as a EDIT stained fork, and I doubt it will be much different on the Boise. No idea how the playstyle changes on the Grozovoi. So i‘m fine with the RP. Could be radar, which is far worse.

As much as I want RN DDs, I just hate what new released lines do to the MM for weeks. It would make much more sense, if WG would release two different lines at the same time, in this case RN DDs and RM CAs. It would be a balancing factor and MM wouldn‘t be flooded with one class.

Why using oil as a gauge to determine how much coal/steel a player should get is quite a poor method & strategy.

I‘m somewhat fine with the way WG implements this - at least atm - there’s one question tho that keeps me awake at nights ( not really^^): will WG use the total undistributed amount of oil for the conversion or the total accumulated and spend oil as well? Cause there’s a big difference between these two values even tho i‘m the only active clan member as of now. -
