I have sunk 20 euros into this game once to buy my first 5500 dublouns and refuse to sink a cent more into the game. That having been said I agree with the original complaint. It does not feel right you have to pay that much money to convert the XP you have already earned.

Historically SAP carried a much bigger explosive charge which it could carry through light armour. So it did more damage than AP and could penetrate better than HE. Don't know how this works in the game.

I am new to this forum, so probably this has been asked before. Ignore if you wish. What are the noobiest things you see in WoWs? And what truly annoys you? Just a couple: Starting hydro at 20 Kms from enemy Firing torps from way beyond max range Firing torps hitting team members in the back DDs flanking to find enemy CV, not contributing in entire game and getting sunk by aircraft DDs not even attempting cap Entire team not attempting cap Ships moving back at start of game (that really pisses me off) Curious what you have seen.

I agree on most of what you say, except that it's not fun. I relish the challenge and excitement! Yeah I sometimes die early, but not even that often. Yep I lose hp early in the game. And hell yeah, I get frustrated with noob teams giving no support. But playing DDs is imo the best game in town, so I suffer the rest gladly.

I don't really get that. I find DDs the most interesting class to play as it gives you lots of initiative. Sure, one in ten games truly suck because you have a team, but these games suck anyways.

Yeah, forgot about that 'tier fear'. Hate that.

I often ask French DDs accompanying me if they want smoke. Great combo, me spotting in low detect DD and Frenchy pumping away in my smoke. Win-win 😋

Good topic! I have been trying to give more compliments lately, as they are also visible to the person you compliment. I see them sometimes and really enjoy the extra recognition of a game well played. I do report people sparingly without regret. Foul language on the chat and really shitty gameplay. Examples: people flatly refusing reasonable support, ships camping all game, etc. I don't report stupid mistakes as we all sometimes make those. I try to report only intentional nasty behaviour. I rarely report afk, and really doubt if you should. But in ranked battles I do report afk, as I feel you should not play ranked if you have a risk of afk.

The Japanese used their long Lance torpedoes for long range 'browning' attacks. Sank 2 Dutch cruisers at Java Sea that way.

Torpedoes got net cutters on their fronts and cut through nets as if they were not there. In addition, nets damaged by gun fire could indeed foul the scews.

Very often I am the only one on the chat communicating my moves and intentions. Other 11 players silence, 'I need intelligence data' or complaints.

The 'pipes' are the beams for the torpedo nets. They were used in exposed harbours to avoid surprise attacks like Port Arthur 1904. The crossed thing at the back I don't know. Could it be life buoys?

I use free XP exclusively to research modules and train commanders in new ships.

I hate these situations, the lazy cruiser firing torps into you from behind. I don't believe it is malice though, sheer noobness. I report them, rant in chat and move on. Just one of these things.
