I like the dockyard. One geek remark though: the order in which the ship is built is plain wrong. They build it from bottom to top, while in real life it is keel, frames, plating, decks, and only then barbettes, machinery, superstructure, etc. Side armour was often only attached after launch. As PR is built in dock and has internal armour, it probably would be added earlier, but anyways. It looks stupid.

My advice: use all your compliments every day. That's what I try to do anyway.

Question: why are you playing radar tiers (8 and up) after only 855 battles? Go down a few tiers and git gud.

Hi, I am starting to build a collection of mid-tier DDs. Which do you find best in each tier? I prefer generalist DDs, with decent concealment, decent torps (range > detection range + 1 km) and decent gun power. Edited for clarity

Good for you My guess is the average player is so wrapped up in doing well on their side for once does not even care about losing the game. The times I requested reinforcement in chat I got ignored or salt.

It would be silly if a DD could kill off a plane attack on its own. But I find Grovs AA useful compared to most others.

Grovozoi AA isn't bad.

My experience is that no-one on a well performing flank is ever going to the flank under pressure. Never ever. It would require too much intelligence and sacrifice from our average player.

I had fun so wouldn't mind. Probably needs a few adjustments, rewards were quite high.

I played Lightning up to rank 4 and met 4 CVs, won 3 of the battles. After first 2 I changed playstyle. Instead of rushing for the CV I went left or right and tried to stay unspotted for as long as possible. Goal was to close the range as much as possible to shorten time subjected to rockets. Worked well except once when faced with a good player. Had much fun against one Enterprise that went for the cap in frustration. Got to him real quick and managed the kill just in time as he was quite good. I must have spoiled his perfect record

66 battles. Up to rank 4 in Lightning. After that in Cleveland. I actually thought it was good fun and it tought me quite a bit about the various ships.

Today I finished D3 and got Gorizia. Counter says I will reach 26/36.

Sorry if this has been asked before. I started playing WoWs again 3 months ago after 1 year break. 90% of my games so far have been in DDs which I find by far the most fun class to play. I now want to play some BB games again, so I am wondering which nations to develop. So: which are your favourite T9 and T10 BBs?

D2 finished yesterday, will take my time for D3. I think it is not that bad if you forget about PR and just go for Gorizia. Team play not as bad as I expected, 60%winrate last week. Will not spend 1 cent on WG though.

Interestingly, I am having my best run ever. 60% winrate recently and all my stats going up. My thought would be change ship to something that really works for you. I am now playing mix of Lighting, Grovozoi, Mino and Ibuki. A couple of weeks ago I did terribly with Gearing and a few others. RNG I suppose.

They are challenging to play, but that's also the fun. A lot depends on the skill of the first enemy DD you meet and the support of your own and the enemies team. Prepare 10 different scenarios for first contact, and decide in half a second your response: flight or fight.

I had a disastrous string of defeats in Gearing. Als, Neptune got very bad at some point. Still trying to get US cruisers to work properly.
