Well, just to give a different perspective: I thought the old ranked was a crazy grind. I am not saying all is well with the new system, but at least I find it less painful than the old. Y'all remember that WG was begged on this forum to change the old ranked system? And people much preferred the sprints? Well, they tried to do what was asked for

I know, it's weekend. But it's really frustrating to only have teams that just float around doing stupid stuff

Well, I did enjoy silver. Just qualified for gold, curious how that will pan out.

I think the new ranked system is OK. Just ranked out in silver, gonna try qualify for gold now. Quality of teams in silver seems better than in bronze, but still variable. I see useless players quite frequently. I am curious how this will be in gold. After this season I will make up my mind for next one. Although 1600 gold is attractive for a F2P player.

Just a question: are you F2P? Eg, no premium time, no buying ships for real money? If so, I assume you have experienced that as you grind through the lines you are limited by the XP or the credits you earn.

You seem to have little understanding of F2P economics. If you grind everything you have in this game, you are always short on silver or XP.

I find silver quite challenging. Still some patatos, but not too many. As I have avoided T10 ranked as the plague before, I am still learning. Did not know Plymouth had smoke and radar, so that sent me back to port one game Am playing Daring. Starting to like her. Bought her the permaflage for 5K gold.

I think WG roughly understands what it is doing to the game but think this is the easiest way to farm roubles, and f..k the long term viability of the game.

Yeah, rediculous. It may have something to do with the fact that those who don't camp and farm damage think team play will lead to more success and fun.

So far I think it's fine. Bronze was pretty easy to do with the many ranks you can't lose. Even qualifying for silver wasn't too bad, even though it's T9-10. I have gotten the hang of Daring now and quite enjoy her. Played Shima, Gearing and Groz previously, and they did not fully click for me. I miss getting all the signals for ranks up to 10, but like it that it's easier to farm some dublouns. Let's see what the mix of players vs patatos is in silver league.

Yeah, that's good advice. I already notice with the builds from the wiki that I sometimes have different preferences, and it is good to have a second set to see some possible variations.
