My point is: you don't need full redesign to make things considerably better. Just some simple tweaks that end CV invulnerability, endless supply of planes, immunity from AA etc. -

I agree with the OP. CVs have been dumbed down excessively and imo some really easy fixes could make it a lot more sensible. Really dumb that WG has made it so dumb. Even dumber they haven't made said easy fixes in the past few years. Dumb and dumber. -
I usually play DD. Another irritating thing is when entire team does nothing, I contest a cap and die because the other DD does get support from their team and one of the campers presses F11. The mindless sense of entitlement of some people to be carried flawlessly every game

War is hell. In naval battles hundreds of men could be burned, maimed, drowned etc. No need to make this game realistic in that sense imo.

There are differences in the replies you get. I believe that if they say they have taken action, they actually do something. I have also received messages saying they monitor the situation. -

You know these days. All your teammates seem to have just escaped from the asylum. Your DD is sailing backwards, your radar cruiser is trying to farm damage from 20 klicks away, your BB has Deadeye and a dead brain. You have just suffered through half a dozen games of utter madness and you are starting to lose it. What ship do you fall back on that will pretty reliably save your game? Which ship will allow you to have a decent time even if your entire team has a combined IQ of less than a 100? For me it is Lightning, Gadja and Fiji. Whatever happens, I can have a decent game in them 9 games out of 10. So, what are your ships of last refuge? And CVs don't count, you perverts

Met @OldschoolGaming_YouTube yesterday in his Kutuzov in epicenter game. Battle started bad with DD nearest the rings being afk for first 1 or 2 minutes, then sailing away from rings, finally entering and being instantly deleted. Rest of the team was not much good either, so it was one of those games that you simply cannot carry. Oldschool topped the leader board while I tried to save what we could of the game in my Fiji -
Interesting! Much more variety than I would have guessed. So I guess there are great differences in play style and ships that go with that. Go figure if we could actually learn from each other how to make all these very different ships effective

An experienced player who opens up a new account. Sometimes to start with shiny new clean stats without legacy, sometimes to have a second account to try out some stuff etc. -

Not my experience, but then I play DD. I sometimes switch caps with open water boats (IJN or French) to take the hardest cap. What I do see is the usual idiots in all classes. Thunderers that go to the map edge, radar cruisers going for the easy instead of the contested cap, DDs that die within 2 minutes and yolo's. -

I liked Nürnberg, but later German line is no longer very attractive. Shchors is interesting but squishy and gives access to Rus balans cruisers. I did not like Dallas, but Cleveland after that is good. New Orleans is OK, but leads to good Balti and Des Moines. -
