Burn out is a problem with WoWs, because the game is grindy by design. Some important advice to keep things manageable: - enjoy the journey. The end goal is T10, which is not the most pleasant place from fun perspective. - so find a couple of ships and tiers you enjoy, and play those for at least half your games. - limit the number of grinds you do simultaneously. I do 2 or 3 grinds at a time, be they ships or events. - if playing WoWs feels like a chore, stop playing or play something you enjoy. Last but not least: do not spend money on WoWs. WG is a nasty company that happily squeezes their customers for money. They actively design their game to frustrate you into spending money. Their pricing is outrageous. Their deception and scummy practices are only kept in check by consumer laws and customer backlash which they believe may hurt their sales.

I expect WG to be scummy and am not disappointed

I think you are too generous to WG. In my humble opinion they show a poor track record in acting on feedback and have a habit of pushing through bad ideas even when the entire community warns them not to. The marketing and finance guys have way too much influence at WG.

They listen to feedback when it suits the suits

You don't need to be in front of the cruiser, just at a reasonable range. Too often I see BBs too far in the back to give effective support, or behind islands with very limited effective firing angles.

There is some confusion here between range dials and range clocks. A range dial is the device seen on the French ships. At least RN and USN ships also carried these. Earlier the RN had also used range drums. A range clock is a very different device, which was used to predict the enemy range for the next salvo. It was an early analog calculator

This game unfortunately will not hit bottom. WG will just keep digging a deeper hole

2 cheers .... A lot of the 'evolution' is not good for the game and other ways of development would be better for the long term viability of the game. But WG is hellbound on milking this game for short-term profit like there is no tomorrow. And I do evolve with the game, but don't always like it. Take care!

There is no WG communications gap. WG claims there is a communications gap when their ham fisted attitude has become so blatant and obvious that it becomes a problem for them. Then they claim it was a communications failure when in their view the only failure was that people were not fooled by their obfuscations. Unless I am very mistaken, WG is controlled by accountants who try to maximise profits. They don't give a rats a$$ about the game or player experience. Experienced players who are pee'd off by this are ignored. It does not matter to their small brains that these are long term customers who have supported their game for years. Their spreadshit tells them more profit can be had by attracting new customers. So the old guard. Now you may not like this. You may be disappointed. But it does not seem to weigh very heavily on their minds. Their next month's targets do.
