I appreciate your responses, even if I do not agree with all you say. I also agree that a lot of feedback you get is unconstructive or even outright rude. Also, I am always willing to give WG a chance IF WG is truly committed to change. However, this forum and its members have endured a lot a b.s., dubious practices and being ignored. For WG to regain trust and respect it has to show sincerity, results and honesty. I assume you can go back to your post yourself and identify which parts of it are not convincing to that standard.

Well, personally I would love to believe that WG has turned a corner and truly wants to listen to and work with the player community. However, I hope you understand that it will take time, some serious effort from WG and consistent credibility of WG actions before the implosion of WG credibility and reputation will even begin to be reversed. I am struggling to find polite words, but let me phrase it like this: WG actions have been less than satisfactory of late. In view of the track record, I will judge by your actions, not by your words.

Agree with git gud, but also think overmatch mechanics are silly and should be removed. Shipbuilding steel is 10-15 mm. Any 6" shell could penetrate normal plating with base fused he. The current messing around with 27, 30, 32 mm steel is bullcrap.

OK I will bite. Two things: - Why would WG do this? What is in it for them? - with a statistical normal distribution winning and losing streaks is what you would expect. If you would NOT see that, I would suspect MM to be rigged. Especially with big differences in player skill

The corporate culture at WG is toxic. Toxic cultures are self sustaining, as people who object to it leave out of themselves or are forced to. WG will not change. Accept this for fact and decide accordingly what you want with WoWs.

This is what happened before and what WG counted on. They lie down low for a couple of days until the storm passes. They toss a few goodies to the players to placate them. And they continue as before. However, for a substantial part of the player base their reputation has been damaged. Trust comes by foot but leaves on horseback. My personal opinion of WG is now very low, I find it a nasty company with unethical and predatory behaviour. There will be many more like me. So, goodwill towards WG has taken a hit. Does that change anything? Not really. WG will not change. Firms with a toxic culture never do unless they become unprofitable. And even then they mostly fold, not change. So that's it. You have to choose your own position on this. Don't think you can force WG to change its ways.

If you don't mind doing 26 wins every 2 weeks. For me it's too much. I found even silver a bit too much last season. So I am staying in bronze for now.

I do see this differently. Mistakes are made in any organisation. What is important is how you respond to mistakes. This response I find adequate, contrary to what we usually get from WG. What I do see is a failure in corporate culture. This can only have happened in a toxic corporate culture, where players and contributors are viewed with disdain and disrespect. So I applaud this response as a welcome breath of air from the usual bile. I am extremely sceptical that WG will be able to repeat this standard in any consistent way.

Thank you. This is what a real, credible apology looks like. Now this was most likely the action of a minor employee. Unfortunately, my experience is that when WG makes a real mistake at a higher level, apologies are of a different character: shifty, obfuscating and insincere. I strongly recommend WG apply the sincere standard of communication to all your actions. The level of trust among long term players will then hopefully start to recover from it's current abysmal level.

I prefer to play solo. It does require some mental preparedness though
