1000m/s muzzle velocity to be precise and as far as we know for now detectability range was set to 7.56 from the surface I'd love that radar for dem pure trolling that ship would have become with it [and AA barrage acually she deserves AA barrage more than that radar...] one think I can say for sure akizuki won't do well in "meta" DD roles she is escort ship after all and with specs we have given for the moment being this is how she should be played -

0.5.12 PTS patch notes to be precise they are nerfing all DD armors to "help akizukis 100mm to deal damage to them" [and BB small caliber secondaries ofc] which by itself is worrying as per chinese datamining akizuki guns were meant to have buffed he penetration of 19mm in which case such a hing would not pose a problem.... -

Please note the forum link to the US servers for an EU support ticket; and a dead link at that. So there you have it, no compensation planned. if someoen asked me they are talkign about compensations in case you didn;t liked new ships at all and wanted being "refunded" al credits/expies etc. from them or doubloons from perma camos in any other case this copy-paste over ther stands in direct oposition to every single other piece of official information.... -
if you ask me WoT will never sound better as soon as there are stuff like - T4 medium tank which can either chose gun "specialised" into penetration or into damage , and the straight techline uprage to T5 of said tank, while still being medium tank have not only gun superior in every aspect to both those "Specialised" guns but also having more than enought damage capability to oneshot it's precedessor without the latter being able to do a crap about this.... also kv-5 as for armor reductions to DDs - there are exacly two types of guns that will anyhow care about this - small caliber secondary guns of some cruisers/battleships and akizukis main guns assuming "regular" penetration scheme of her HE ammo (16mm pen) instead of datamined 19mm in the former case most of those have such pitifull range and accuracy that if you are clsoe enought to notice difference you are as a destroyer doign something awkwardly wrong..... in the latter case I'd be actually more troubled about akizukis main guns HEbeing able to reliably damage anythign bigger than DD.....

yay so if I will be only idiot crazy enought to set sails on fubu I'll never find a match? [or in mutsuki for the first "bracket"......] EDIT: when you think about itsuch solution is 100% killing of unpopular ships participation on the rankeds only for the sake of "they are not popular"....

@it3llig3nc3 and the a "little bit before" in the battle of tsushima japanese fleet have rekt russian fleet and showed their superior maneuverability by crossing the T not once but TWICE [and by thus showing 2x of the firepower to the russians than they could possibly throw back - not to mention both fleets at that point being in the line formation meaning quite much that while japanese had al lthe guns on the enemy formation, only the first ship of said formation have any reliable guns on them] but then we again hit the wall or rl guns being pretty accurate when it comes to bearing onto enemy fleet, but due to physics of a floating brick on the water firing stuff from its above staiblising elevation was problematic leading into lack of range accuracy on salvos meaning that it was easier to score any hit on a ship sailing bow on than on the ship showing broadside and the wall is that in WoWs for some reason is it oposite puttign us in al lthe awkward situations.... [for example tactic meant to fast close into prefered range used as main way of minimising enemy damage on you] end then - in the end - all of these sums up into one big "It's arcade game not naval simulation" so if everyone kept that in mind forums and chats woudl be much less toxic I think..... -

it is not like IJN destroyers would care as they were the only destroyers in WW2 carrying not only reloads but beign able to reload in combat scenario...... [each of "newer" ships had no less than what was in launcher + at least 1 reload, some had more] -
yeah I think this is interesting scenario to think about - a player who have kept alot of destroyers from IJN tech tree.... for example I have mutsuki, fubuki and intend to get back hatsuharu [sold her at some point to get creds for new ship >.>] so with the rule of "keeping both" I should have got t5 mutsuki, 2x t6 fubuki, t6 hatsuharu, t7-akatsuki and t8 kagerou? [or will they take away from me "my favourite ships" mutsuki and hatsu because they go alt line? ] [that double fubuki is also interesting case if you get my drift ]

that reminded me that one hatsuharu that were chasing enemy battleships aroudn the map and when called to cap answered only that the ship class is named destroyer because it's meant to destroy things..... we lost on points of course.... >.> -
it's funny when you compare the asia region news with EU region news on that..... I think our news have like... 1/3rd of these things listed?

I'd only like to point out that on the promo vids for new IJN DDs we can see hatsu permacamo on at least one of new T7 ships....

big AP shell penetrating the turet blowing it all hp out in one hit but not hitting anything else in the ship = turret blown up with no damage to the ship

last time I checked turret destruction required turret hp being brought down to 0...... could be wrogn though as with everything without official WG statement on how it works....

also historically scounting was a job of cruisers....... dun dun DUN! -
and then again, my błyski dislikes engaging tashkents used to be very carefull when approaching kievs as well but then WG nerfed Kiev..... of course since I haven't bothered with russian destroyers I am in no position to judge if tashkent is still whan it used to be, but as I haven't got a chance to fight against one in quite a bit of time I can only say how my previous encounters have ended.....

technically speaking we have one map of this kind.... [polar lights or sth like that... basically north but at night]

welp I dunno how in competitive tarms you define "relevant" AA but on randoms I had no issue pewpewing planes out of the sky in my fubuki [t8 planes of shoka that is] sure it won't be onslaught like in case of some heavier AA ships but decent enougth to me.... dive bombers with their rng hits may be issue, and more often than not I don't have much issues with dodging torp dropped from only two torpedo bomber squadrons.....

what I want being done with detonations is making their kaboom much bigger [few days ago when I landed with my fubu in tX battle and when going from capping one point to the other I've stumbled upon two evemy fletchers, knowing I have no chance to win this I tried to escape while damaging the closest one as much as possible and then...... bams devastating strike - during that gunfight the other fletcher turned behindisland so he did not have line of fire on me..... chat reactions of literally everyone was.. interesting although I've felt a little bit bad for that fletcher....]

welp not exacly, KNTAI failed to capitalise advantage of third DD [fubuki] when they have deployed her and later just swapped ships that other fubuki [Fog team iirc?] have managed to get out of equasion a chapayev with well placed torp spread into the smoke... [and iirc as they seemed to going to win that match for a moment but I had to go off the screen for a while and when Icame back they've already lost.....
