I must say I have bought kagerou and started retraining my only ijn 15p cap for her for that takao mission.... well I like this boat, even considering the fact that I don't have like all my skills due to retraining, she handles [in randoms] quite good for me. getting used to quadruple launchers takes some time though actually I haven't noticed much differene in gameplay between how I played fubuki and how I play kagerou with only exception being quadruple launchers and..... torp reload consumable [PS. it could be my attitude oward whole idea based on forum talks and captain being in retraining ]

if you ask me hell yeah it is [just got 15th captain point today, do not have EM nor TAE, got CE and I really enjoy 5.5km detectability range ]

well while direct damage done may be small by itself the indirect damage [spotting forcing them to turn the broadside with torps] is nothing to be laught at also mutsuki can give a very valuable lessons in terms of "when and how to use guns" which will get very usefull in higher tiers [i have once roasted fubuki while driving hatsuharu because fubuki captain was still mentaly in "ijn do not fire their guns" phase] the only version of mutsuki I hated was the very stock hull with stock everything - once I've got B-hull and upgraded torps she was ok with C-hull and upgraded guns - I fell in love also I had alot of fun in that winstreak of 3 matches in current season of ranked battles - a little bit sad that it took me only 3 matches to get out of t6 brackets.... and tbh this was the very first season when I actually regretted that leaving t6 bracket happened so fast.....

I have just read "description" and of akizuki and I wonder who the heck was writing this.... " Among the drawbacks of the ship were the relatively weak torpedo armament and an insufficiently high speed." firstly of all, the original plans for akizuki class did not involved torpedoes at all - that single launcher was added when they have realised that they can actually fit it and not loose much on it secondly and more importantly the akizuki speed was SUFFICIENT for her designed role - nothing that makes anyone's jaw drop but SUFFICIENT for the task [let me remind to those that could have forgot that akizuki was designed as an escort anti-aircraft ship - her main role was to stick to big friendlies and give them some increased protection from hostile aircraft]

welp the only situation like this I had was today when one benson have spend all the match chasing enemy CV was whining about big chunk of team who fell back to protect CV from flanking enemy destroyers and end up slightly higher on exp in the end.... I mean - I have taken away 3 out ot heir 4 big gun ships in single torp salvo in late game.... >.> [and also was one of those who went to protect CV from enemy fubuki and benson - made it in time to help kill fubu as benson have failed miserably in duel with NC.....] after all he got that CV though so maybe thats why >.>

to give a cruiser a "runaway" tool without giving him "smoke spamming" tool at least thats the only reason I can see that seems be somewhat logical I mean - with their weirdish ap shells I do see how WG would prefer them to not sit in smoke DD style spamming that wonky ap on stuff but on the other hand they are light cruisers after all and they need a tool to break out of unwanted encounters agains BBs and thats the only way how that smoke cloud can be viably used actually to pop it while disengaging BB to dissappear and reappear on the other side of the map....

welp the main question here is if that reshuffle happens in the middle of ranked battles season or after it and then I'd say - rebuy it, I need someone to play it as well thanks for 100% mirror MM...

you mean in game or historically? [confused] historically [taking the subs out of euasion because I have no frikkin idea whre those were built] at least half ships of WW2 were actually french built [speaking of "as many" in % ways] in game.... ah right that t3 prem DD was bought from US ^-^ but I have heard alot of good stuff on warspite though welp we all know that russina DDs are CLs in disguise... [j/k] well in random battles they may have top stats in case of damage and winratio but they lack concealment to participate in "classical" DD gameplay - capfights welp technically speaking there is no polish tech tree so I'm not sure if we can compare it to other tech trees....

with that attitude toward forum debates you'll only end up as being disregarded in any discussion on this forum by default. the base unwritten rule on any constructive discussion [not only forum ones but also those in real life ya know] is that if you are making claims [note - make claims not expressing opinion] you are supposed to back thsoe claims with some sort of evidence. throwing claims around and refusing to provide any evidence is primarily sign of either lack of any evidence to back the claim in the first place, or not treating discussion anyhow seriously and in both cases it cranks up your credibility as a discussion participant. just a friendly warning so you won't be surprised if soon™ people will call you out as a troll on your very entrance to discussion as for high tier IJN destroyers state? everything I could say on the matter has been already told... multiple times

all torpedo laucnhers somewhat "suffers" from randomised "distribution" of torpedoes within spread some either does not have enought range, speed or have enought torpedoes in spread to not be as visible as this.....

for testing purposes for easy distinction between current ships and their "revamped" models welp I'm curious what stats have changed [if any] between the phases of testing

on destroyers: educate yourself before making any claims - as for the current state of the game USN DDS are considered "best" out there as for German Battleships one tech tree battleship have torpedoes [t7] and two prems have it [t8 and t7? if memory serves?] and USN BBs still have superior AA

not all destroyers have such unparalel capping capabilities I'm quite convenient that there is alot of cruisers that could do capping better than russian destroyers [when solo that is] as for border hugging destroyers spamming torps from max range? haven't seen such even once battleships on the other hand......

I spot torp spammer here [t10 torps are pricey and shima is quite good at throwing them off in massive amounts - actually if memory server the pricing of torpedo munition for T10 was one of the very first steps to try to calm the issue of so whined about "torpedo soup" but you can see how much people cared about it anyway.....]

if you are dumb enougth to sail alone with her then I agree but if you are smart enought to stick close to yer friendlies then I'd say lolnope

delaying enemy action - and fully upgraded totally outguns minekaze [not to mention it can actually deal with planes above her head..... mutsuki hull C with upgraded guns is really good hull, I dunno why you said "stupid enought".... it is not fubuki, mutsu C hull gives actuall imporvements

armor nerf is destroyer wide nerf nothing specific to russian ones.....
