I dont own her but kiting sounds about right when uptiered , i read on the wiki that her armor belt extends alot further on the stern , so she is more tanky when kiting? (Would like to see the armor viewer). I also like tanking with my stern in the GC , as she is alot more armored in the butt

works for japanese torps , but with usn torps u dont have alot of reaction time , unless you are using Vigilance.

That why i said she is a mix of USN/RU DD . The optimal way to play her now for me (as i dont have CE on her yet) , is to follow a good concealment dd into a cap and support him

Without propulsion mod you are a really easy target for torps in smoke

BB's can be broadside to u , the dreadnoughts at that tier will let most 152mm ap shells shatter even if broadside, Shatter means , it tried to pen but the armor was to thick.

Stock vs stock , the aigle out dpm's the gadjah mada on paper + the extra hp and torps that can connect dd's , you could win a 1 vs 1. Couple this with AR+BFT with the special commander you get the following figures @ Half hp Aigle = 60 / 3.6* 5 * 2000 = 166666.66 DPM where 3.6 is the reload thanks to BFT + AR Gadjah =60 / 4 * 6 * 1700 = 153000.0 DPM where 4.0 is the reload with BFT + Normal AR And the gap grows with the special AR on french captain as you go lower. What does this mean? On Paper , the aigle is a excellent dd hunter except for her own turrets fighting u and have to be full broadside to use the dpm advantage . Needless to say though that concealment will give the enemy destroyer the opening salvo. Dont know why people think u should play her as a RU DD. For me she is a mix of USN/RU DD

i will be playing gunboats when this comes out , no need to play anything else because who will cap then? the 3 noob ashasios on your team only looking to farm damage . i doubt it

You can try deleting preferences.xml in root game folder, make a backup , if u do this the game will reset all settings. My preference.xml got corrupted after power failure while logging in EDIT: saw you got it fixed

Its not easy but i love a challenge , always nice to get arsonist or wither'er in a t6 cruiser , beating everyone on the scoreboard . Feels good man..

100k each game??? @cro_pwr Never really got to aoba yet , she seems like an ok cruiser tho. This is true , i usually don't like IFHE in competitive because you cant "spam" bb's to death reliably , all you want is a fire , then slip back into stealth . I don't run it on Belfast , the benfits are not worth it esp with the low fire chance. But on the cleveland and buddy its fine with the high firechance already

the recent buff to the pensacola made it a monster :P , people wasting so much salvos on me aswell... evasion tanking at its finest . You just have to know how to tease bb's , flashing your pretty citadel to the bb hordes lel I can almost feel their frustration , and best of all when they do get a hit on me and its an overpen oh the salt

And cv's love going for U) manual secondaries( i don't think this is competitive but could be worth it on this ship..)
