    Ludendorff for?

And up to 1918 they were part of the Russian Empire, for centuries. In the narrative of the Soviet regime, 1918 to 1940 was just a 22 year intermezzo due to Soviet weakness due to Civil War. There's far less basis for ships like the Trento and Zara classes, which were Italian for barely over 10 years.

    Ludendorff for?

Worst dispersion in the game, 1.6 sigma on Alsace, 1.8 on Richelieu and Bourgogne. Jean Bart with 2.0 sigma and Gascogne with 1.9 are the sole French 38 cm guns that can claim to be anything close to precise. Repu is not small caliber, Normandie and Lyon are actually among the most inaccurate BBs in the game.

    Tnx WG for baltimore change!

And how many would have been killed with non-AA spec? You'd do like 9% less dps and 16% less damage in a flak burst. Flak burst already two shots planes and with 20% more than base... still two shots most planes. Only oneshots lower tier planes, which in ranked don't appear. Massive AA actually decreases your AA by taking away the dps bonus on one side. Thing is, without AA build you wouldn't suddenly average 0 planes, but maybe 17 or so. Spending all the points to kill 2 more planes is worth it? Honestly, if I can trade 2 planes for you making your ship worse against everything else on my team, I goddamn take it.

    Tnx WG for baltimore change!

Feel free to respec to something useful. AA spec is a waste of points. A non AA spec ship is basically able to do 90% of the AA work an AA spec ship does, for none of the investment but way better tankiness to deal with the inevitable damage.

    Tnx WG for baltimore change!

It is one of the best. Also gets good concealment with strong radar. AA is "good" for all it is worth these days. "VERY effective" is a stretch, unless you mean by comparison to other cruisers and DDs. As a CV player, I have not too much respect of any T8 cruiser, if I find no DD on the first rocket pass, Baltimore is as valid a target as any for a rocket attack. It might take out a couple planes, but I miss those less than Balti misses the 7-10k hp. I also torped the thing already with Ark Royal. Not to smacktalk Balti here, but AA deserves no praise in general.

    Ludendorff for?

Bismarck guns are serviceable for high tier, especially if you consider that now they are more accurate than any other gun of similar caliber short of the British that pen less. And you get 12 guns. If you compare to Alsace: same reload same overmatch (or lack thereof) Pommern is more accurate, with better base dispersion and 1.8 sigma vs 1.6. Alsace has better pen. At 15 km, Alsace sits at 520 mm, Pommern at 486 mm. While less pen, Pommern still will only fare noticeably worse at long range and have no issues utterly wasting cruisers. Alsace deals more damage with HE and has better fire chance (though at 34% per shell vs 36%, that's pretty minimal). Pommern's HE pen is better at 95 mm. Pommern has worse turret angles. Which is not exactly unfair, given it straight up has better armour, hp, hydro, better secondaries and torps, while the Alsace gets speed boost and fighter plane. Pommern as is certainly doesn't look weak. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the ship has potential.

WG, why did you nerf Ägir's secondary guns?

Just use a standard Hindenburg captain.

    Ludendorff for?

Issue here is, ships you named either actually existed or where not named due the place being part of the country First category is pretty much all the ships you listed, they existed, their naming is outside WGs hands. They could choose other members of class, but usually not much better and kinda weird. Second category is Poltava, which was named after the battle of Poltava (same for Gangut, Sinop and Borodino). It's like the USN naming a ship Iwo Jima, although the place was Japanese, never claimed by the US and still is Japanese. But it was a memorable battle for the US. Ships like Pommern meanwhile, it is entirely up to WG to pick a name. Same with Riga. Just, place names, especially when the area was part of the country at the time, are less contentous than right-wing politicians.

    Ludendorff for?

Pommern is a historical region that not just was part of Germany during the time most of the game is supposedly set, but also half of it is still in Germany (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern). It's also linked to German history in more ways than Ludendorff, which is more questionable. 1940-1991 is just a couple years? The Baltic states were made into SSRs during WWII and remained such until the breakup. Just for comparison, these states existed as independent states from 1918 to 1940 (22 years) and 1991 to now (29 years), so a combined 51 years, which is just as long as they were SSRs. With all due respect to these countries, but they weren't part of the Soviet Union for just a couple years.

    Ludendorff for?

Got an issue with Pommern? How "powerful" a name is is up to whoever perceives it. Take Yoshino and you likely get people ranging from having no association whatsoever, to people giggling because they think of Yoshi from Super Mario, people who associate it with anime characters like Yoshino from Date a Live to people who consider it a name on par with Yamato, due to the cultural significance of Yoshino and its cherry trees as a symbol of Japanese culture and spirit (or Yamato damashii). A name deserving of what is supposedly the epitome of IJN cruiser design.

Match Making = Quit or Find another Game !!!

wtf is 50/50 MM even supposed to mean. Matchmaking groups you with random players that could be anything. Statistically, over large numbers of battles (not just 6), this means that the amount of battles you win will depend most of all on one thing that is constant in all of them, which is you as a player. And if you play bad, you win less than half of them, if you are good, you win more than half of them. Nothing makes it automatically 50%. And 6 battles is statistically irrelevant. If I was absolutely average at 50% win rate, the chances for 6 losses in a row are very much within the realm of the likely, not some lottery winning probability. The only ships where this is a credible claim coming from you is T10 CVs, one of which is Audacious. Doing 85k in a T10 CV is nothing glorious though and certainly nowhere near a guaranteed win. Heck, if someone did 85k in any other T10 it'd be far from a guarantee for good win rate. And Audacious is a low-impact damage farmer that will lose most often against other T10 CVs that are played by competent people. Especially if one cannot translate this damage into kills.

WG, why did you nerf Ägir's secondary guns?

Flamu just highlighted what a meme it was. Not exactly "OP". If you look at what he did, it's basically sitting behind an island, melting ships with secondaries that have 11.6 km range and good dispersion. A normal T9 cruiser could basically do the same, but with main guns and better range. You could put a friggin T8 Mainz there and it'd be basically better in every way. It'd not be as tanky, but who cares if it sits behind an island? Making it dependant on an automated armament at the cost of making the main armament absolute trash made it a horrid design, regardless of how unique it would have been. Likely the best thing WG did for the game this year was to scrap this concept and not try cash in on it. That alone was already half the reason I got the ship now that it got reworked.

WG, why did you nerf Ägir's secondary guns?

What happened? Found out its no German BB and still has a citadel? That it's not a BB that can bow in? I mean with an actually noticeable turtleback, 90 mm upper belt and a good amount of armour protecting the citadel in general, also 30 mm deck (remember when Azuma got denied 30 mm, because it's a T10 characteristic?), the Ägir certainly cannot complain about survivability woes. Obviously it's still a cruiser and shouldn't try tank shells all game, but guess what, without being secondary focused you can play from beyond 11.6 km without being absolute hot garbage.

    Trust in RNGesus?

Rockets, if really properly aimed are very unlikely to disperse all around a DD. Now, this assumes proper aiming, meaning you properly lead the ship (accounting also for its maneuvres), let the reticle aim fully and you approach it to have as much ship as possible in the targetted area. The only rockets that might miss are FDR, with which I'm not fully familiar with, but every other CV has enough rockets to hit the area they have, be it IJN with small area or the USN that just fills a larger area with more rockets or Tiny Tims that are decently accurate accounting for the few rockets you have (thus need more aim). AP bombs overpenning depends on what bombs you use, what target you are bombing and how. Against DDs, you obviously overpen. Against other targets, it is mostly down to where you hit. Overpens aren't too uncommon, given no CV has pinpoint accuracy on bombs, but most CVs have enough bombs that the one overpen you might get every so often isn't that much of an issue compared to the ciit hits you get too. Something like Enterprise for example might regularly overpen or outright miss ships due to its inaccuracy, but with 6 bombs, somethings gonna hit hard usually. GZ with 2 bombs that are high pen, weird falling angle and silly round targetting area that makes it hard to keep the reticle entirely on the ship before you enter falling angles that make it crap is likely the most frustrating experience in that regard. Doesn't help you got second best pen in the game.

    Ludendorff for?

If they'd make a T10 version, I'd honestly prefer if they just take a base FdG with 4x2 406s or the 420s on the 406s reload, give it 2.0 sigma and torps and call it a day. A less accurate Kurfürst is like the least of things we need, even if it gets torps. Triple 38 cm would likely have been more feasable than actually building the Kurfürst and operating it. While I do keep the GK around for stupid container events, the ship just screams "impractical" and I don't like playing it. Even other paper designs like the British or French seem less silly. Conqueror at least design-wise seems well-balanced.

    Impero

Same dispersion, afaik, but Roma's problem, imo wasn't just dispersion. If it was dispersion, Richelieu that shares dispersion would be bad too, having same accuracy parameters and barely less shell velocity (and penetration). The difference between Roma and Richelieu is that Roma's range ends at like 18 km, so the window where you stop overpenning anything that isn't angled and the end of your range is smaller than on Richelieu that has 24 km. Roma has the identity crisis of a ship that has the pen of a long range specialist, but not the range of one, unlike ships that actually have ranges and pen AP characteristics befitting the range, like Richelieu (long range, high pen, so it can still wreck things at range) or Monarch (low range, mediocre pen, short fuze, so at almost no point in its underwhelming rangewill Monarch start overpenning anything but the lightest of platings). Obviously for Impero that is no issue, having access to SAP that can absolutely wreck at any range, but unlike with cruisers where the most noteworthy thing will be that it has no pen dropoff at range, SAP for Impero/Littorio will be extremely valuable to deal with: Angled ships to continue crapping on them if they are not perfectly bow-in. Even then, derp it into superstructure. BBs where you don't expect to get cits at closer ranges, like Bismarck. Reason I'm sceptical about SAP vs AP at longer ranges is that the further out you go, the less you can aim for specific parts and while AP might do a bit less damage per pen, these AP shells should still pen belt, while the SAP does not. Extreme ranges you won't reach anyway, as you get a bit over 20 km with spotter plane at best. Then you can go back to SAP. Cruisers at closer ranges. Apart from the few ships you can outright citadel with SAP (Smolensk/Ochakov, Molotov, I think Shchors, Aoba, likely some others), 9 381 mm SAP pens can outright devstrike full hp T8 cruisers with their 36k SAP alpha. Given most of the time you don't run into full hp cruisers, less shells already do the trick. Against DDs, I heard the shells do 10%, but even then, better than AP, worse than HE (1.2k for a SAP overpen vs 1.7k for a Roma HE pen. Neither is incredibly good).

Also improved turning, because you know, gotta get all those Italian cruiser perks. In exchange, 3s worse reload. Premium and it'll be sold as AL Littorio likely.

Bet you paid people or got some bot accounts to syncdrop with you and compliment you.

The report and karma system is broken

I mean, what offends you so much that you want it gone? Without karma system you'd have the same game, a few more reports via support for stuff like afking and less means of handing out feedback without chatting someone up. It doesn't "hurt" anyone, it usually very well correlates with skill and personality (in that you have to pretty poor or pretty rude to never have at least some Karma after a few thousand battles) and there's not much point to it. Next, are we going to discuss whether we need trees on islands, because they add little to the game?
  20. HaachamaShipping

The report and karma system is broken

Which is why the best way to raise Karma is by almost never getting reported. We have only so many reports, yet so many potatos. Obviously most people don't report everyone, but the most eggregious cases, while the instances of complimentable behaviour are so few, most can throw them at any instance they witness. There's a reason why my Karma is increasing and some folks sit with hundreds or thousands of positive Karma...

The report and karma system is broken

Nah, I never get complimented ever... Compliments don't happen. Fake news!
  22. HaachamaShipping

The report and karma system is broken

Just play in a way that is unlikely to get you reported and the times you carry your team you might get complimented. So, sure, the less skilled get reported all the time, but by just playing the game well, you should see karma increase. I certainly have no karma issues, never had, even when playing toxic crap like CVs.
  23. Yamato is like the only BB I actually am concerned about in Thunderer. Nothing like getting screwed from across the map because 32 mm plating, 32 m cit deck and a citadel that is half the ship. And given that niche, it's really hard to ever dismiss Yamato as UP. It still has some of the best guns, with a unique niche and despite punisheable broadside and poor turret traverse, the ship is actually pretty well-armoured, has great torp protection and a solid hp pool, while not being insanely large, making its turning also pretty acceptable. Also, given Yamato has always been a long range specialist centered around main guns, it's hard to ever get thrown completely out of meta. Something like GK, Montana or Repu are quite a bit more likely to just get absolutely wasted by newer BBs and current meta in general (though to different degrees).

Complaining about half-assed historical realism when suggesting to put Vanguard on a level with Yamato and Montana. At such a point you'd likely see already complaints about teeaboo bias.
