Making Radio Location a module instead of a captain skill?

I haven't ever used RPF, but with some experience, you can guess the direction from where the enemy comes.

Make german BB's great again (Prinz E. Friedrich)

Dunkerque is by no means a competitive ship. It has only three advantages over its peers, which are speed, maneuverability and penetration (which is questionable, as the ship tends to overpen a lot). Dunkerque has the worst armour scheme at T6, getting overmatched by 38 cm guns everywhere, HE penned everywhere and the rather flat hangar at the back means it won't bounce shells there, it has guns that are small caliber, no reload advantage and 1.7 sigma coupled with horrendous vertical dispersion due to high shell velocity, the AA is bad, the concealment is nothing to brag about. Dunkerque does ok in randoms basically the way Eitel Friedrich will do ok in randoms, because dumb enemies allow you to. Compared to Dunk, PEF might not have the pen, but at least it has the accuracy. Neither ship is anything great. Also, Dunkerque is not an odd duck really. The only reason Richelieu is not Dunk levels of garbage is because 2 tiers higher it gets 32 mm armour, it gets a proper AA suit and the main battery gets 1.8 sigma, not 1.7. Minimal plating, high velocity, high penetration guns, with high speed and quad gun turrets is however very much in line with French BBs. I'm not going to say PEF is a good or competitive ship, but I'd not put too much stock into all other German CCs being like this. Dunkerque was underwhelming and the French BB line turned out ok (balance-wise. Historical accuracy kind of went out the window). Warspite was good, but British BB do play different. And if we judged Italian BBs by Roma and Giulio Cesare, there's no telling what we'll get.

Dunkerque is a joke. French BB in general are competitive though.

Make german BB's great again (Prinz E. Friedrich)

To be honest, Prinz Eitel Friedrich the person did barely more to distinguish himself positively than the ship in question. It's really just about the Mackensen-class.

    West Virginia in the shop

I know they nuked the AA and gave it stock hull hp, also lowering sigma by 0.1. But are there any other changes to the ship from Colorado?

West Virginia '41 Available in Premium Shop

Having almost arrived at the end of the Colorado grind, I am actually not too much against a premium Colorado one tier lower. I just would like an LWM review of the ship.

Make german BB's great again (Prinz E. Friedrich)

It likely is final this way, especially as it'll be handed out as a free ship, so who cares if it seems underwhelming.

No, I'm travelling a lot and have little need for stationary systems. Also currently makes me wonder if I should buy figures, when I will likely not see them for most of the year. Thanks tho.

    USS New York, really?

Tbh, the only times I remembered getting rushed by a DD before at high tier was when a Shima outran my main turrets in Yamato (and got utterly wrecked by the secondaries though I ate the torps and died too) and when a Shima ran head on into my Kurfürst, torped me to death, then got obliterated by my team (back then I just hated how that player likely thought he was having a great game getting 105k damage for once, though he basically traded his ship). Nothing the change would affect. Meanwhile only rushes I had post-change was in Colorado by some Mahan, which hit me once, but I managed to kill it by one salvo AP, then one HE. And if I manage in Colorado, I'm confident in other ships. Then again, USN might be the only nation where I might be genuinely worried, because on Germans I run secondary builds, on RN and IJN the HE alpha is enough and French I don't yet play.

I'll be honest, I run Benson only for this, so it works. My second fleet basically uses Hammann Variant, Sims, Benson. Not for efficiency. Just because I can (Backline is PoW, Yorktown and Enterprise, to actually have two CVs that may benefit from the skills of frontline and one BB that benefits from full US lineup). Hobby and Kalk are too young though. I thought Fuso/Yamashiro were the worst. Together maybe with Nevada/Oklahoma.

I admit, the only console I ever owned was a PS2. Got it as a christmas present. As for keeping work an gaming seperate... I only bought this laptop this year and have no older alternative and I'm not paying money to carry another one with me when this one's perfectly fine. Not that I do much gaming. It's basically just Girls Frontline, Azur Lane, Honkai Impact 3rd some WoWS and maybe once every month AoE III. In a way, I feel like I bought a way too good laptop for what I actually end up doing on it. But hey, I can run WoWS on Ultra...

The latest PS4 can't also be used for work, nor can I take it with me as easily as my laptop.

    Italian Cruiser line

Because Attlio Regolo is the first of the class. There was no Capitani Romani. Capitani Romani only refers to the whole class being named after roman military leaders. Kind of like the RN DDs all are named after first in class, not the letter or theme that makes up their naming scheme, even if one usually calls it the "A-class", "I-class", "J-class", "L-class" and "Battle-class".

Last 3 points on Musashi/Yamato captain

BoS is your best take. There are no 1 pt + 2 pt combos worth as much on Yamato.

    Italian Cruiser line

Trento is more likely a T7 and Zara a T8. These two ships are not competitive at T9/10 and are far more suited for those tiers. Not to mention, these are the tiers were typically cruiser lines transition to heavy cruisers (Germans, French). Also because much of the rest on the list is not competitive on the stated tiers.

    USS New York, really?

A few days old, so got a few more games in Colorado (though no great change in stats): Sample sizes may be small, but I really can't be bothered to play New York or New Mexico beyond the necessary exp to get the next ship. As said before, New Mexico was a painful experience, as you can blap some cruisers, but when you deal with a BB that angles against you, there's so little you can do. Colorado might have fewer large guns, but they just have the punch to deal with ships. I think one key issue to me is that New Mexico lacks overmatch, has 21 knots and gets thrown into matches were it is mid or bottom tier most of the time. In such an environment, I don't camp in the back, but I'm hesitant to push too far, because getting out can be hard and if you get stuck in a match against a ship that can overmatch you, you might just get pummeled to death. With Colorado, it's easier to pick such fights, because it's a more even matchup as you are typically top tier too.

Next Ranked Sprint at Tier 6, it seems.

Time to bring out my HSF Graf Spee.

    USS New York, really?

NM's concealment basically is its only saving grace. And unlike a Giulio or such, you don't have the speed to leverage it much. The guns are many, but reload slow and also are inaccurate. If they seem accurate, then because with 12 guns you always hit at least 1-2. Colorado meanwhile I also must disagree. The guns can do pretty solid damage and are accurate comparable to Nagato. It's relatively often top tier, though indeed, it is among the worse T7s to get thrown into a T9 match. It can manage though. Imo, Colorado is far more powerful tier for tier than its two predecessors. Colorado at least can punch holes into angled peers, the other two can only derp around.

    USS New York, really?

Yeah, New York is easier to play than Kongo. For Kongo, you actually have to know about how to make the most out of speed, range, angling, hp pool. With New York, many of the options Kongo has don't even exist. You don't even need to regulate speed much. 95% of the time full speed is the best setting anyway. That doesn't make New York anywhere as good though. Just means it requires less brain. New York cannot bounce shots from Nagato more than any other T5 BB. It bounces them on the very belt if angled. Every other T5 BB manages the same. Few other T5 BBs have that crap of a belt though (tech tier wise anyway) and no other T5 Bb except Texas and Bretagne have 19 mm armour at the barbette and all over its deck, making it easy as hell even for T5 BBs to murder it. And yeah, RNG can screw with things. But if I have to trust in blind luck to keep me alive, not skill and raw performance parameters of the ship, that's just crap.

    USS New York, really?

No, but then I would want the ship to at least not be more crap than every other T5 BB. I also didn't need lessons for Iron Duke or OR.

The lulzy part is. Futa (formerly a Hosho, thus the ungerman name) anchors right next to a König that is helmed by a bot named Albert.

    USS New York, really?

I own GK and Yamato. GK is only okish in that it reloads fast for firing 12 large caliber shells. Yamato meanwhile reliably demolishes things. Even 26 km out, if things move predictably, Yamato can be a threat (though sniping shouldn't be how you approach the ship). I thus also like my Yamato way more than GK. And in terms of USN mid-tiers, it isn't impossible to do well in the ships. They are mid-tier BBs. They still screw over mid-tier cruisers. And anyone dumb enough to hand you the win. Heck, I had an NC once that rushed me, brawled me and lost against my Colorado, because it just let my 21 knot ship have its broadside and quad citadel it back to port. Doesn't mean that against a skilled player this was anywhere near good odds. But with these ships, most other nations can get more done if the player is equally skilled.

Good DD players - Asashio - yes or no?

    Thirded.

Massachusetts?- YES!!!..get it! Fun for all, for sure

While Massachusetts is a strong ship, wouldn't say it's OP and nothing can beat it. Average Massa I'd be confident taking on in Amagi or Kii at over 12 km range, with Bismarck or Tirpitz in a brawl. As for your Massa... if I had a Monarch, I'd wager I could do it in that ship.
