Not sure if this kind of topic has been raised before - to clarify my question let's assume each team has one player left, you being a lower tier and the opponent a higher tier, same class warships (e.g. Furutaka vs Cleveland), both are the same HP left (lets say, 10000). What tactics would give me the highest chance to beat over him? BTW, I would like to focus more on BB and Cruisers line since DD duels seems like a torpedo spam versus. and for CV, I don't play them so I have no idea how would they duel with each other. Any tips might help so feel free to share!

    Wickes turret unable to reload

    I've just encountered a problem when 3 of my turrets were not penetrated but they were unable to reload This did not solved upon switching shells. When I switched to torps the screen showed it was ready to fire, but when i switch back to either AP or HE the problem remained (sorry I forgot to screen cap the torps) Not sure what happened but the dev may want to take a look?

    That Q5 really depends what range of torpedos do you have... It would be very handful to get 10km loaded if you are the last hope imo. But if you are loaded with 7km I suggest a more defensive of capping and escaping - a draw is better than a defeat
  4. I've been playing BBs (both USN and IJN) a lot until recently I unlocked Furutaka. By my experience on BBs I actually quite adapted and like this T5 CA, despite of its lower rof and turret turning speed from Kuma. Shooting AP and making citadel shots are really, really rewarding. But the problem comes when I treat the Furutaka is a balance between cruisers and BBs, and I feel like BBs inferior than the CA. So I am now quite confused, if I get to play heavy cruisers, why still bother play BBs?

    May I know more about it - i mean, if we point <20 degree to the enemy then i can only shoot 2 turrets? So i go full boardside when close enough to the enemy or what?

    Tips for farming BB XP?

    Hi BB guys - I have had some problems about xp farming in BB. As you know BBs have low accuracy so a match usually ends with not much hits. In addition, I often found myself not the one who destroyed the enemies - yep I got some citadel hits and pumped their HP away, but they were usually destroyed by other CA/CLs while my big guns were reloading... These results in a generally lower xp gained per battle (as compared with using cruisers / DDs) So that is the question - may I have some tips on farming xp on the BB line? (both USN and IJN helps, thanks!)

    Yea I know my post sounds like these BB-hating posts but, i did not mean to spread any messages of "BB is bad" "BB is scrap" blablabla... My intention was really to like, re-learn the pros and cons of CAs and BBs As mentioned yeah BBs have the power to one-shot cruisers with AP salvos (personally tried) but what compensates for it is the pretty lower accuracy Some argues BBs with high accuracy is OP so no need to buff them... honestly speaking BBs are too rng dependent to play and it looks like CAs are more balanced And you know sometimes its frustrating too depend on luck too much (or simply rngesus is not on your side) Regarding the survivability, I doubt if taking damage as brawlers or evading as cats are more effective in higher-tier games. I assume at higher tiers more players are skillful enough to predict the route of ships so evading is less effective, on the other hand BBs being brawlers takes excessive damage they can afford and would be sunk quickly. So ... another dilemma
