So i am right then. They may have similar functions to XVM but they are not called that. Matchmaking Monitor https://monitor.pepespub.de/ -
"Back to port" button - why does it exist?

Glue sniffers will leave regardless. Alt+F4 exists, and restarting the game takes only 10s, so it makes no difference at all. If they cant quit, they suicide and and cause toxic chat, which is worse than them simply leaving. At least this way WG can punish them properly and put them into coop The only good suggestion in this thread was having AI taking over the ship after a set amount of time (and if player rejoins after crash, he get to take back over the wheel) Keep the button. -
I enjoyed the Hipper, way back. Then i discovered most of my Hipper stats are top 5% while my very similar Chapayev stats are only top 25%. That should really tell you all you need to know about the ship's potential. I'll never touch it (or german cruisers) again now that I have Hindenburg. Hipper: Chapayev:

Honestly starting to agree with the Ops sentiment if what he really means is the powercreep arms race of glass-cannon vs armor thickness (Kremlin says hi). The result of increased lethality is stale campy gameplay, which I for one have gotten tired of.

Are you having fun, WG? Are you laughing about us now?

I've farmed around 200.000 filth to get all 3 camos and some coal. Most games in 3 man BB divisions farming Rasputin got us nearly 3000 filth per game. That took some 66 games. Trust me there were a fair amount of games where we had to sink somebody else because there were not enough filth (as I said: the team who didn't kill Rasputin often raised the jolly roger to sink those who did) Farming only 2000 filth would demand 33 more games or another 50%. It takes the same amount of time to kill Rasputin together or alone. It's not nice to other players, but being the biggest alligators in town saves a really large amount of time....thank WG for setting the game up that way. -

One Division of 3 BBs can hold 3000 filth. Every team starting location: 1 DD = 50 filth 2 Cruiser = 2x 100 filth 2 BB = 2x 200 filth 1 pile of 200 filth Total: 850 filth (if you pick it up instantly) There are another 3-4 Fossils in the center - shared 300-400 filth ~ 100 for each team. Rasputin holds 2000 filth and is escorted by 4 DDs worth 50 each = 2200 filth total. On way back you can sometimes kill 1-4 more DDs (if < 5 minutes, but that is risky) for another <200 filth. Total filth: 3050 if nothing is lost to time (and not counting fossils or extra DDs on way out) I'll let you do the math (hint: there is not even close to 6000 filth on the map / easy 2000 for each team) -
For farming Rasputin, 3x BB (croco or scorpi), north spawn and left bottom spawn are best. For solo play, DD (mutantovsk) has been suggested (engine boost=invulnerability to anyting but ram). Fill up and exit asap to not deal with pvp and center campers. Bot Mutantovsk wave spawn at 5.00 and they look like they close to ram with shield on, but actually they just want to torp you and the AI is set to brake too late. If closing head on, a ram can sometimes be avoided by slowing down, allowing the DD time to adjust (they sail way to close to have torps activate anyways). Since them ramming with shield on usually will kill anything but a BB with invulnerability on, that can be a game changer.

This mode is way more fun than random battles, but WG should make one change: Make it mandatory for BB drivers to play 100 battles, before they can buy a tier X BB. The amount of fun brawling is of epic proportions. Sadly I now have all my 3 camos. Killing Rasputin is easy. 3 man divs exist to carry full 3000 filth home every game. 3x3 divisions is bad since no matter what, everybody loses. Rasputin only holds enough filth to fill up one division and it creates a lot of backstabbing potential. In those 3x3 cases, almost always there would be an exchange of intentions in chat and either a fight after Rasputin went down - or two teams would back down from the threat of a fight and do PvP / fast exit in the center. -
No more North....ever. Heaven!
-
I agree, and having 3 dds torping you all the way is quite annoying! Wishing you luck good Sir!
-
Well, most camper drivers are of...questionable quality, I agree. But we (3 man div) just had the first 3v6 organized battle against two enemy 3 man divisions. Our team in 3 crocos got torped all the way from rasputin by 2 dds (angler and steel i think) and croco blocked the entrace to center. Rest waited inside (1 dd 2 bb). One of our teammates had gotten only invulnerabilities and were 40k ish low. Would've made it with heals, but he eventually went down shortly before the portal due to lack of sustain. Our other 2 crocos werent even close to dying (both >100k at all times). One of their Anglers went <1k hp (you can shoot the circling DDs when they pass in front of the guns for massive blaps). So yeah you cant sink crocos with no heal, but if he specced LS and cooldown reduction...good luck. This is the closest i came to getting "sunk" once by Mutantovsks:
-
Sometimes when farming rasputin, you HAVE to go counterclockwise (south spawn on 9-10 line) and bully or kill the northern team. It's a little rough in the PvE whales and makes me sad every time to sink them. As for Croco, you can't kill it before it makes it out, and as DD you face the problem of terrain and detection. If you want to follow the BB to inside the center ring, either you get spotted (and shot), or you have to disengage going another path, or you send useless torp waves from behind / in front where 9/10 will miss. Stealth torping face the usual problem of torpedoes: relies on enemy to sail predictably.
-
Sailing a Fossil....Brave man. I've accidentially sunk (oneshot) at least one player because I just read the ship name and assumed it was a bot
-
For me, DDs are shoot-on-sight targets in this mode, unless known clan quantities or talking in chat. They ALWAYS think they can get away with torping. I've yet to meet a DD div that could stop a Crocosaur pushing for the exit. And yes I've met some 3 man DD campers and also 2 man angler Divs when i played solo in my Crocosaur. Some torped from stealth and lived to tell the tale. The ones who didn't, didn't. And none of them came close to sinking me.

All the permaflages up for earning are the same MadMax theme junk. I got my tier X permaflage today. If you want the cool looking camos like Crocosaur though....8000 doubloons is the price. I got 6k from the anniversary SCs and had been eyeing a Cossack. But i cant afford both atm. Hmmm hmm

That takes a LONG time to do, even if said BBaby burns DCP to a single fire. All BB has to do is stop firing / sail into cover and Smol cant farm him. Good smolensk are a pain in the [edited]to deal with for any ship, KotS showed smolensks were usually the last ships standing, so they shouldn't be underestimated.

error 404 no death found. Smolensk can be annoying with 19 km range. At that range, he can't kill you. Mino can't kill a BB with sAP so you need to F*** up massively and eat his torps. Also both can be citadeled in smoke. Recommend wasd.exe and fixing error between computer and chair (but if i had to pick my poison, Smolensk is worse).

I already discovered the tier 8 camo is more MadMax junk....are the tier IX and X more of the same (instead of something cool, like the Crocosaur camo) Can somone post a picture of the tier X camo please?

Contrary to anything else, steel and coal are time-gated ressources that cannot be freeling grinded by investing time =)
-
Been doing pretty much the same with my division mates. And we give fair warning to anyone in chat to steer clear of us. Agreed. The endless grinding events, curencies and tokens makes me feel like a hamster. Somewhere along the way since vanilla WoWs, fun has been flushed out the toilet. I've quit playing random battles and only play ranked, CB and event modes these days. Tbh i think of Twilight as the new random battles mode. The close range brawling is alot closer to the vanilla days of WoWs.

Best (PvP) game mode WG has come up with since Arms Race. Love it. Brawling and farming to begin with, then diplomacy, bluff or outright piracy at the end. Sometimes a truce, sometimes Rasputin farming, sometimes raising the JR or being set upon by pirates and having to brawl your way out. I prefer it to random battles. You solo rasputin with Croco without the Khabarovsks farming you right back? Holy crap, respect mister.

In that case why not Blap whatever was the original target and come back with RFs? -
What WG spreadsheets, Smolensk, CVs and Pavlovs dogs have in common
GulvkluderGuld replied to anonym_DKZABZXaXZld's topic in General Discussion
Point about the damage. I guess the question is, what is worse, doing 10k dmg before running out of planes - or doing nothing while flying around spotting stuff.... And true you cant deplane tier 7+ CVs in one go, but untill tier X it doesnt take many "full wipes" (like attacking an entire fleet of AA). See above. Often RTS CVS below tier 7 managed to lose all planes before 10 minutes. I'm sure they did at least a little damage as E2azer was kind enough to point out. At least the new ones can play and spot for more than 10 minutes. I dont know which is worse -

You can AP bomb DDS too, but why bother when IJN CVs have the best RF in the game?
