Whatever, you're entitled to your opinion, I won't put an angry face on it which some seem to do with regularity and much glee... But to answer your question, I have purchased many premium ships... yes, I thank WoWs for the "free" ships and stuff... but lets get real, they don't do it to be nice... they do it to make players stay... far too many leave because they get fed up... I, and others, have decided to stay but not spend any more money, and that is our right. Your last line says it all, you DON'T work for WG so that opinion isn't worth much. WG would probably not hire you with thinking like that, player retention is a big part of their strategy... and I've been playing, and paying, days after it came out of beta on the 21st, July, 2015.

Yes, but for it to come back, I'd need some basic assurances first.... every time I see that dock now... I think of the .... shame..... that WoWs must live with. So if they put a decent ship in the dock for us to grind... it will suffer the baggage of the infamous Pay-To Rico event.... sad, but true.

I cannot help but think he was caught acting out in public what they do behind closed doors... mock the players who accused them of being crooks. Only, he went too far and made his "fun" public... it is right that he should be let go... however, what about the others actually involved in the PR debacle? He cannot be the only one, and as he was "pushed"... then he wasn't that senior... was he made the scapegoat for the mess? NO.... but he was served up to the players as a peace offering... and somehow... that annoys me... Every single company or agency has a culture... some bad, some good. I believe that the culture at WG is a bad one, especially the way the PR event was dreamt up and executed ...and then the fallout from said fiasco. I mean... who EVER thought players would LOVE that grind, especially over the Christmas break...and then who tried to cover it up and who decided to say sorry and then completely ignore the community wanting answers all in the hope that it will die down.... sooner ot later. THAT is the person(s) who should be made to resign. I also think that the dude was trying to make people feel sorry for him, why else mention his upcoming marriage... He is being offered as the sacrifice, and for that, I feel sorry for him because THAT is so unfair. (I mean.... who decided to break the law?????) EDIT: I should also point out that I no longer trust WoWs to be a good corporate guardian of the pixel warships I have purchased since the 21/7/15 ... days after the game came out of beta, so I am reluctant to put any more money at risk till we get some basic assurances about the integrity they seem to have lost recently... or at least, its was slowly vanishing but this time, they killed in in one alpha strike... their silence makes it much much worse.

First instance, I see if I can find the fix... 2nd ... ask my clan.... 3rd, ask on the forums (never had to ....) 4th..... pray.... 5th .... I'd actually have to be dying in order for me to ask support... so I won't.... not any more. I'll follow you to hell and back, and this thread with it.

For once, sir, I agree with you. (I think... not sure if I have ever agreed with you or not....) But you lft out once important factor... or three... they are; The human "nut behind the wheel" ... gameplay is not lucky or unlucky, humans are. The commander, a 10 point commander isn't going to be better than an 19 point commander. The perks the commander has, no matter what level. But... yeah, the PR is all hype and no action.

Yes, and then they can add the HMNZS Achilles... hero the Graf Spee scuttling... (there were a few Brit ships there too but so what, they are not famous like our ship... ) There are valid reasons for adding her as a Leander premium...

I would call a big fat oil tanker a he... but then... The story is this, respect all women... or any ship that can leave you in a life boat ... if you can understand that.... even a lowly DD can sink the mightiest warship... hence, respect all women, even ships... the sailors in her are like her babies, she keeps them dry, warm and safe... The best ladies refuse to sink fast... allowing all her charges to safely abandon "mother"... I better stop before I start crying.... but its true... we did respect the ships we sailed on because they kept us safe... respected like a lady! BUT, I acknowledge there are those that just see a ship (or boat) and see a man... because the guns are like the sexual organs of a man... they can really screw up your day.

I downloaded Fallout 4 so .... and that was in New Zealand where the speeds are not the best, even on good days. I suppose I should insult WoWs with a new line in my sig... "Subs... sinking the game faster than CV's did..." But seriously... I eager to find out how good they really are... sort of... I still have nightmares about the CV rework and WoWs not listening... something they are very adept at doing. Yeah, we shall see... if they work, then I shall give WoWs a very rare compliment.

I also said that its more likely that WoWs got lazy and just copy and pasted the data and made a few changes so its not like driving the Alaska... which is more likely. My comment was more factual real world stuff... big guns would and do act differently on other hulls. As I said in another thread yesterday, the HMNZS Achilles should be including in the game because during the battle of the River Plate with the Graf Spee, her rate of fire was higher than the other ships involved... because Kiwis being Kiwis... the barrels got so hot that they had to hit them with a hammer to release the recoil springs... but that is more the human element... her rate of fire was higher than other Leander class ships. As I also said... its probably just WoWs being lazy and that is OK....

Well, I also have Terminal Lung Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and diabetes... previously, I've had a heart attack... I started falling apart in 2001 with the diagnosis of MS, and each event is happening faster and faster... that is NOT the full ist by the way. I also moved from New Zealand to Holland 9 months ago with my wife... we were both born here, BUT, she went to NZ in 2015 to have a holiday but we fell in love and got married, so she can speak Dutch I cannot... I spent 57 years in NZ after my family moved there in 1961 ... what is the point of this post... All my family (son and daughter from a previous marriage) and my brothers and sister are still in New Zealand, its where my parents are buried, its where all my friends are.... I was told that the Dutch can speak English... its true, but they don't LIKE to speak it... so, I have a few new friends here but only 2 close friends.... This past Christmas.... I missed my family and friends that, yes, I could have played WoWs to forget.... but I spent the time with my wife... without her, for starters, I couldn't survive here... It would have been good to do some FAIR grinding that allowed me both to play AND spend time with my wife and friends... its just lucky that I sussed out the Pay-To Rico wasn't worth it BUT I did grind the Gorizia.

My point was, and I'll simplify it for you, if you put an Iowa gun onto a Salem (as an extreme argument ONLY to make the point) ...the ballistics will be changed, the barrel would be closer to the water, the Salem isn't as stable as a BB like the Iowa... so, yes, its the same gun... but it will behave differently. Worse reload time may be because the loading path from the shell stores is different, dispersion, the PR is more unstable... fire chance.... meh.... But if you want the ultra simple answer.... WoWs copy and pasted the data to save time, then made it slightly different for obvious reasons... but the argument from most of us still stands... don't buy the Pay-To Rico, just buy the Alaska.

I am ex Navy, but I try to keep it simple for the masses here who still annoy the heck of me by calling a ship a boat. :)

This is one ship I do not own but wish to.... Within the past few months, I played a rare game of Random, a G.K. king hit me in the first few minutes... conclusion... IN THE RIGHT HANDS.... she is a good ship... Then again, I was still getting used to my new ship so that might have played a part as well.

Impossible for the majority of the player base... I'm 60, gone are the days I could stay up for 48 hours at a time, so either you have a FAIR event for everyone... or not at all. I posted a video of THREE people, 2 who had and one who was about to win.... all three were young.... and probably stupid as well... I mean, older people would want to spend time with friends and family.... right?

Not the point, the guns are the same, and they are. Put a gun from one ship onto another and of course it will behave differently, the roll of ship for example... will affect dispersion. That was the claim, the guns were the same, you said they were not, they are... no one said they behaved the same...

The revolt has started.... better late than never. Lets hope WoWs gets the message before its too late.

I'd agree to a point... I never wanted the PR, just being upfront about that, but the community will suffer when all those that paid for the PR teaches wows they can do it again and again... and again, we will have another impossible grind with an even more costly ship... 300 US dollars? I do not condone the abuse, but I can fully understand it... I don't blame the PER owner or the "insulters"... but WoWs and WG for creating this situation. They can prevent it happening again by saying it won't... but as always, they give a lame apology them remain silent till it all blows over... manby of us are sick of that... It shows me that they do not respect their customers.... but rather than attack the PR owners... I'd like Sub_Octavian to go "live" and face the music for a few hours straight so we can get all this sorted out.... But.... no.... so the players are only taking it out on the PR players because WG remains silent.....

so.... we get .... flags and stuff.... and you get the potential to rip off my friends at a possible $250 a pop.... I cannot in all good conscience refer ANYONE to this game on that basis... its bad enough having enemies but I don't want them trying to kill me.... and I need all the friends I can get just in case someone blames me for you ripping them off... nuff said.

I agree with ALL you said. However, I'd buy the Beograd simply as a fine ship for my "museum". Hell, I have the Krispy Kreme... but turns out I really LOVE to fight in that one, just like the Perth... who knows, I might also like the Beograd. :)

Exactly proves my point... the Italian fleet isn't THAT famous around the world. I care so very little for the Italian ships that WERE real that I'm not surprised it was a paper ship. I said previously that I am a fan of naval history... Friesland is a very famous ship, the first real ship my home of Holland built after the war, she had a very interesting life, even saw action... visited the Soviet Union... and didn't have torpedoes... but still a famous ship AND very fun to play... not that I own her of course... if WoWs would have an assurance that they won't repeat the bad things they have done and started respecting the community a lot more, and not see them as cash cows.... I'd have already purchased her as a Christmas present for myself... but not now... not the way they do things, I'm not sure the game will still be here in 12 months time.
