Actually, you turn pink right away, its happened to me once, and really, I'm tired of bot allies turning into my torps and sailing for a kilometre to actually hit my torpedo.... and I mean that, they seem to go out of their way to run into allied torps... today, one reversed so he could hit my torpedo... I didn't turn pink, he got sunk by the enemy before that happened. And yes, I'm tired of the STUPID bots. having them (ally bot) sit side by side with an enemy bot player and do nothing is just not fair... either I hit him to sink the enemy, or I hit him and get fined... seriously, either that needs to be fixed because its just not realistic.

They actually said in the game that I was being transferred to another server.... misleading to say the least... And I'd only just finished my battle and got booted... not even a chance to see the post game stats... couldn't they wait a minute so I could see how well I did? Anyhow... its working now... they shouldn't tell fibs that I'm being moved to another server if all the servers will be down... its downright rude.

I have been on the receiving end of some very nice insults... but then, I give as good as I get. Reporting them is a waste of time, the game devs only want your money, God forbid that they would lift a finger to help anyone.... right? OK, Firstly.... I have been subject to some real nasty "mother" insults.... I'm 56, my mother died when I was 19... so, when I point this out to them, they are either remorseful and apologetic or go for broke and keep the insults flowing. Yes, these people should be banned..... but also the ones that do the following... Follow my ship either on the left or right so I cannot turn to avoid torpedos.... or, without looking, just turn into me so they can bring their guns to bear... If they crash into me, why the F......udge should I cop a fine, especially when *I* press the right mouse button to make sure I don;t hit anyone... THEY do not care about spoiling my fun... they ruin the game for me, WORSE when the .....nice....... game devs fine ME as well.... Or what about the torps I fire from close range and one misses the target and travels another 6+ K's to hit an allied ship just sitting there trying hard to avoid getting into a fight lest his nice shiny ship should be hit... no one for miles.... except him... and my torpedo... he has MINUTES of warning, especially as I tell him to MOVE or get hit by my torpedo.... and he does NOTHING.... and yet, again,. I get fined.... So.... to these people.... I have a few choice words.... THEY cause the accident when turning into me and I know I'm going to be fined because they don't care about anyone but themselves enjoying the game.... One day.... the game devs are going to be forced into saying they got it wrong, NOT taking action against the abuse it chat, Got it wrong when fining the victims of rammings along with the culprits... and much more.... and they will be told... hopefully by a Judge in a Court of Law, that their love of money prevented them from doing the right thing..... If they ever REALLY get serious about tackling the problems... then I for one will be amazed so much so that I'll have a stroke.... Right now.... I have zero respect for these n00bs that ruin the game for others... and even less for the game devs... I mean... they CAN fix it if they wanted....

Oh yes, God forbid that the Russian spooks should get a hold of the plans for the latest WW1 battleship plans.... LMAO! The plans would all have been released by 1968 (50 years after 1918) or WILL be released by 2017 (99 years after 1918) assuming they were not released sooner, these are out dated ships after all. I believe its more likely that they haven't gotten around to it yet... then again, was there EVER a good RN BB? Hood (sunk with one shot by the Bismarck) or the Rodney and Nelson... sunk by Japanese bombers before they even left the Indian Ocean... most of the time, they were locked up at Scapa Flow waiting for a German breakout to the Atlantic... or used on convoy duty... Name one modern RN BB that would be worthy of getting into the Wows game?

"that would ever live in infamy"... the USA started a build up of military forces that was unprecedented in the history of mankind, by wars end, they had so many Destroyers and Submarines to fight with, and "Liberty" cargo ships that they were never used because they didn't have the men to man them...-I mention that now, in my annual December 7th memorial post because of Donald Trump. If he wants America to be great again, like it was in WW2 ... and get industry back to those days... he will need to start a war... he isn't even President yet and already he is talking tough to China... December 7th isn't just a day to remember, its also to honour the millions who died fighting it... and say to ourselves.... "never again...."-Lest we forget.

A dud? Yes, you do get them, the ships before and after that model is fine... it could also be that the way I was driving it was wrong and always would be, the point is, its my problem... others seem to be fine with it... just not me. That was my point... sort of, you and the ship have to bond, if you get along, she will teach you how she should be sailed.. Funny thing, I get on better with the Omaha than I ever did with the Cleveland...

Some of you hate the RN Cruisers, I love them, and I'll tell you why.... This applies to ANY ship, class, tier or nation. Each ship class is different. You cannot expect to drive a New York like you can tin can named Isokaze and you cannot drive that one like the Kolberg. Each ships has its good points and its bad points, when you find out what they are and change your tactics FOR THAT SHIP ONLY, you will be a lot happier. The fact that killerkeano said about some ships because of his efforts with the Fiji proves that point... what he meant was the tactics he stumbled upon, first go, worked for him. I have heard others say that you never turn your side towards an enemy, mainly BB's but any ship... that means, at most you get to fire six shells from the forward battery... it makes no sense... if it takes 60 shells to sink a BB (as an example) why would you want to fire 10 salvoes to get the job done? Not when you can fire broadside and fire 12 salvoes a go, and get the job done quicker. TACTICS, discover them then you will never hate any ship again, I have 21 ships in my fleet, I like them all, because I know their limitations. There are exceptions... I bought the Cleveland and sailed her in many combat mission, I sold it because the ship is a dud. They posted a history video about the class being unsinkable but that wasn't how it played out in the game, one shell.... repeat ONE shell.... from a BB and she was nearly dead. I tried all the tricks and never could tame the beast... so, I moved on. RN ships, Cruisers, are very good when used for what they were designed for, get in, attack, get out FAST! Its why some have the smoke cannister.

OK, looking at the mods... need to know, do other people see the mods, like you ship being pink, or just you? I suspect.... just you... right? Waiting for someone to go crazy and make a Steven Seagal mod based on the following parameters.... When added to a ship, any ship... when you fire your guns, a low voiced Seagal says "bang" When you fire torps... he yells (for him) "[edited]fired" .....OK, the word censor kicked in, what does a torpedo look like... ladies? YOU know.... When a fire breaks out he says "Time for the cook to do some cooking..." when your ship is hit, he says "owww" when you ship is blown up, he says "its only a flesh wound..." and finally.... an arnie voice saying "I'll be baccckkkk" when you ship finally sinks under the waves... I think this is a good idea, instead of getting angry or frustrated that your ship sank, you would be smiling...

It means we would rather play the game than watch someone else getting hit and sinking.... ...or ... watching someone else doing the sinking.

Royal Navy destroyers would eat opposing cruisers and battleships for "morning tea" don'tcha know... pip pip.... Tally ho and all that. So yeah, I waited a whole year for the RN Cruisers... and now seriously waiting for the RN Destroyers... if the devs get it right, then it will be good... VERY good. But even so, in the game, destroyers are just cannon fodder for the bigger ships... even cruisers are suspect, one shot by a BB and you're sunk! But yeah... hanging out for the awesomeness that is Royal Navy tin cans....

On average, I get a super container every week, I get a 0-2000 container once a day, and 1 or 2 2000-10,000 containers a week. Its the only option I choose... having said that, if I get one more signal flag... I'll freaking scream. BTW, I think you get more chances to get a super container if you ask fro one at the 2nd tier.... ie: betwen 2000 - 10,000 ..... 0-2000 is nothing special to prove yourself... having said that, its possible, but the chances are slim... 2 and 3rd tiers you bought more luck...

Well..... I was so disappointed with what I was offered when I asked to join a clan, I started my own. read this and get ready to join. Firstly, the two clans I saw seem to be after bulk members, there is no community... no way to form friendships because those two things alone ARE what makes a clan. So, while the forums I am setting up IS hosted on a free server, it will, soon, be moved to its own domain on my server... and it will be run with a few very real things in mind... they are... 1) making friends is a given... 2) Community based in order to foster better a better understanding of other players 3) The site is based on the real Navy... we do not have a "lounge".... we will have a ward room! 4) tactics and advice will be posted to help our clan 5) discussions on warships is a must to save buying substandard ships 6) Helping clan members join clan divisions and teams and most importantly... You join our Clan and I will tell you all the secrets, I love the Brit cruisers and sail three of them, the best being Emerald, I'm after the Leander next. Any game of co-op, I sink at least three ships with a Brit cruiser! The ships are actually very well balanced and the only way you can get sunk is if you do something silly... I'm making a whole series of videos for our clan on how to tame your warship, advice and tactics, what not to do... The best co-op game I ever played was in a destroyer and I sunk 7 out of eight enemies... PM me if you want to join the clan, its called WAR BOARD ...

Did not bother to read all the replies. To the OP I say this... Harden up man! Adapt or die... I drive the HMS Emerald, she is a nice boat, and routinely, on average, I sink three battleships per game if I'm lucky... Never sail towards a battleship from the side, they will bring all guns to bear and decimate you. Use your brains... Either do a sneak attack and fire torpedoes... or charge it head on, at the last minute, turn and fire torpedoes. The guns should only be used on fellow cruisers or destroyers.... and carriers, of course. My number one complaint is total n00bs firing torpedoes from maximum plus range while I'm lining up a shot, I sink the target but get sunk by n00bs on my own team... WORSE...they ram ME.... and I get fined... how hard is it for the server to tell who hit who and ONLY fine them? Oh well, I hope this advice helps... in the mean time, I'm planning on videoing all my battles and shaming the culprit TKers on youtube. The fines are pathetic.... the REAL Tkers who do it on purpose don;t care because they KNOW they won;t ever get banned.

Last night, New Zealand suffered a 7.6 Earthquake.. 2 dead, much damage... mostly minor at this stage. I went to bed early for a change, 11:30pm and at 12:05am it struck... I jumped out of bed after waking up my wife and immediately walked into the set of drawers at the foot of our bed... I then limped over to the window to make sure they were slightly open to prevent a shattering time... Will I be playing WoW today? Not sure...
