No, as I said in the post previous, it took me to the CIS server to log in, I cannot speak Dutch and even less so, Russian. My wife said she donated 500 Euros to Save The Children directly to them this morning. I think its suspect when you want everyone to do it via WoWs.... from other posts, I get the feeling you're going to make a press statement that your "community" loves the game so much that they donated X via our live streams... and of course, as the NA Admin said (before NO ZOUP shot him down"... Everyone loves the PR event..... yeah, you'll get your BS publicity out of it... no doubt. Thanks for your concern/help... as for the next part... frustration... WoWs back to normal in damage control mode.... move along, nothing to see here... Any idea when we will get a REAL apology From Sub_Octavian (aka Joker) and then another one for insulting disabled people and the unemployed????? Or are you guys going back to "silent mode"?

That is it in a nutshell. God forbid that we find out someone died while playing this grind, or was evicted... or committed suicide because they didn't get the PR..... Would WoWs care then? Probably not.

Now you know why many critics (like me) of the CV Rework were banned from the NZ forums for crappy reasons.... not the obvious ones, like, "ve vish to silence you, Comrade".... Nope... "You called someone a dork, banned for life..." Even if that person called me a dork first and is still posting there???? Yup, no respect for the Communist side of this game.

Well, either the Joker or Lex Luther... thing is, they never win.... Right now, WoWs is dangerous to a persons health. As I said elsewhere, I could buy a PR for all 40 members of my clan, but I won't... but there are some people who think the PR is going to make them heroes and a champion player of WoWs.... (they are going to be disappointed) ... so they cannot really afford the ship... so start playing 24/7 to get it... then buying just one booster... then another... then, because its an all or nothing event, meaning, if you don't get the shiop by the time the event ends, you lose EVERYTHING.... time... money.... mental health.... so if you can afford it.... you say "I need this ship... my (imagined) reputation as a champion depends on it... so they buy it.... and probably do without food for a few weeks.... The upshot is this... they hyped the ship... stacked the event in their favour so NO ONE could win it unless you're young and can stay up 24/7 for a few days... (dangerous right there if you have a weak heart) This is where its illegal... say you saw an advert.... buy your own home... $1000 down and easy payments each week for 20 years.... so you sign up, pay the deposit and then find out they changed the rules, no easy payments, a weekly payment of $10,000 or you lose your home... that is illegal... and so is what WoWs is doing, they suckered people into buying booster thinking it would be a normal ship grind, they misled the CC's who misled the players.... But the thing is... some ARE trying to do it without paying a cent... they will suffer mentally.... which is dangerous... or use money they cannot afford to give WoWs .... it was designed to be a trap long before it even started... And the Joker is at the head of the pack making excuses.... they LOVE disabled people so much, they want to do it for them.... the hypocrisy is strong in the Joker. So, having Terminal Lung Cancer, I know the dangers of smoking... but this is much much worse.... sound enough argument for you sir?

And when WoWs figures that out, they will change it back... this will never end... they said the wouldn't do this, now they are. Its no longer pay to play... not even play for free... its "do as we say or you get nothing"... Russian arrogance....

So, I thought I'd get my free santa container before donating... didn't get it.. wanted me to log in, defaulted the CIS server to log in... No container.... no donation... I couldn't because I couldn't log in... Good going WoWs... I feel cheated again... and so do the children, no doubt.

Once my premium runs out in about 20 days, that is it. No more. On a lighter note... I plugged in my new gaming keyboard and ma usi9ng it now... pretty colours below the keys so i can see them in the dark, and the letters etc are also lit up... from left to right... TAB, q, w, e, r are in GREEN T y and U are in yellow... I O P { } are in red... Enter, the arrow keys are in purple... the key pad is in blue.... its actually once I got second hand as I wear them out fast... only paid a few Euros for it... When I stop playing WoWs so much, I want to see what its like on War Thunder and some other games... not so much WoWs... I'll see if I can find a photo of it.... sadly, I missed out on the mouse... 55 Euros they want for a new one.... Been posting negative stuff of late, wanted to change the tone of my posts...

I always intended to ignore it... I'd be happy with the Gorizia or Gorilla or what itrs name is... the PR is just a bad Alaska knock off... and the ships you can win with the Gorgonzola or whatever its name is... I already have them all. But I hate injustice... I lost no money... didn't want the PR.... but pretty annoyed that disabled people were used and a cheap shot excuse... OH, yes, and the criminality of it... I suspect in another dimension, I'd be the Batman... fighting the corrupt and getting the criminals locked up. Dammit, WoWs, you couldn't even wait for the new year... you're determined to totally destroy the game before 2020 shows up... why? oh well... three more weeks then I'm free... no more having to play as I won't be tied to my premium cost... Its sad to see what Greed does to a game, sad. WoWs, WoTs, E.A., Bethesda and a few others are all part of the axis of evil it would seem.

I'm a lot calmer now. So, @Sub_Octavian having put more thought into this after a nights sleep, you should probably read this as well. Maybe you are a good guy like they say, putting aside the fiasco that is the Puerto Rico affair, I want you to know a few things about me, a disabled person (legally) since December 20th, 2001 when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after an M.R.I scan at Wellington Hospital. In 2015, I met this Dutch woman on FaceBook, she travelled from Holland to New Zealand for a holiday but we hit it off so well, we got married. I love my wife, I make her breakfast in bed most mornings... without having to be asked, I do all the cooking, I do all the baking, its what I did when I worked... But then, in 2017, I was diagnosed with Terminal Lung Cancer. In my case, they found a genetic mistake in me that had given the Cancer a way in. Apparently, most male members of my family (on my fathers side) have this, obviously, being Genetic. But the good news was a Generation 1 pill called TARCEVA which fights the cancer by fixing the mistake... after initially being told I had six months to live, I suddenly had more time... the cancer shrunk so much that its all but gone BUT the cancer cells remain... thank goodness, they are trapped in my lungs, they cannot get out ...(well.... I hope not). If I stop taking the pill, I die... but as the cells remain, its still classed as Terminal. Sadly, sooner or later my body will build up a resistance to this pill. The generation 2 pill may or may not work. My wife and I decide to move back to Holland... I was born there but left for New Zealand as a baby. 59 years later, we flew back in a trip (in stages) that took many hours and honestly, nearly killed me. New Zealand and Holland are 12 hours apart. The crazy thing is, I cannot speak Dutch... but I am seeing the nation I was born in, I've seen the town I was born in which is a short distance from the town named after my family... I digress again, sorry. The point is this... I have had a full life, I'm having a FULLER life now, I have no time to feel sorry for myself that I'm going to die... no time feeling sorry for myself that I cannot work... because I'm too busy living life to the fullest, Sub_Octavian, I have no time to sit and wallow in self pity but nor do I, as you assume a disabled person would, play WoWs 24/7 because I have no life... I do.... because I have no family.... well.... I do... BUT... I left them all behind in New Zealand. That doesn't mean they won't be with me... video chatting is popular.... I do volunteer work, but thanks to the insult regarding disabled people... I wont be playing as much next year. Personally, I don't care for the Puerto Rico... I think she is a mediocre version of the Alaska... just like the CC's advised us to steer clear of the latest Russian BB for the same reason... While I disagree with your companies poor decision making... the worst being that Russians, especially untrained Russians, should NEVER do their own Public Relations work. NEVER! Its the Russian arrogance and the Russian stubbornness that created EVER SINGLE MESS SINCE DAY ONE FOR THIS GAME.... and sadly, you, Sub_Octavian, were involved in most, if not all of them. The CV Rework is a classic example, we, the players, said it wouldn't work... NO CV Captain EVER was an active combat pilot... but you knew better... your idea of balancing was the have a tiny cruiser be able to launch 4 or 5 fighter planes or spotters INSTANTLY.... historical fail.... the claim it help facilitate gameplay like Torpedo reloading is absurd. Of course one shot torpedoes would kill DD's... so YES, that is fair enough.... but 4 or 5 planes??? That does NOT facilitate gameplay... that facilitates LAZY BALANCING.... So, How are the CV's working out for WoWs? Listening to all the WG hype, CV's were going to be hugely popular... they are not... Again, I digress, sorry... but I wanted you to FULLY know why your BS has killed this game for me. The insult about disabled people was the last straw, but hardly the first. I'm not sure exactly what your job is, but based on the times you have opened your mouth and inserted your foot, I'd suggest you should really look at other ways of communicating with the community... (read: Hire a North American Public Relations company and run EVERYTHING past them.... a suggestion from No Zoup ... and its a good suggestion. I have a fortune invested in this game, NO MORE... but I will not abandon the money I have already invested. A few games for the first container each day maybe? Its not a question of money... it never was... I could buy everyone in my (NA) clan a Puerto Rico if i so wanted, or at the very least, myself one... but I'd rather the Alaska as I said, But I will not buy the PR... I refuse to reward you for your illegal business tactics to get a sale... a sale at a hugely over inflated price I might add.... which is another reason I wont buy her... for me, the love of the game is gone, Sub_Octavian because of all the crap you utter... you either think we are SO stupid or you really are so arrogant that you think the community loves you and lives for every word you utter.... your lack of respect for the customers is despicable... and lack of respect for disabled people ...much worse. We do not complain for the sake of complaining... and unlike you, I PAY for this game, I make it FREE for you, therefore, I have a RIGHT under LAW to complain, Wows knows this, this is why our posts do not get deleted. BUT... I'll go further and tell you why I'm complaining.... I've said it before, maybe you were driving a ship on my dime... but oh well... I have Terminal Lung Cancer... I also have Multiple Sclerosis... technically, under law, I cannot work so i am disabled. According to the sanctimonious person known as @Sub_Octavian ... who gave this excuse AFTER the crap hit the fan... that it was only ever meant as way for disabled people and the unemployed to go for as they would have the time over the holidays... ...BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW THAT DISABLED PEOPLE AND THE UNEMPLOYED HAVE NO LIFE... NO FAMILIES..... right... no, the they must LIVE for WoWs, there is NOTHING ELSE for them but to sit in their chair all day, every day playing WoWs... NOT war thunder... no... not on FaceBook or Twitter... no... they only exist in their pathetic little lives than to play WoWs 24/7 because they have nothing else.... So out of the goodness of his heart, BLESS HIM... Sub_Octavian created this event for them... no one else... the 1% of players who are unemployed or disabled.... they spent a fortubne on the 1% to create the dockyard animation... meanwhile... many more want some of the known bugs fixed... at least 50%.... but no, the 1% were more important AFTER the crap hit the fan. No, I do volunteer work every afternoon at the local old folks home, my wife is also a volunteer... we go antique shopping every week, I cook all the meals because I used to be a cook... Correction, WG has its HQ in Cyprus for tax purposes, but all the work, all the decisions, all the so called Public Relations work (and art and support etc) is based in St. Petersburg. The HQ in Cyprus is merely for tax purposes and the office is actually that of a law firm... who represents WG. FYI, I have already been in touch with the E.U. Commerce watchdogs... pity I have to repeat myself (I already posted about this). I'm not the only one that is unhappy, they have seen the videos put out by Jingles and Zoup *BUT* they cannot do anything till the new year BUT they will have one person who is working through the holidays to monitor the situation. What they did this time was a clear breach of the law... allowing people to think they can win a ship by grinding it and then when they find they cannot because the bar was set too high... have to pay to get the ship or lose 100% of the boosters they put into the grind, time... etc etc... go watch Zoups and Jingles videos and see what I mean. I assume that if they do not see WG trying to make this right then an investigation will start sometime after the holidays in the new year. That is why WoWs isn't saying anything... not so much as hoping the mess dies down... as not wanting to give any possible prosecution more ammo. I could say it was through my efforts, but no, not this time. My neighbour is a legal research assistant who has contacts. When I asked her for advice on what laws were broken, she, based on what I had said... there "is a case for them to answer"... but we shall have to wait and see. I thi9nk they will find out a few things the hard way, for starters, they are Russians and have little idea how a non communist company should operate... its like the Communists TELLING the people what was going to happen... they had nothing to fear, the Justice system was as corrupt as the dictatorships... but this is nearly 2020 ... they went too far... they broke laws that couldn't be ignored any more... Early next year, they will find out the the E.U. Commerce watchdogs come down VERY hard on the bad business practices of former communist nations...

January 10th 2020.... WoWs announces that it has "let go" all its squad of Community Contributors for "treason" and "disagreements" January 11th, WoWs announces that it has sent invited to a new batch of CCs.... but they all decline the invite. January 12th, WoWs says ENOUGH and starts banning its customers from all four region forums for mentioned the PR "event".... the back lash is swift. People ask to be banned to show solidarity with those already banned... January 20th. Sub Octavian says sorry.... and means it... with tears streaming down his face, till someone spots the onion in his tissue.... reissues an apology, really does mean it.... Would you stay or walk?

As Jingles explained... this sales method is illegal. get people thinking they can win a ship for free then make the event so hard, people give up and just buy it. I refuse to encourage their illegal shenanigans... I'm done giving them any of my money. They want to destroy the game then they are well on the way to it. And I'm still waiting for an apology from Sub-Octavian for WoWs having done this to everyone and than an apology for his lame excuse apology where he said it was done for disabled people and the unemployed who don't have a life over the holidays.... I mean... dammit... take OWNERSHIP of your mistakes, dude.... this will NEVER blow over.... not till its decently sorted out. OK, fair enough, but I'm not a member of REDDIT but I know this is being said there... may I suggest you actually say sorry for the mess you guys created to lessen such evil deeds from actually happening? Can I ask if the staff who took part in misleading the community have also been punished? Just wondering...

My logic is this, if they get away with it this time... then its going to happen again and again because everyone is stupid enough to accept a hollow apology... those that impulse buy the PR are actually helping them do it to us all over again... I wouldn't feel the need to say what I did if they were man enough to say sorry and make amends... they were told by the CC's that what they were doing was illegal... hence the refunds, but they still gave a LAME excuse which is an insult to intelligent people. They have not also said they promise not to do it again... So... lame apology... refunds after first saying no refunds.... and nothing.... they MIGHT do it again if the "weak" decide to impulse buy... so better for us to make sure they NEVER do it again... I do know that those appearing in a game with a PR ARE being abused and insulted.... I cannot stop that, I've never seen a PR in battle yet... so hey... what are they going to do for those people who impulse purchased and encountered the wrath of the community for something WoWs has yet to REALLY say sorry for....etc etc.... they can fix it by saying sorry, no buts or if's... making amends and promising never to break the law again.... Its so easy...maybe too easy because they lack the sense to actually do it. Are those responsible for this debacle being held to account? I doubt it....

Agreed, fellow seaman. However, making amends is one thing... but giving a decent apology without lame half hearted excuses is quite another... its was a con, pure and simple so they should say sorry.... ....not "sorry... but this event was only ever for disabled people and the unemployed" because, even if it were true, they should have said that LONG before the event started... As I said... we should not be saying sorry to them till they say sorry to us... and mean it... for starters. Fair seas, brother.
