Malta seems to be out of NDA since I see some YT videos for it. So can anyone here give their impressions? I am almost certainly going to drop the coal for it immediately. FWIW, I hate FDR but like Immelmann (despite only having a few games in it so far).

Question for Immelmann commanders - is the third upgrade Skip Bomber module necessary? (ie +2secs to Skip Bomb attack time). I was thinking of putting the secondary mod on instead. I just got the ship last week from a container and haven't played it yet.

I posted this in the submarine early access thread but perhaps it would be better here: Ok until now I have kinda ignored subs. I played maybe 4-5 games total over the previous year and endured facing them in all modes. However now that they are coming as fully fledged tech-trees, I feel obliged like I always do to play through them. With that being said, can anyone link me a good 101 submarine guide that will get me off the ground and not be a detriment to my team even at T6? And no, I won't play co-op. -

So better than Hornet, but worse than Kaga/Chkalov in summary? Is it at least different/interesting enough to be worth a pick up? Hornet and Aquila are the only 2 T8 Premium CVs I don't have (nor Enterprise).

Now that its been out a while, whats the verdict on Aquila? It seemed pre-release people were very negative on it but now I see mostly positive opinions which is confusing.

So whatever your opinions of this upcoming change, the fact that it is so obfuscated to me is a MASSIVE red flag (pun intended) that the new system is a failure. It's often said the ultimate goal of engineering is simplicity and this new system is a total train wreck of complexity. I cannot even be arsed trying to figure out if its benefical or not. That being said, is there a TL;DR of anything we should do in advance of the change to min-max it? Edit: You know what, I took 15 mins to read some of the devblog (looking at this really helps understand what is going to happen - https://worldofwarships.eu/en/content/economic-bonus-calculator/) and while I'm still very much in the dark as to whether this is going to be a net gain or loss for a player like me, I DO see the potential benefit. For example, I am a long-term player who is rarely playing ships to actually grind through a tech-tree. But when I do play a ship (of any tier) I want to maximize my CXP or FXP. Currently that can mean "wasting" the +100% (or even +125/+150 %) of normal ship XP just to get my CXP/FXP modifier up. Under the new system I can completely ignore normal XP and just select eg +800% CXP and/or +1600%FXP. That is, if I understand correctly that selecting Normal XP (the second column) will have no influence on the CXP and FXP. If that is the case then I can really see an advantage to this from a high leve - BUT it all depends on the minutia of the conversions and that is still a bit of a mystery. I still don't know if there is any prep I should make before the change or anything I should stock up on so if anyone has any insight into that I would appreciate. eg I think I read someone suggesting to stock up on Happy Pi Day camos - can anyone confirm? -

I think its clear that with the introduction of Superships and now this "oversight" that WG are trying to establish credits as the main gate to progress in this game. -
I only have enough credits for 1 Supercarrier, and I know they are controversial but I do want to try one. There doesn't appear to be a huge difference in performance, is that correct? Are the announced nerfs going to have any impact?

My only complaint about the RB is that I am "trapped" into constantly regrinding the IJN gunboat line and for that reason rarely if ever play the Harugumo itself. I say trapped because that line has the least XP, has probably the strongest T8/T9 combo in the game, and I already have 2 20 pt captains on Aki and Kita. So regrinding any other line makes no sense. Aside from that, if you enjoy playing the Harugumo itself then you will enjoy playing Aki and Kita - so why not regrind and get something for your trouble too? -

I've decided I want to try and play some games as a sub (T6 only for now) to try and understand them a bit better. For better or worse, I think subs will be coming permanently and I think the current iteration is pretty close to final. They might tweak the torps/pings a bit but I think the dive/concealment side of things is pretty settled. That being said, can anyone give me a quick and dirty guide to the T6 subs - which one is better, which modules to use, which captain skills? -
[Poll] How do you like new "Convoy" game mode?

It is far from perfect, but I like Convoy and think of all the new modes they have tried in the last year (eg Aysnc battles, Super BBs), this is by far the most likely to make it permanently. The concept is perfect but the balancing isn't there. I'm sure most people have already said the attacking team have the advantage, well to tune it they should just buff the Liberty ships in some way. eg give them better concealment, more HP, a better torp belt, functional AA. I really hope they keep this mode in and tune it as opposed to throwing it out. Also it could obviously be expanded to more tiers. -
Has anyone noticed the improvement to the German CV AP bombers (specifically Graf Zep)? What is the goto build for Zep these days?

Hey, I closed the ticket. I'm not sure what happened - the display was weird in that I couldn't see exactly how much XP I had on the Z-31 but it turns out it was enough for the Maerker so I was able to unlock it.

Hi Crysantos, Can you please check into the issue I am reporting here? I lost over 100k XP on the Z-31 and as you can imagine, I am not very keen to play through that ship again. Thanks

I had unlocked Z-31 through early access via the tokens in a previous update and had gained around 100k XP on her. Today when I logged in, I have zero XP on her. This is not how it worked in the past (eg the Italian BBs) - I kept the early XP from early access and was able to unlock the next ship when the tech-tree was released. Is this intended or a bug?

Hi all, Is there any update to this issue? I also opened this ticket - 132342269. The agent who replied to that seemed to mis-understand the issue. This other thread clearly shows players who like me had a lot of XP on Z-31 from before the patch but they all retained that XP and were able to unlock the Maerker. Thanks

On a side note, I have had trouble logging in today. I removed all mods (Aslains), performed a file integrity check but even now I can only login in Safe Mode. Is there anything else I can do to resolve that? Edit: I resolved this particular issue by running the game repair - it seems when Aslains uninstalled it left behind some stuff. But in any case, the Z-31 issues persists as before. Here is my Z-31 SS (I had sold her before I realised what was going to happen because I knew I had over 100k XP on her and was going to just free-xp the last few thousand to unlock the Maerker).
